THE BIBLE NAMES AND YEMEN
-
PEACE TO ALL
I must mention that Adam and Eve's grave is in Saudi-Arabia and jews and christian pilgrims visited it up until the first world war. But the arabs did not want the pilgrims in their land and so they closed their land for pilgrims after the first world war. And I must add that many place-names in the old books have not been found in today's Israel, and even those who is, is all at the wrong locations compared to each others and in the wrong landscape when one follows the description of the landscape in the bible. Add to this that any archeologic findings older than 2500 years in todays Israel does not prove anything other than that there lived someone there and that the jews know that the 'tombs' (that most often is empty) that exist of people from the Old Testament is all false.
Todays Israel was settled in this way;
In 721 BC the Assyrian ruler Sargon II invaded and destroyed the Vest Arabic kingdom 'Israel' and moved the main population as prisoners to Persia.
In 586 BC the Babylonian ruler Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Vest Arabic kingdom 'Juda' and took with him its judic population as prisoners to Babylon.
Thus there was so many Jews in this new area (for the jews when they were released) that they founded cities with names after those in their old Vest Arabic homes. The Jews left back in Arabia started using the expressions 'daughter of Zion' and 'daughter of Jerusalem' (to differensiate them from the the old Zion and Jerusalem) and they were full of hope for this New Jerusalem and Israel and many from the old arabic lands moved to the new. They also made songs of the new lands praise.
So where can one look for the ancient Israel, David and Solomons Israel? We can start with looking for the mountain Seir ( s'yr). It exist even today in the name Asir ('sr or 'syr) in Saudi Arabia. s'yr and 'syr, you all can see the alike names. Actually in this 200 by 600 km2 area (Asir) we can find all the biblical place names, even those who does not exist in today's Israel. And the areas in Arabia fit the descriptions according to the old testament.

Ia-ma-nu (ymn) in Ia-mu (ym) - this refer to the people in the south (the biblical 'Benjaminites' wich did not live in the sea (ym) but in the territory of Yam (ym) between Wadi Najran and the open desert.Gerar
Gerar from Genesis 10 is not the same as in Genesis 20, 26 or 2 Chronicles 14.
Genesis 10; grr m/'zh is Al 'Azzah in Ballahmar.
Chronicles 439 ; is Godor (gdr), today the village Ghadr (gdr), Jizan.
The other 'Gerar' is al-Qararah.Below is only the most relevant verses from the book Bible that needs to be changed regarding place names. My comments between stars *
11 In the beginning God created heaven and earth.
12 The earth was without form and empty, with darkness on the face of the depths, but God's spirit moved on the water's surface.- hsk 'l pny thwm should be translated as ; "The earth was desolate and empty, and darkness on the face of Tihamah". Wich is a town name. Arabia is largly a desert and Asir is mountain so the old translation of darkness over a deep water must be wrong.*
28 God planted a garden in Eden to the east. There He placed the man that He had formed.
- 'dn (Eden) still exist under this very name as 'Adanah ('dn) *
- gnyn (garden) is actually a placename; Junaynah near 'Adanah *
- Junaynah - gnyn, diminutive of gn, cf. hebrew gn, garden *
- so this line should be; 28 El 'Olam founded ('planted' Junaynah with 'Adanah to the east. *
29 God made grow out of the ground every tree that is pleasant to look at and good to eat, the Tree of Life in the middle of the garden, and the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil.
- hyym = the town Al Hiyah ('l hy = God of Life) *
- d'h = the town Al Da'yah ('l d'y = God of Knowledge) *
- so this El 'Olam founded the towns Junaynah, Al Hiyah and Al Da'yah, where people worshipped these God of Life and Knowledge *
210 A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden. From there it divided and became four major rivers.
211 The name of the first is Pishon. It surrounds the entire land of Havilah where gold is found.- We are still in Saudi Arabia so it isn't Pishon but Shufan (spn) *
- and its not Havilah but Hawalah (hwlh) *
- and here we find carnelian and Meccan balsam *
212 The gold of that land is good. Also found there are pearls and precious stones.
213 The name of the second river is Gihon. It surrounds the land of Cush.- gyhwn is not Gihon but Wadi Juhan (ghn) (a part of Wadi Bishah) *
- and not Cush but Kuthah (kwt) *
214 The name of the third river is the Tigris which flows to the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
- hdql Hiddekel in Hebrew, can not be Tigris as that is h-dql. The name have survived in the village Al Jahdal (ghdl) and the rivers name now is Wadi Tindahah *
- 'swr is not Assyria but Bani Thawr (twr) *
- prt is not Euphrates but Wadi Kharif *
215 God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to work it and watch it.
- wich means Adam and Eve never was in Eden ('Adanah) but in Junaynah. *
324 He drove away the man, and stationed the cherubim at the east of Eden, along with the revolving sword blade, to guard the path of the Tree of Life.
