How is ok to destroy artifacts in Timbuktu because it is pagan worship but Riyadh Museum Among other ancient artifacts, the Museum houses ancient Idol Gods which were worshiped by Saudi ancestors. These Idols are reported to have been found by Saudis in various Archaeological sites in the Kingdom.http//www.thenational.ae/deployedfiles/Assets/Richmedia/Image/AD201010707119974AR.jpg

    Salaafi Ancestor Worship

    By Amir Fatir

The Prophet's bitterest enemy was Abu Sufyan. After the Prophet's death, Sufyan's son, Muawiyya, joined with Aisha to fabricate the Sunni illegal sect. Why is it illegal? Because the Quran forbids sects. Period. Some Satanists have forged a false Hadith and put in the Prophet's mouth that only one of the 72 sects is cool. No, all of them are Haram.

    Surely those who split up
their religion and become sects, you have
not a thing to do with them.

The teaching of Muhammad was exchanged for a bogus teaching about Muhammad.

The same thing was done to Jesus. Jesus taught the Kingdom of God. Today's so-called Christians teach a Roman mythology
    about Jesus.

The word Salaaf means "ancestral." The Saudi Wahabis have tricked many into a strange brew of Arab ancestor reverence under the guise of Islam.
That is not Islam. If a person calls himself a Salaafi, he is unwittingly saying he's worshipping some dead Arabs who themselves never grasped Muhammad's teachings whatsoever.
The African sages never worshipped their ancestors. They communicated with them to learn the secrets of other realms and for help and intercession. This is a strong human need. When that need is not met, a perversion can arise, ancestor worship.

Sometimes this is subtle. The Saudis and their clients in Wahabism have slipped into putting every old dead Arab onto a pedestal and they call that ancestor worship salaafi.

It's obvious to most people that Salafist/Wahabbis are hypocritical. Personally i don't think relics of the past should be destroyed, even if they are idols, but they pick and choose. As for ancestor worship, they don't even follow their own hadiths. I don't remember specifically, but there are some which say your heritage is not important, your faith is, so they are being hypocrites again.

You can't go wrong with just the Qur'an.
