For example, I would be interested in learning about your take on human beings' relationship with Allah. If prayer is stupid then how can one have a communication? I'd like to know what you think makes sense.

I just don't understand, how salaat be a not contact prayer.. If GOD is a being then you should make a individ kind of connection with HIM, so you can can ask him and and gain a certainty.
I'm not talking about belief here, i'm talking about the ONE.
In Quran mentions about war that we can shorten salaat; moderate tone, congregation, Direction, specific times , position (prostrating, standing like Mary did)....

do you mean like intercession something? I think Prophet did know that he can not make a people happy unless they will make a right decision(s), change themselves. Prophet is a deliver so it should be clear for US.

Every creature in the heavens and the earth glorifies God. But we do not understand their glorification (1744).

We've explained many times on this forum that it's not contact prayer and I know you read it, but if you really mean that you still don't get it, go to a website called mentalbondageinthenameofgod.wordpress.com and read it's articles, especially about rituals and salat.
And/or then go to servantofthelight.com for even better guidance
