what is the difference between these two words,
      Haid
      Almuhaid

Haid i think is the noun and muheid is the blood that comes out.

This is a sunni website talking about the subject.

And they people ask you, the Messenger regarding the Menstruation/Menstrual discharge period of wives.
You tell them, "The menstrual discharge is a cause of little vexation.
For this reason therefore, you people consciously refrain/restrain-stay away "performing sexually-enter semen" with such of wives who are in the state of the Menstruation//Menstrual discharge period.
And you should not associate/approach them for matrimonial nearness so long they may exhaust/drain out menstrual discharge.
Consequently, when they have exhausted/drained out making themselves cleansed for this reason/in this state, you people/husbands associate with them from the point of location and time Allah has decreed/appointed for you people.
Indeed Allah the Exalted appreciates and recognizes those who return/revert to proper conduct/point leading to right direction and He the Exalted appreciates and recognizes those who maintain cleanliness and purity.

It is Verbal Noun and Noun of Time. The question was how a husband should conduct when his wife is menstruating. An act is under progress. She is draining out the blood. The effect of that act is also described by a verbal noun.

          Salam,

The verse 2- 221 has a word , it is and the paradigm is . The meaning of the word can not be menses , The word for menses is then why instead of the word is used.

the word means the place or the time or the target of one of the meaning of is menses while meanings are blood like material coming out of the stem acacia tree ( &#1585, Water flows ( &#1569. So the meaning of is place or time when blood or water flows . Now keeping in view the context of war the simple meanings are the time or place of war .

Other objection to the usual translation is the answer to the query about the answer is painful. This answer is not correct about menses. Its only painful or disturbing to some ladies. This statement can not be taken categorical for all ladies. Hence It is again to be interpreted as condition of war.

Hence never means keep yourself away from ladies but here it again means keep yourself away from the oppressed or weak people till they have cleared of the wrong thoughts and ideas. Once they are pure according to Quranic teachings then you may come to them according to the orders of Quran. Because God loves those who return to the right path and purifies.
