What I want to see happen
-
I would really like to see a public debate between a true believer (one who follows the Quran only) and a person who belives in the hadith/sunna.
Has this happened before? Is there any intention of this happening, whether It'd be in Australia (where i live), UK or the US?
This can prove how following only the Quran, the true way, is the path to follow.

As per Natu corrected -) Good man natu!

So I think you just slightly misunderstood the situation. I think Antar is actually a true believer, and he is enthusiastic about spreading this monotheism we have been blessed with.
Antar You suggestion is excellent, and it been done all the time, for example, our Man Edip Yuksel has had such debates in Turkey, but I am not sure whether they have happened in UK or USA, please see the following...

I'm sure there are enough people in the UK for example that would be more than willing to get something going (hint hint, nudge nudge,...) but first we need someone anti-quran to say that they are willing to have this debate, but the chances are, they just want to keep our movement on a low, so that less people know about it. We shall see...

Sorry Natu, I am little weary of people wanting to spread a particular understanding of God...I would rather encourage individuals to think for themselves and let them come to their own understanding of God and religon using their God-given reason...but thats my view...

You really are the definition of free-mind arent you?!
Anyway, I think it would still be a good idea to help raise awareness. I don't think Antar is trying to get the debating person to see the truth publicly, but rather he is thinking that it would be a good idea to use such activity to increase awareness ,to kind of kick start the free-thinking wink .

Hello Natu,
You really are the definition of free-mind arent you?!
Well, thank you very much -)
But always remember, don't let anyone IMPOSE their free-minds on you!
When people deny your reason they undermine your human dignity...Anyway, I think it would still be a good idea to help raise awareness. Good man Natu and that is a good thing to do.
And you have understood my concern...Regards,
