      Peace Submitter Ays,
Well, The issue is not about Qibla whether it is Mecca or Jerusalem , My concern is, are the Muslims praying to those three deities represented by those three pillars or it is a coincidence that the kabah have three pillars inside.

Wakas, Thanks for the info and advice.

      Regards,

          Peace Pazuzu )

Thanks for your valuable insight but my suspicion is not based on that cubic structure alone as everyone including the hadithers will attest to the fact that it is a man made building.
Generally pillars are for supporting the roof of any building. My Point is, why have three pillars in a square looking structure -\ they could easily had 2 or four pillars for better support or maybe 6 but why choose those odd 3 pillars ???

and The Quran mentions about 3 odd deities ! Is this a coincidence ?? or a well planned scheme to continue worshipping those three pagan deities 200-300 years after the death of Prophet Mohammed as in the case of Hadiths and fiqh ???

          Regards,

          Salaam,

I will get back to you on this soon with my understanding inshaAllah. Sorry, no time now. -[

            Peace be upon you )

Friends , I have a strange feeling about Kabah from sometime now, that either by coincidence or by scheme we have three pillars inside the kaabah in Mecca. what is strange about those three pillars is they are not placed an equal distance from one another.

Again it might be a conscience but The Quran mentioned Al-lat , Al-Uzzah and Manaat, the three female deities of pagans. ( the hadithers claim that their were 360 something idols in Kabah before the voctroy of Mecca)

And given the history of many rebuilding of Kabah, the details of which can be found in below copied link, I suspect that this guys (pagans) are taking millions of innocent muslim on bumpy ride of worshipping those three deities in the name of Bait Allah.

I'm curious for your comments and insight into this conspiracy ( if it is one)

            http//www.missionislam.com/knowledge/kaaba.htm

KAABA = the structure of the governance of a state, a city or even the world

1- the supreme house ( where the laws and rules ( QAWAIID ) are risen
            2 - the supreme court
3 - the Governance ( some countries calls it PRESIDENT, some Prime minister, but they all agree that he is the guide/Leader)
4 - , the grades ( in US it's called pentagone, in france ministry of defence, etc.. but the all calls it GRADES )

Kaaba = Republic , not a 4 walls building, but a pyramidal rule of governance in the world, any copuntry, 4 authorities and not 3 like mentionned by most countries, aven though, they all, modern states has 4 authorities ( they say 3 , ignoring their true military leaders, to not honor the rule of 4 , ISLAM based on 4 and not 5 , and it is a conduct of a state and not a sect)

                Peace,

That is an alleged second door of Kabah made by Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr .

Construction after the Prophet's Time - Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr

The Syrian army destroyed the kaaba in Muharram 64 (Hijri date) and before the next Hajj Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr, may Allah be pleased with him, reconstructed the kaaba from the ground up.

Ibn az-Zubayr wanted to make the kaaba how the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) wanted it, on the foundation of the Prophet Ibrahim. Ibn az-Zubayr said, "I heard Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) say, The Prophet (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said "If your people had not quite recently abandoned the Ignorance (Unbelief), and if I had sufficient provisions to rebuild it , I would have added five cubits to it from the Hijr. Also, I would make two doors; one for people to enter therein and the other to exit." (Bukhari).

Ibn az-Zubayr said, "Today, I can afford to do it and I do not fear the people. Ibn az-Zubayr built the kaaba on Prophet Ibrahim's foundation. He put the roof on three pillars with the wood of Aoud (a perfumed wood with aroma which is traditionally burned to get a good smell out of it in Arabia).

In his construction he put two doors, one facing the east the other facing the west, as the Prophet (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) wanted but did not do in his lifetime. He rebuilt the kaaba on the Prophet Ibrahim's foundation, which meant that the Hateem area was included. The Hateem is the area adjacent to the kaaba enclosed by a low semi-circular wall.

Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr also made the following additions and modifications
Put a small window close to the roof of the kaaba to allow for light.
Moved the door of the kaaba to ground level and added a second door to the kaaba.
Added nine cubits to the height of the kaaba, making it twenty cubits high.
Iits walls were two cubits wide.
Reduced the pillars inside the House to three instead of six as were earlier built by Quraish.
For reconstruction, ibn az-Zubayr put up four pillars around the kaaba and hung cloth over them until the building was completed. People began to do Tawaf around these pillars at all times, so Tawaf of the kaaba was never abandoned, even during reconstruction.

Then again histroy records that another guy undid those changes

During Abdul Malik bin Marwan's time in 74 Hijri (or 693 according to the Gregorian calendar), Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf al-Thaqafi, the known tyrant of that time, with the approval of Umayyad Khalifa Abdul Malik bin Marwan, demolished what Ibn az-Zubayr had added to it from the older foundation of Prophet Ibrahim, and restored its old structure as the Quraish had had it.

Some of the changes he made were the following
He rebuilt it in the smaller shape which is found today
                Took out the Hateem
Walled up the western door (whose signs are still visible today) and left the rest as it was
Pulled down the wall in the Hateem area.
Removed the wooden ladder Ibn az-Zubayr had put inside the kaaba.
Reduced the door's height by five cubits
When Abdul Malik bin Marwan came for Umra and heard the hadith that it was the wish of the Prophet (s.a.w.) for the kaaba to be constructed the way
Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr had built it, he regretted his actions.

I suggest you read the full article in the following link to get an idea about the histroy of Kabah constructions after the death of Prophet Mohammed.

