Well , my two cents worth.....

    1. "standing of Abraham" the quran says to take up the standing of Abraham - be Righteous.

concuction - stand on the footprint of Abraham by the Kaaba to pray?
they have even made a foot print of Abraham, but it is enclosed in a glass tomb, so you can't actualy stand on it.

    1. The qibla changed from being thugs and evil doers to the straight way given in the quran

    http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9604403.msg308449#msg308449

concuction - they actualy built two walls in the qiblatain mosque so people will see and think it was a physical change from Jerusalem to Mecca.

    nope
    Have you any?

The Quran states, at least in the Hafs reading, that you MAY take the place of abraham AS A PLACE of doing salat (e.g a mosque)

where does it say anything about salaat?

"Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance for the nations. In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any need of the worlds." S. 396-7 Shakir

Now do you enter the house for security or the standing place of Abraham?

In reality you can't do either?! can you?

        peace
