Maybe you should "study" more of SOL then. I simply reviewed what you sent me and that's what he uses and promotes. Take it up with him if it bothers you.

Show me where chakra mysticism is in the Quran? Show me allodial land laws are in the Quran? SOL misuses 1 verse and expounds an entire theory based not on the Quran but on English Law and writings of the Clergy to justify his "interpretation". Abdun Nur takes the term "to God belongs everything" to construct and entire economic system not described in the Quran using English Law as his basis and you deem that correct? He plays a game with words saying you can't charge for "things" because they are God's and can only charge for "labor" forgetting that Quran also says "everyone" belongs to God so by his own rational labor couldnt be "sold" either and none of it is actually in the Quran as Islamic Law as SOL contends.

Defend Abdun Nur and SOL all you want. I will stick to the Quran.

    But seeing as you are so wise and above us in knowledge and understanding of the Quran, maybe you can give the correct "translations" and meanings for these verses;

And God said "Do not take-up two gods, there is only One god, so it is Me that you shall reverence. (1651)
Your god is God; whom there is no god but He. His knowledge encompasses all things. (209
And He is the One who is a god in the heaven and a god on earth. And He is the Wise, the Knowledgeable. (4384)

It is a common trait of the religious to debate for the sake of last word, because if you were interested you would not affirm but ask. I obviously understand more of the issues detailed on servantofthelight than you and have put more thought and time unto them, this becomes apparent when we read your remarks.

What would you define as chakra mysticism? The belief that the body of each being is divided into vertices ? I haven't read any administrator of SOL defending this exact concept, and I haven't found a verse in the Qu'ran speaking of this either, but again, my study of the book is ongoing and my actual word can be changed. I would love it, so very much, for you to completely refute Reiki for example.

Your argumentation strategy is flawed and stupid, you are negating the existence of something because the Qu'ran supposedly does not speak of it. Thus, you must have your own vision of the world, the universe and existence in general, as the Qu'ran is silent even on the account of bananas. This adds another plausible alternative to my precedent analysis of you; suffering from schizophrenia or a similar psychological sickness would too be a probable explanation.

As for the politics, the verses are absolutely clear. I find it funny that you choose to accept some verses word by word, but choose not to do the same for others. To Allah everything belongs, points to nothing but allodial right of use. I don't quite understand what you are trying to point out by saying that everyone belongs to Allah too, the two concepts are obviously different, as you can't plant a seed into a human being and make a fruit tree grow from him.

I have not yet arrived to the point of defending the ideas presented on SOL, I am just explaining the key concepts to someone who has clearly understood nothing. I have never said, and do not think that I am above in understanding and science. What differs me and you is that I stay away from logical fallacies, ideas that fail philosophically and scientifically, and choose above all to use reason, every time.

Lastly, I am not the one responsible for the translation on SOL, as I am presently still studying Arabic. Surely if you are interested, you can contact Badar, he will be delighted to answer you.

When you will decide to really converse, I will be more than happy to debate you, but obviously you have not yet arrived to this point as you seem confused and lost, not even knowing for sure what you are saying. Similarly, I have not yet received the wisdom to handle what I see as a bad (for the lack of a more precise word) speech; but we start small, before we can blossom and grow.

You seem lost on the fact that most of SOL's rants and justifications ARE logical fallacies and fallacious reasonings. His premises are wrong to begin with thus his whole argument is little more than straw man arguments, non sequitors and circular reasoning.

The main problem you don't seem to see is he is elevating his opinions and interpretations as Islamic Law, there by declaring all other views and interpretations as Un-Islamic. It's crazy. He can have all the wild opinions he wants and say all he wants about his views and understandings and ramble on and on and on about abstract things not in the Quran but he should steer clear of declaring his opinions and bias as the true and undeniable facts of Islam or Islamic Law or the Islamic way of life.

So enough of SOL, surely you can reason and think for yourself, so what do make of these verses considering Abdun Nur's anti-God opinions?

And God said "Do not take-up two gods, there is only One god, so it is Me that you shall reverence. (1651)
Your god is God; whom there is no god but He. His knowledge encompasses all things. (209

The fool I am for thinking that my last message would have been sufficient to close the case. I will only react to the last part of your message, as I really could care less what your opinions on anything or anyone are. I have my way, my life and you have yours, surely soon we will be differentiated.

Spare me your judgements and spare me your dreams, because recently mine have been tearing my seams. I sit alone in this winter clarity which clouds my mind. - Mumford and Sons

If you would have read my precedent reaction fully, you would have stumbled upon the paragraph that clarifies that I am still in the process of learning and studying Arabic in its whole form. Thus I cannot allow myself to translate the verses you gave, I do not even have the grammar and lexicon books used by Dr. Badar on hand.