                  Dear Masoomboy

I have read that article - among others - over a dozen times. There is something here that needs to be pointed out. The Muslims are always looking for any shred of evidence proving the existence of their cubic idol since before the Christian Age, but until now, they have failed miserably to produce it. Interestingly, the link you posted refers to a statement made by Edward Gibbons concenring an ancient temple that the Arabs used to venerate since before the Christian era. Here is the quote

..... of blind mythology of barbarians - of the local deities, of the stars, the air, and the earth, of their sex or titles, their attributes or subordination. Each tribe, each family, each independent warrier, created and changed the rites and the object of this fantastic worship; but the nation, in every age, has bowed to the religion as well as to the language of Mecca. The genuine antiquity of Caaba ascends beyond the Christian era in describing the coast of the Red sea the Greek historian Diodorus has remarked, between the Thamudites and the Sabeans, a famous temple, whose superior sanctity was revered by all the Arabians; the linen of silken veil, which is annually renewed by the Turkish emperor, was first offered by the Homerites, who reigned seven hundred years before the time of Mohammad.

Note the sentence outlined in bold. Diodorus, who wrote of teh period between 60 B.C and 30 B.C was descibing a temple that lay near the Red Sea Coast, between THAMUD and SABA. This cannot be teh so-called "Makkah" of Hijaz known today, because both Thamudis and Sabeans were in YEMEN. Diodorus was describing a SOUTH ARABIAN place of worship. It was Gibbons who mistakenly assumed it was the "Caabah" (as he called it) of the Hijaz.

                  Peace...

                        Salaam MB,

It may not be the coincidence.

                        2130
2130 Have those who disbelieved not seen that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them
and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

Red part Used the word yara, that means something can be seen by research.
Blue part First point made for kafirs to yara that the heavens and the earth were joined entity and We separated them.
Green part Second point made for kafirs to yara that everything was make living from water.
Navy part After seeing that by their research, they are asked, will they not believe?

When we understand this point that yara means something can be seen and confirmed on basis of research. We will come back to our topic now about three pillars.

                        5319
5319 So have you seen al-Laata and al-'Uzza?

                        5320
5320 And Manat, the third - the other one?

Please note that 5319 used a derivative of yara - . This means, they can be researched and seen all three of those feminine idols. If they are not available today, why it is said afara-ayytum means so have YOU seen?

I don't understand why 5320 used al-ukhra means the other one. Does that means, third is not with those two? hmm May be, may Allah forgive me if I am mistaken.

I always wonder why they use this odd figures 3 pillars inside so called Kaaba, 3 pillars outside named Satan, 7 circles around Kaaba, 7 pebbles to be thrown on Satan pillars, 7 circles to be made between Safa and Marwa. hmm From where they got this odd numbers 3 and 7?

7 circles around fire in Hindu weddings, 7 blessings were given while circling around fire, 7 days in a week has a special significance and is apportioned to one or more Hindu gods or goddesses, and may be many more.

About number 3, many world religions contain triple deities or concepts of trinity, including
                        the Christian Holy Trinity
                        the Hindu Trimurti
                        the Hindu Tridevi
                        the Three Jewels of Buddhism
the Three Pure Ones of Taoism
                        the Triple Goddess of Wicca

So, why these people in Makkah chose those two odd figures 3 and 7? Are these people influenced by other religions?

May Allah protect us from all kinds of Shirk and guide us to His true path pr

                          Peace MMK & Pazuzu )

I personally think that If Prophet Mohammed was from Mecca and If the 'real Islam' prevailed during his and his companions time as mentioned in history then I'm 110% sure that no Prophet of Allah will allow/ask his people/nation to worship a stone cube and most probably the prophet and his companions must have destroyed the OLD pagan stone cube.
and it was really easy for the pagan to make a new one or rebuild the destroyed cube house under the guise of a hadith that prophet Mohammed always wanted to make the kabah as it was made by prophet Ibrahim ?

I mean, when those guys can sell more than a million hadith and sunnah" Saying" to billion people for more than 1000 years then how hard it could be to sell one stone cube as a bayt Allah, Qibla, etc??

It is interesting to note that Nabateans had represented Gods in various geomatrical shapes.

                              Peace Shumali,

Thanks for the link. I found a very interesting piece of article.

                              Development of the Ka'ba

Ancient cities often had many temples where worship was offered to different Gods. Tourists love to move from one temple to another in these ancient cities. (There were a number of temples in the ancient city of Petra.) While these temples were impressive, this was not the case in smaller towns and villages. Smaller, poorer centers could not afford to build one temple, let alone a series of temples to various Gods. This presented a problem when the people worshiped a pantheon of Gods. The solution was to develop a Ka'aba, or a local spot that was considered holy. Into this holy place all religious objects were gathered and put on display. In this way, a person could move around the Ka'ba, and pray before whatever god he or she chose. The worshiper could also walk in a circle around the Ka'ba, praying to all of the gods in succession.

The Ka'ba practice of the Middle East came to an end when Mohammed, the founder of Islam declared that Allah was more powerful than the other gods. His followers then went around the country destroying city temples and village Ka'bas, and elevating Allah, until he became the sole God, and thus a monotheistic religion was born.

                              To All,
Any comments or insight into this theory ??

                                To All,
Any comments or insight into this theory ??

buttom line is The temple was used by ancient arabs to worship their Gods, and modern day arabs now claim to worship their ''god'' in the same place. It can be compared to if the hindus began to worship only ''Krishna'' in their temples. By the way, i dont see anything ''monotheistic'' about it, they are basically worshipping the kaaba like hindus worship in their temples.

                                Peace
