Why do many Muslims hate Jews?

Imho, the primary reason is what happens in Israel.

Feel free to research human rights groups on the internet to see what they say about what is happening in Israel.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

True but there is a difference between a Jew and the Israeli government and its supporters.

        Peace,

Well, you must also remember the Israeli Gov, and it's supporters are primarily Jews, hence the difficulty in separating supporters from Non-supporters.

        Peace

This is approximately the Quranic view. The 'in the world' label 'jew' has no meaning in the Quranic sense.

"muslims" do not hate anyone "muslims" are men and women of peace.

Well Kyle, I think there's one circumstance where 'bughd'/hate is used

There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and HATRED for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone" But not when Abraham said to his father "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed) "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance to Thee is (our) Final Goal (60/4)

This is not blind hatred however. This is a hatred due to the acts of thier people (60/8-9)

Do people hate the Saudi government and its supporters (an example) as much as they hate the Jews? Probably not and even if they did they don't go on about it half as much do they?

                    Salaam,
They hate Jews because "everyone else is doing it" just like they worship scholars and imams and do silly rituals because everyone else is doing it. They are nothing more than sheep blindly following others and each one has a different explanation for why they hate Jews. In the end, it all boils down to blatant racism.
I was reading the story about Moses' people following him out of Egypt and disobeying him and worshipping the golden calf. While to those who do not understand the Quran, it might seem an anti Jewish book, if you think closely about it, it was referring to the people of MOSES, and not to ALL Jewish people on this earth today and since the time the Quran was revealed. So those so called Muslims who read Quran and say that it says "We're supposed to hate Jews," I think that's where they get their warped ideas from. But in my interpretation, it's referring to a small group of people who disobeyed God's orders at the time. And the Muslims today twist it to mean all Jews of all times. Of course many will use the blame game at any time to suit their desires and make themselves feel better about themselves.
There is plenty of remarks about how "bad" the Jews were in Leviticus in the Bible also. Christians will often say, "Why do you Muslims hate Jews so much?" Of course, I do not hate Jews and I ask them, "Why do you have anti Jewish verses in the Bible?" To that they say, "Oh well that's in the OldTestament. LOL lol

                      Peace be upon you,

Its been quite some time I visited this forum back. This topic especially interested me because I never quite understood as to why so many Muslims simply hate Jews.

When I first came to the United States from Switzerland, my cousins living here took me to the downtown and I assume there were several Jewish temples and communites in that area because as we rode in the car, all I saw were Jewish men with long beards, nicely dressed and their women in skirts, etc.

My cousins told me look those are Jews, they are our mortal enemies and I asked why and they said because the Jews were the ones who caused Muhammed so much trouble in his lifetime and they were the ones who sold Jesus and of course, the ones who gave God a lot of trouble.

I think it is as absurd as it can get to label a group of people as being "bad" based on no clear assumption. My best friend is a Jew and he is the nicest man I've seen in my life. I work around Jews and every single time they bring something to the office, they share it with me and tell me that it doen't have pork in it because they don't eat it either. God tells us in the Koran that even if an idol worshipper offers us peace, we should not mock him/her and tell them they are not believers. Then, why such ignorance?

                          Peace,

Lets get down to the core issue, does your Jewish Freind support the State of Israel/Zionism though political affiliations/donations, Yes or NO?

If yes, then indeed your friend/s has a right to be hated by anyone who understands the concept of Justice(espeically those who feel the brunt of the injustice).

If no, then your friend/s hase a right to defend himself from the blind hatred that is directed at him just because of his race.

                          Peace

And remain steadfast in the face of their utterances, and disregard them in a nice manner

according to God we could not hate them peace

                              Peace,

According to The God, we should not hate the believers who might call themselves Jews, Christians or Whatever, however these verses have nothing to do with the unbelieving, Jews, Christians, or whatever, since they are not righteous, thus inevitably they will/do cause corruption in the earth.

Therefore, I am more than confident that The God supports the position of a believer hating someone who causes mischeif on earth, be they Jews, Christians, "muslims", or whatever.

                              Peace
