I came to slm in my search for truth, I was deep in science, but science could not answer my questions, because when you dig deep into it, then you find so many contradictions. when I came to slm it I had already search in the books of most religions of the world. it didn't take me long to find where the books and their followers were wrong. worse of all, what I found as a rule is that in most religions, their followers are not even doing something close to what their books are preaching, so I keep the good things and move on. Then, a few years ago I came to the QRAN, God guides to his light to whomever he wants, after a lot of research and reading a few translations I got to the conclusion that the information in this book could only had come from the creator of life, the omniscient. However, I found the mslm astray running behind a bunch of books called hadiths and sharias, they have fulfill the prophesy that they would trow the book to their backs, they have lost it behind all this mountains of hadiths. I tough, no wonder god is punishing so harsh the mslm in the middle east, and as horribly as he did in bosnia. If you have read the Torah then you know that god never forgives those who fail in obeying him and break their covenant and ally themselves with his enemies. Then I stumble upon you, and it is good to know that at least there is some people who is willing to obey only the word of god and claim that they don't take their liders as teachers besides The All Knowing.

Quran is simple,detailed, and is explained by allah to each one of us if it is that His WILL.. i used to mix hadith with quran during 10 years almost,then todAY make 1 year i know free minds and bealive i learn more in 1 year with Quran alone than all life.. SALAAM and i sugest you to read all topics or major thems with atention.

I have one objection, it is about your line of reasoning when it comes to science. Just because science does not have the answer to your question, any other answer does not get validity attributed to it automatically. All claims must stand their ground on their own merits. For example, me being a bad person does not automatically make you a good person. For claiming that, you have to demonstrate why you are good. ) I hope you already know that.

I respect your right to interpret belief the way you stated inside those brackets. Thats reasonable, I am sure you have your reasons for believing that. However, you do not have the right to inject words or entire sentences into the text. By the way, I am not saying that what you wrote inside the bracket is definitely wrong, I am just pointing out that its "your" idea and words, it would be dishonest to pass it down as God's.

Science is a useful tool, but it works by being disproven. In a sense, Abraham (peace upon ALL Prophets) uses science in the following ayats
675 And it is such that We showed Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, so that he will be of those who have certainty.
676 When the night covered him, he saw a planet, and he said "This is my Lord." But when it disappeared he said "I do not like those who disappear."
677 So when he saw the moon rising, he said "This is my Lord." But when it disappeared he said "If my Lord does not guide me, then I will be among the wicked people!"
678 So when he saw the sun rising, he said "This is my Lord, this is bigger." But when it disappeared he said "My people, I am innocent of what you have set up."
679 "I shall turn my face to the One who initiated the heavens and the earth, in monotheism, and I am not of the polytheists."
Science doesn't have laws...only theory. It is not constant, except for constancy in its state of flux. ALLAH gave us science, but ultimately science is part of creation.
1736 And do not uphold what you have no knowledge of. For the hearing, eyesight, and heart, all these you are responsible for.
2170 And if they are told "Follow what GOD has sent down," they say "No, we will follow what we found our fathers doing!" What if their fathers did not comprehend anything and were not guided?
Good science involves not taking things for granted...scepticism. But don't take ~my~ word for it!

I had a colleague who was an atheist (ex-catholic). He sat at the same desk as mine
He always made jokes about God.
One day there was a discussion and he said something about The Quran and I said that is not what The Quran says.
He wanted to proof me wrong, so he looked up on internet to find the verse he had in mind.
After a couple of minutes he still didn't gave me the verse and he was fully concentrated on his screen. I thought he was still searching.
So I went to him so that I could help him to find the verse.
But it turned out that he already found the verse he was looking for, but he was reading further.
He kept reading till he finished the whole chapter.
In the end he totally forgot what he wanted to show me.
The Dutch translation he read was really horrible but the seriousness and the power of the message had him hail.
After a couple of minutes he sended me an email with verses he liked )Since then he never made jokes about God, well he still made jokes about the "god" of the catholics and about Jesus, but never about The God whom he had read in the dutch translation The Quran.
