    Peace Mazhar.

The initial letters have a role to play in the great Qoran

1587 "We have given you the seven pairs, and the great Qoran." GOD is saying they have a role? HE mentions them specifically.

Also this is what GOD says in that context, same chapter

1590 We will deal with the dividers.
1591 They accept the Quran only partially.
1592 By your Lord, we will question them all, or.
Their role is to prove the Qoran is from the Creator
    Peace.

I could not understand the logic if there is any in the inference "The initial letters have a role to play in the great Qoran" and the quoted Ayahs.

I do not find "pairs" anywhere in Ayah 1587.

Why not to accept this fact through simple and straight forward verbal communication that this Qur'aan is sent and communicated by the Creator of all that exists. Please calculate how many times this fact has been mentioned in Qur'aan in plain and simple words.

The "Seven pairs" are the 14 initials. A L M...etc... What else could they be?

          Peace.

But the question was where the word "pairs" is in the Ayah.

And you are forgetting there are not 14 initial letters but actually 14.5 letters so to say since "Ha" has two different shapes. This makes it exactly half of the Arabic Alphabet of 29 signs.

              Peace Mazhar.

I never heard of" Half Alphabet". May be you have another book you uphold and you find anything you want in it?

7 pairs make 14. there are no halves that I know of.
              Peace.

                Salam good logic,

                This is an interesting interpretation.

If the first 7 halves is laid down on an xy plane.
The second 7 halves is laid down on a zy plane.
both planes having a flower of life formation
we would get a 3d representation of the flower of life in the form of it's inner sphere cross sections .

Do you happen to have any favorite sites that you refer for interpretations pertaining these verses?

                Peace
                Johan

                  Peace johan.

No, I read different translations. You are familiar with my wedsite " Total loyalty to GOD Alone". I refer to it in many of my posts.

It is always interesting to hear other views/ translations/points . I keep asking my Lord to guide me to do better every day.

I find your posts interesting, I like reading your views.

                  Peace.

What I pointed out is that One alphabet of Arabic has a peculiarity that it changes its shape depending upon its location in the word. It is "Ha" which appears in disjointed alphabets in the beginning of Surat in both shapes.

However, the question remains unresponded as from where you have taken the word "pair" to make 14 alphabets as seven pairs.

                      Simple- " Sabaan mina almathani" means 2 x 7= 14 ( 14 initials).

                      Peace.

                        Salam Mazhar,

Yes also there are some other verses that hints to pair or two for the term mathna, and hence it's plura mathaani
                        3446, 43, 351

about the alphabet ha and it's variation, i think it's just a representation of the oral trait..
i think the oral trait is more significant than the written trait..

                        peace