- cherubim; the town al-Qarban (qrbn), compared to the hebrew h-krbym (priests). *
- This seems to mean that God put priests to guard the way to the 'tree' of life (God of Life). These priests existed until islam took Arabia; they were defeated by the muslims and so the 'cherubim' or the priests guarding the knowledge of life is extinct. *
416 Cain went out from before God's presence. He settled in the land of Nod, to the east of Eden.
- Nod (nwd)= verb nwd= become homeless, wander without goal. East of Wadi Bishah is the desert separating Asir from sentral Arabia*
1014 the Pathrusim and the Casluchim (from whom the Philistines descended) and the Caphtorim.
- plstym is not the Philistines but Falsah (plst) in Wadi Bishah *
Descendants of Canaan
- the land of the Canaanites (Al Kun'an) was the area al Zaydan, Ghurayrah, Al 'Azzah, Wadi Damis, Ghamr,
al-Dumah, al-Zabyah and al-'Ashshah *
1015 Canaan fathered Sidon (his firstborn) and Heth,
1016 as well as the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,
1017 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
1018 the Arvadites, the Tzemarites, and the Chamathites. Later the families of the Canaanites became scattered.
1019 The Canaanite borders extended from Sidon toward Gerar until Gaza, and toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah
and Tzevoyim, until Lasha.
1020 These are the descendants of Ham, according to their families and languages, by their lands and nations.- sydn is not Sidon but Al Zaydan (zydn)
- 'zh is not Gaza but Al 'Azzah in the Ballahmar area
- 'sdm (Sodom) is Wadi Damis (dms) north of Jabal 'Akwah
- 'mrh (Gomorrah) is Ghamr (gmr)
- 'dmh (Admah) is al-Dumah (dmh)
- ls' (Lasha) is al-'Ashshah ('l-'s) *
1128 Haran died during the lifetime of his father Terach, in the land of his birth, Ur Casdim.
1129 Abram and Nachor married. The name of Abram's wife was Sarai. The name of Nachor's wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran (who was the father of Milcah and Yiscah).
1130 Sarai was sterile; she had no children.
1131 Terach took his son Abram, his grandson Lot (Haran's son), and his daughter-in-law Sarai (Abram's wife). With them, he left Ur Casdim, heading toward the land of Canaan. They came as far as Charan and settled there.
1132 All of Terach's days were 205 years, and Terach died in Charan.- 'wr ksdym (Ur Casdim) is Waryah (wry) in Wadi Adam
- hrn (Charan/Karan/Haran) is Khayran (hyrn)
126 Abram traveled through the land as far as the area of Shechem, coming to the Plain of Moreh. The Canaanites were then in the land.
- skm (Shechem) is al-Kashmah (ksm) in Rijal Alma'
127 God appeared to Abram and said, 'I will give this land to your off-spring.' built an altar there to God who had appeared to him.
128 From there, moved on to the mountains east of Bethel. He set up his tent with Bethel to the West and Ai to the east. He built an altar there and called in God's name.
129 Abram then continued on his way, moving steadily toward the south.
msrym is not Egypt but Mi- byt'l (Bethel) is Batilah (btl)
Troubles
1210 There was a famine in the land. Abram headed south to Egypt to stay there for a while, since the famine had grown very severe in the land.
- msrym is not Egypt but Misramah (msrm) at Abha
1211 As they approached Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, 'I realize that you are a good-looking woman.
1212 When the Egyptians see you, they will assume that you are my wife and kill me, allowing you to live.
1213 If you would, say that you are my sister. They will then be good to me for your sake, and through your efforts, my life will be spared.'
