What if someone invited you to dinner and cooked something forbidden, would you eat with them?

Salaam good logic,
I would kindly tell them when I got invited, if they didnt know I could not eat certain things. I did this before and it worked out okay. Its our responsibility to let others know out of respect for them that we dont eat certain things this way there is no misunderstanding when we arrive there to eat. Also if they know you well enough they will respect your beliefs, if they dont then you dont need to go to have dinner with them. If they say well we will be having some things you dont eat but we will also be having things you can eat, then you just eat what is allowed.

The Arabic word for "forced" is actually more pin pointed.
The word is "Edtar", and it would mean "Has to/Need to" (i.e has to out of necessity)
In 53 it gives the example of being on what i would think would be, a "starving situation", where you have a need to. -

I would like to know everyone's opinion on what is the meaning of "Forced to, without seeking disobedience or transgression?"
Does it mean, if some one forces you to eat something forbidden?
Does it mean, if we are starving and the only food around is forbidden and we eat it, then we are not guilty of sin?
Does it mean if we happen to eat something forbidden unknowingly?
All of the above?
I am thinking All of the above, but I may be wrong. Look forward to reading your replies, inshaAllah.

i just wonder about "meat of pig" issue, why pig and not other animal? Maybe it is just not pig and simply it is a bad/decay meat.sincerely.

Your views would be Aided Safar's Beliefs. He disputes that the Word for Pig meat, would mean decaying meat. If you check the other semetic you will see that the Arabic Word for Pig is also a cognate in the Older semetic LanguagesExamples
IN the Torah, the Biblical Hebrew Word for Pig happens to be a cognate of the Arabic word in the Quran "khanzeer"
Aramaic Khazeera
Hebrew khazeer

nurmuhammed, like youssef said, the arabic means pig/swine. alkhinzeeri used in 53 simply means the flesh of swine or pig flesh.
As for why, because Allah said so and he knows best.

These include trichinosis, Taenia solium, cysticercosis, and brucellosis. Pigs are also known to host large concentrations of parasitic ascarid worms in their digestive tract.
It tends to have more fat than beef or chicken, making it higher in calories. This can cause high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, sodium retention and heart problems, not to mention weight gain and obesity.

And pig flesh is very similar to human flesh. When body farms run out of human cadeavers they use pigs. Also it is possible for humans to have pig organs transplanted into them. Pigs can't sweat so they are more susceptible to various ailments. Since they are relatively close to us in genetic make-up they can pass diesease to us easily. (Remember swine flu?) That being said i actually like pigs. They are very bright and kinda cute as piglests. I just would never want to eat any.

Hey there are some goods in Pigs too!
Like Transplants.. I think they still do the Heart valve transplants.
And hey Pigs hearts are closest to humans i think... That would be good for medical students to experiment on etc -

Exactly, and their intestines have pores/tiny holes and what they eat seeps into the meat.

no Offence, but not just pigs do what you mention here... I think we should do more search about pig issue.
