I am new here. for many yrs I was confused that y I found hadeth so absurd. I used to wonder am I the only one. but now it is nice to know ppl like me exist. but now after going through many quranists sites I have got more confused.....coz now every religious act is maligned. n every doubt raised w.r.t. those acts result in angered backlash. I am from India Hyderabad n ppl here r soo sensitive on these issues. now a bigger problem is getting married. I know it sounds stupid, but once u start raising questions n ur belief system changes getting married to hadith followers is impossible. n being a girl following different stuff gets more difficult. already my parents r troubled by me n my beliefs splly when I ask hundreds of questions on every religious act and they follow them without knowing answers. image how things will be with husband n inlaws. hmmI even don't know how to pray now. how many times to pray. more so what to read while I am praying. every site has their own no. of prayers n way of praying. I decided to pray the way I do but then I came across a site which raised question on the word Ameen. although I am certain that Quran is word of god n hadeeth are fabrication, there r few things which needs to be sorted out n salah is one of them.
btw it is gr8 to know u all. wonder how u guys are dealing with these issues confused.

Regarding prayer, here is my take don't worry about ritual. ALLAH has no need from you, from me, nor from any/all of creation. Pray regularly in any way that you wish.
Regarding a spouse, focus on finding a monotheist, regardless of what "religion" they claim. Of course, a prospective spouse should otherwise be suitable for you, and you for he. ISA, a good solution will present itself.
Have you requested help from ALLAH? Ask for what ALLAH knows to be best, and to accept ALLAH's Will.
2856 You cannot guide whom you love. But it is GOD who guides whom He wills; and He is fully aware of those who receive the guidance.
4133 And who is better in saying than he who invites to GOD, and does good works, and says "I am one of those who have submitted."

I know how you feel...and most people here do too. I will give you the advice that others gave me It will take time. Yes, you will see a lot of discussions with differing opinions, but don't fret! As you study the Qu'ran more, you will begin to make your own decisions based on it's true teachings. Don't be afraid to ask questions either. There are lots of knowledgeable people here...use them as a reference to help you understand things a little better.
The hardest part will be making your own decisions based on what you learn. It will feel strange at first.
May Allah guide you on the straight path.

thank you all for ur advice......I did pray Allah for rightly guided husband....so I am sure my prayers will be answered positively.....actually by now I should have been married n hav kids...like most of my friends....but I believe that Allah has saved me from getting a Sunni husband.....likewise he will find me a right husband.....
my problem is that I have never met ny one who share my reli gious views......recently in my office when casually I said that we can touch n read Quran all the times n there is no restriction on girls to stay away from it during specific days.....I immediately had to deal with 5 to 6 girls asking me 100 questions...n despite answering them correctly they concluded that I am misleading others....some even went to my friends n asked them to avoid me
despite all that my friends r still my friends....they know that I hav diffrent views....they listen to me....but they don't want to leave their ways....but this episode was not all that ugly....because of it I came to know abt ppl who share similar views....the way I found u all...I will find my husband....
as far as praying is concerned....whatever way I do I am sure Allah knows I am praying him alone so how I pray, I mean physical movements make no difference....but it dosent mean I will do as I like forever....I mean I really want to know right way n right time of doing it.....but it will take time n lot of research....till then I will be confused coz I always believe that one should doubt...unless u doubt and question ur beliefs n rituals u will never know truth....Abraham doubted his fathers ways.....only then he was able to find true god....sadly not many like to ask questions

this my first post or reply, though i have been around this forum for 3 or 4 years and helped me to take the decision which i believe is right.
I do not have to many opinions and seek n try to stick to guidance of Almighty Allah.
I strongly felt the need to physically meet up and fill up the social void among ourselves ( God Alone Believers) more often wherever possible. I for one would be a dream come if such things start happening in wherever we stay. -

Abraham prayed to God to TEACH him his religion in 2128, so Pray to God for guidance.

Pray the way you want. There is nothing wrong with ameen or even praising the prophet in your salat. Some Quranist want to follow a ritual but that is OK too. Take the Quranic verses as a guidance and as long as you are not violating them. There is no right way to pray. This started because of the Islamic background many Quranist come from. We have standard rituals and we got used to praying and worshiping that way. Rituals are a means to an end and not an end by themselves.

I admit that in the beginning it's confusing what is correct and what not but inshaAllah everything will be clear to you.
The way you do your sallaat now is correct, just keep on updating yourself in the best way when knowledge comes to you.
It will take some time to understand. This time is also needed because it is impossible to change everything from one to another day.You will inshaAllah see that Allah wil relief you from your burden the more you study.
Just hold strong to The Book Allah gave you and follow what He inspires to you.Salaam,