1214 When Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that his wife was very beautiful.
1215 Pharaoh's officials saw her, and spoke highly of her to Pharaoh. The woman was taken to Pharaoh's palace.- pr'h is not Pharaoh. It is both the name of an West-Arabic God in Misranah and Masr, and a tribe that even today is named Far'a (pr' in Wadi Bishah
131 Abram headed northward to the Negev along with his wife and all that was his, including Lot.
132 Abram was very rich, with livestock, silver and gold.
133 He continued on his travels, from the Negev toward Bethel, until the place where he originally had his tent, between Bethel and Ai,- Negeb = al-Naqb (nqb)
- Bethel is Batilah (btl)
- Ai is al-Ghayy (gy) (hebraic h-'y)
1310 Lot looked up and saw that the entire Jordan Plain, all the way to Tzoar had plenty of water. (This was before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) It was like God's own garden, like the land of Egypt.
1311 Lot chose for himself the entire Jordan Plain. He headed eastward, and the two separated.
1312 Abram lived in the land of Canaan, while Lot dwelt in the cities of the Plain, having migrated as far as Sodom.- kkr h-yrdn (Jordan Plain) is al-Naqb (nqb)
- sht (l-pny sht) is Shakhit (sht) in Jabal Bani Malik
- Sodom and Gomorrah = Wadi Damis and Ghamr, Egypt = Misramah
- new translation of 1310 to 12 ;
- And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw that all of al-Naqb was irrigated in the direction of Shakhit, it is beside Wadi Damis and Ghamr. It is like a garden, like the land of Misramah in the direction of al-Sa'ra'. So Lot chose for himself all of al-Naqb and Lot journeyed from Ghamad (qdm='the spring of Ghamad'.
- Lot dwelt in the caves of the kkr (kkr=circle and is possibly an expression used for a circle of mountains around an area or town. In this case probably circle of Raydan) and set up camp as far as Wadi Damis.
1318 Abram moved on. He came and settled in the Plains of Mamre, in Hebron, and there he built an altar to God.
- mmr' (Mamre) = Namirah (nmr) and hbrwn (Hebron) = Khirban (hrbn), both in Qunfudhah
- 'bry (hebrew), a man who live in the woods. A woodsman.
- Al al-Ghabaran ('l gbrn) 'God of the woods' is the same as 'lhy h-'brym 'God of the Hebrews'
141 It was around this time that Amraphel king of Shinar, Ariokh king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goyim
142 waged war against Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinav king of Admah, Shemever king of Tzevoyim, and the king of Bela (now Tzoar).- Admah=al-Dumah, Tzevoyim/Zeboiim (sbym, dual or plural of sby) = the two towns al-Zabyah (zby) and Sabya (sby', hebraic sby; gaselle)
146 and the Horites in the hill country of Seir, as far as Eyl Paran, which borders the desert.
- Seir = Asir
1414 When Abram heard that his kinsman had been taken captive, he called out all his 318 fighting men who had been born in his house. He hurried after , catching up with them in Dan.
- dn (Dan) = Duwaniyah, Danaywi OR Dandan (all 3 dn, more investigation is needed to find out wich one it is)
1418 Malkhi-tzedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine. He was a priest to God, the Most High.
-
this should be ;
-
1418 And the king of Al Salamah brought forth food, bread and wine. He was a priest for El 'Elyon.
-
in the hebrew text the name Melkisedek/Malkhi-tzedek does not exist. Mlky sdq (141 and mkl (1420) refer to food, not a persons name!
1419 He blessed , and said, 'Blessed be Abram to God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth.
1420 And blessed be God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.' gave him a tenth of everything.-
this should be ;
-
1420 And blessed be El 'Elyon, who delivered your enemies into your hand.' Then the king of Al Salamah gave Abram (ten) portions (food).
-
the translaters have read "m'sr mkl" as "m'sr m-kl" meaning 'tenth of everything'. But m'sr means 'tenth', ten portions and portions. Abram won the day and this king wanted to give Abram food for the victory selebration.
1614 She therefore named the oasis, 'Oasis to Life my Vision' (Be'er LaChai Ro'i). It is between Kadesh and Bered.
- Not a Vision God, but Seeing God. So the oasis got the name Lachai Ro'i because of the gods name; El Ro'i (seeing god). This oasis have developed into a town named Al Rahwah (wich is the arabic version).
171 Abram was 99 years old. God appeared to him and said, 'I am God Almighty. Walk before Me and be perfect.
- God Almighty = El Shaddai (hebrew) = Al Sadi (arabic) and Al Sadi is a town...
