As-Salmu Alaykum my name is jacobi i have turned my life to Islam alhamdulilah almost a year ago but there was always something i didnt understand. I have an uncle who left his mosque where he was an Iman and he told me when i turned my life to islam that religion is sin and that the Holy Quran is the only book i need. I have made alot of friends online that are muslim and they do the prayers 5 times a day. and i did this for almost a 4 months until today when i was google searching for how many rakats are required for each prayer so i called my uncle and asked him and he told me to look for it in the Holy Quran because its the book of life. so i looked and i couldnt find it so i asked him why cant i find it and he said because Allah never said to do these things and he told me dont say Allah is the greatest there is only One God so what are you say he is greater than? Im happy to find more people that believe only in the book of life the truth i.e Holy Qur'an. Is there a place where we all can meet

welcome aboard!
slightly disagree with your uncle. God is greatest (not in comparison to other Gods as i believe in only one God) but God is greater than you and me or any thing. when you think of how you started out as a single cell and grew into this complex person - don't you marvel, feel and think God is the greatest?