You have to understand that one cannot judge the validity of a certain argument, or choose one side over the other, if one does not have both debating parties' arguments in front. When a new argument is given, one must wait for the response to judge. Philosophical and scientific reasons, as well as the proper translations of verses which seemed for me tricky drew me to my present understanding.

As I said before, you would probably find it more beneficiary to converse with Dr. Badar on translations.

                Nope.

Allah, the transfinite consciousness that emanates all creation from the inside out. Free of imaginary entities that do not exist.
Allah, Not god, the single consciousness, your Lord, my Lord, the Lord of the universe... the One Creator ( Not God ) ALONE. The creator of everything, there is no god, only Allah.

He is the One GOD; the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Glorifying Him is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, Most Wise.

It's funny how debates rage on about simple semantics... As far as the average submitter is concerned, GOD almighty is our lord.. and we call Him by whatever name we consider most holy, most deserving of His greatness, based on our linguistic understanding and cultural past.

Traditionalist translations aren't going to prove anything.

God doesn't exist. That is the foundation of Islam. There is no god, there is only Allah

God isn't a good name for Allah, as it's making Him look worse then what he is, an All-great Creator

ALLAH = Arabic, GOD =English, DIEU= French, etc... The language is not important. The creator could send HIS scripture in any language.

4144 If We made it a non- Arabic Koran,( scripture) they would have said why did it come down in that language.( Whatever language GOD chooses, there is always those who want it in a different one?) Whether it is Arabic or non-Arabic ( It happens to be Arabic because the messenger was Arab! GOD sent the Torah in Hebrew, the language of the children of Israel and Jesus spoke Aramaic ,so the Gospel came in Aramaic) Say? For those who believe, it is a guide and healing; As for those who disbelieve, they will be deaf and blind to it ( Even if they were pure Arabs!) as if they were addressed from far away.? ( Nowadays no language is a barrier! The message is more important than the language! More importantly if GOD is the author, HE guides with HIS words those who choose to be guided?)

Allah/God is your Lord and my Lord.
                                    Peace.

                                      SALAAM TO ALL sun

JESUS SPOKE ARAMAIC???proves?i never seen them IS JESUS ISA? ISA IBN MARYAM SISTER OF MUSA ...and surely elso theres no 2 Maryams nor 2 Isa thats the bigest misconception when you try to fit bible names and caracthers, fables and distortions to Explain the AQuran.
and most of all geting in confusion by comparing ALQuran, Complete, detailed and simple, to be pondered meditated studied. Even Isaupanishadas or BadvadGuitta cor even other book non religious can give you a better understanding of what are the Signs of Creator than Bible or Hadice , but the better is to know them all and crosscheck History and arquology, Why the distances between cities that are discrabed in Bible dont fit the Map? Why Misrim (fortress cities) are transltaed as Egypt? We are here to Serve (ibada) trught good actions and remember The Creator constantly , HE is closer than jugular vain,

                                      Salaam from Old GharblAndalus

Traditionalist translations aren't going to prove anything.
God doesn't exist. That is the foundation of Islam. There is no god, there is only Allah
God isn't a good name for Allah, as it's making Him look worse then what he is, an All-great Creator

Those who insist that "Allah" is the personal name of God are somewhat short on Quranic knowledge. As the following verse states

"Say, "Call Him Allah, or call Him the Rahman (The Almighty); whichever name you use, to Him belongs the "Asma al-Husna" (most beautiful names)." 17110

This verse makes the issue very clear. God here is telling us that He does not have one specific name. In God's infinite Greatness, there is not one name that is sufficient to make reference to Him. Indeed to God belongs all the beautiful names. The Quran lists over 90 names for God and not just the word Allah. We can call Him Allah, we can call Him "Al-Rahman", or we can call him by any of the beautiful names that are worthy of Him. Whether we use the Arabic word for a name like "Al-Wahid" for example, or the English equivalant which is "The One" does not make any difference. The restriction to use the Arabic words to call God is not a condition set by God. For this would falsely imply that only the Arabic language is worthy of calling on God.

Moreover, if God wanted us to call Him specifically by the name Allah, He would not include the words "whichever name you use" in 17110.

Believers thousands of years ago, at the time of Noah and Abraham lived long before the revelation of the Quran. They knew God and they called God with various names, this once again confirms that to insist that only the word Allah is appropriate to refer to God is incorrect.

Believers who quarrel about something as fundamental as this are just exhibiting another form of disbelief. Most people say they are believers, but in the end provide evidence against it.

                                        Peace.