Esra, 2
31, of the other Elam-family 1254 ('ylm 'hr) is actually 2 neightbouring towns; Wadi al-'Alma ('lm) and Wadi Yahar (yhr) at Zahran.
correction; 31, of Wadi al-'Alma and Wadi Yahar 125436, h-khnym can not be the plural of the hebraic khn (priest), because that would mean that one of 10 men is a priest.
khnym must be read as the plural of khny, the genitive of khn as a place name, wich would mean 'the people from khn'. khnym= the oasis Qahwan (qhwn, or qhn, the arabic way to write khn) in Wadi Najran.
correction; 36, "People from Qahwan from Jedaja-family, descendant of Josva, 937"41, h-msrrym is not the singers but Massarrah (msr or msrr) in the district of Bariq.
42, h-s'rym is not the gateguardians but Sha'ariyah (s'ry) in the Taif district.
43, ntynym is not the templeservants but Tanatin (tntn) in the Jizan district.
55 and 58, 'bdy slmh is not Salomos servants but the name of two neightbouring towns; 'Abdan ('bdn) and Silamah (slmh) in the Jizan district.
Gods names
In the hebrew bible is Al Salamah, Al 'Alyan and Al al-A'lam identified with the Israelic god Yahweh.
'All Powerful God' = El Shaddai (hebrew) is a name that still exist in the arabic town Al Sadi.
'Allseeing God' = El Ro'i (hebrew) = Al Rahwah.
the Yahweh of Sabyat = al-Sabayat, a townname meaning gazelle.
Al Jabbar and Abu al-Id is identified as the name of the Israelic Messiah.
Kanaans God = Al Kun'an ('l kn'n)http//www.faithfreedom.org/forum/index.php

Peace be to you as well.
Has there ever been found any archaeological evidence of this? -
Peace Youssef
The greatest archaeological evidence is the Quran itself, if you believe, and soon it shall be presented to you on this forum if Allah permits. The truth which is hidden under the heap of lies will be unearthed by the will of Allah. Have patience. A new dawn will appear with the true Islam.

The Nation reports
In one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Jeddah lies a legend as old as time itself and one that is crumbling away into oblivion - the tomb of biblical Eve. As the holy month of Ramadan enters its final days, some Saudi families in Jeddah will be visiting the graves of their loved ones as part of their Eid tradition that revolves around love, joy and kinship - with one particular mother remembered along with the rest. "My mother's grave lies in the same cemetery as that of the mother of all humanity, Hawa ," said Sami Nawar, the general director for culture and tourism in Jeddah. For the sceptics, there is an actual sign marking "Our Mother Eve" graveyard hanging on the main green metallic gate of one of the oldest cemeteries of Jeddah in the heart of the Al Balad neighbourhood. Mr Nawar is from one of hundreds of Saudi families that have relatives buried in "mother Eve's graveyard", and he takes it upon himself to inform Saudi visitors to this site, keeping the "legend" alive even in the absence of scientific proof. "Famous Arab travellers like Ibn Battuta and historians that have passed through here hundreds of years ago and even some of Prophet Mohammed's companions have made reference to Eve's tomb in this area," said Mr Nawar, who explains that the name of the city itself - Jeddah - if pronounced a certain way, means "grandmother". "And who is the grandmother of everyone?" he said, unable to hide his enthusiasm for the legend."If it is a lie, then it is a thousands of years old lie," he said. Mr Nawar figures the tomb was 120 metres long, three metres wide and six metres high - that is before it began to fall apart through the centuries. "It is a shame, all we have now is its location, the main gate and stories of its existence," he said, dating the last pieces of the tomb's skeleton to the 1920s. The common legend that Eve was more than a 100 metres tall is unlikely, according to Mr Nawar, who said he has an old photo showing that inside the large tomb was an average-sized tomb. "I am still researching this, it is hard given that there is no one alive who remembers the tomb as it was ," he said. The Quran, like the Bible and Torah, tells the story of Adam and Eve and how they were expelled from Paradise after disobeying God by eating the forbidden fruit. There is no mention of where they ended up on earth, but according to Arab tradition, it is believed that Adam and Eve led separate lives. Adam went to Makka, 70km away from Jeddah, where God ordered him to build the Kaaba, the sacred black rock that Muslims around the world face during their five daily prayers; while it appears Eve lived in the area known now as Jeddah, the entry point for pilgrims heading to Makka.Anyway wish you good luck but as Yousaf said archaelogical proof is very important.
