Anyone in Spain?

Hello to everyone!
I'm a 40 years old Spaniard. I've been a fanatical atheist since my teens. Two years ago I started to feel atracted by XVIII century's deism. I became to recognise the need of some god. Later I began reeding about Islam and Judaism. I rejected Christianism, just because I considered it broke the idea of an only God. However, most of interpretations and books I read about Islam disappointed me. I wanted to seek God and the way of serving Him, not to kill myself becoming a fanatic or an arabized European (as most of converts I have met are). I didn't feel like to reject reason on behalf of tradition (sunna).
Thanks to God, I recently discovered this web site. I hope to learn a lot about you and to share my doubts and fears.
Finally, is there any follower of Coran alone in Spain? It'd be great to be in touch with him/she. -

I cant say I have seen many people from Spain out here. Probably there are, I just dont know yet. I like how you recognized the "all thing arab" fetish of traditional muslims.
