Have you seen Pharaoh's prostrating body? If you have not please visit here.

How do we know that the body wasn't put into that position?

        Salaam brother Natu

He was drowned. I don't know if it is possible to change dead body's stance. But it is unlikely as far as I know. Any ideas?

          Peace born and Natu,

So we know that's the pharaoh, as per the reading? You seem to be pretty sure of that part, that's why I ask.

              Salaam

The Quran says the pharaoh's body is preserved as a lesson for newer generations. When are we going to see it if this is not him???

Well, we could always check for its authenticity.

Check whether it is actually the body of the Pharaoh of Egypt at the time of Musa.

Which will require some knowledge about the exact lifetime of Musa.

The picture doesn't come with references btw. And there are possibly thousands of ancient Egyptians mummified. How can we be sure that this one is the Pharaoh that Musa confronted?

                  Peace be upon you,

Taking the verses literal is the downfall, please search for the VERIFYABLE LESSON ihn the story, don't look for Large Arks, Mountains with a huge Iron wall between them holding "gog's" and "magog's", don't look for sticks to turn into snakes, etc. Look for the wisdom.
