    Grand Qur'aan The Truth-bearer;
Primary Source of Information and Evidence

People talk and talk, either truthfully or falsely. Elite, the holders of power in a society using their coteries psychological manipulators, the clergy-religious scholars, on the other hand, construct and disperse false but fascinating assertions. These are popularized by lower hierarchy of clergy and pseudo intellectuals whom it serves as if it were fidelity cards. Many might do it naively in the first instance, thereafter, finding attraction of people around them, they too start perceiving it as "truth".

What is then the source-criterion to verify the truthfulness, veracity, and accuracy of a statement or otherwise sift falsity, opinionated dispersed conjectures held as so called "truths"?

The Talmud gives salvation to the Jewish tribe only. It claims that Jews (Israelites) can only be punished for a certain amounts of time. The Quran is countering that argument that it violates the Old Testament teachings regarding salvation. Also the Gospel does not follow how many Christians understand salvation. Muslims did the same with their Sunnah (5 pillars of Islam etc).

Evidence should be brought forward from scriptures.

        What? I'm confused?

are you saying people intentionally falsify things for the sake of the attraction of crowds?? if so I don't entirely agree.

The source to justify statements would be to study them? to see if they are coherent or not? how else do you presume?
        ..

Bigmo saying there is one God, salat, zakat, sawm, hajj all exist in the Quran but of course the Quran is a lot more than that. The way you understand these terms might be different however they still exist in the Quran.

The concepts held by Traditional Islam w.r.t. salah, sawm, hajj and umrah were designed to disable powerful tools in Quran which would undermine all forms of oppression.

            Salamun alaiki,

I did not say this. Every statement articulated and communicated to others is either true, false or opinionated which does not rise to level of truth at given point in time. Those who intentionally do it are qualified as "Elite, the holders of power in a society using their coteries psychological manipulators, the clergy-religious scholars, on the other hand, construct and disperse false but fascinating assertions."
Shait'aan was the first who did this. Now his brothers amongst human beings do it, and quite frequently and enormously, as told in the Qur'aan.

              Walaikum Asalam Mazhar

              Sorry I misunderstood.

People either talk truthfully or falsify. Yes. Yet, some times people are unaware of their falsifications.

Traditionalists are not against reading the Quran nor understanding it. There are many resources about it. In fact their primary source of understanding Quran FIRSTLY is Quran by Quran.

abdalquran people are oppressed by their own beliefs because of their own selves. I don't blame traditionalist scholars/literature. The individual is accountable for themselves. no one is stopping them from reflecting, reading or studying etc. So really people oppress their own minds whether they realise it or not.

I don't see how salah, sawm, hajj and umrah could disable any powerful tools in the Quran. But rather people's reluctance to understand their purpose, their duties etc disables.

I wish it were so. When I see in the real works, it seems that this "slogan" was selected just to appease and satisfy their audience. Start scrolling from the first to the last exegeses, nowhere one finds Qur'aan by Qur'aan. I wish someone could tell me a work which actually describes Qur'aan by Qur'aan.

Understanding Quran always started by reflecting on the Quran and the words.

Exegesis wasn't the first form of understanding Quran. In fact, exegesis roughly started 2nd century islam.

Tafsir with hadith were only documented later in time.

unfortunately I cant get my hands on the most earliest source of tafsir. I think it would def be interesting to see the range of exegeses and comparing them to the current approved ones by mainstream muslims.

BRING YOUR PROOF IF YOUR ARE TRUTHFUL!
Need proof/evidence. No to blind faith.

Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for God. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders." (657)
