I think we cant really know for sure something which we have not experienced yet. But still God gave description or example of heaven in the Quran using allegories from the material world we are experiencing right now.
225 Give good news to those who acknowledge and do the reforms, that they will have gardens with rivers flowing beneath. Every time they receive of its fruit, they say, "This is what we have been provisioned before," and they are given its likeness/allegories. Moreover, there they will have pure spouses, and there they will abide
226 God does not shy away from citing the example of a mosquito, or anything above it. As for those who acknowledge, they know that it is the truth from their Lord. As for the unappreciative, they say, "What does God want with this example?" He lets many stray by it, and He guides many, but He only lets stray the evildoers.

In Islam we get the dichotomy of believing and not believing.
As far as I know, no Islamic literature specifies what exactly humans do in heaven. We learn that all humans are resurrected and then sent to heaven if they pass the criteria. But then what? After having sex, eating and drinking, what do people do? Do I get a new PlayStation? What if a child who died 20,000 years ago sees me playing Flight Simulator XXII on a 75" flatscreen TV? Will everyone have the same level of knowledge? Will everyone speak the same language?
Or are heaven and hell to be understood as metaphors?.

They are not really useful as I have shown above that there are several sentences which describe heaven and its equipment in great detail.
And just think about the following if heaven and hell are allegorical, is the threat real of punishing non-believers or humans who sin?
What stops me from ignoring the threats made in the Koran if they are merely allegorical? -

The result of being good or not good is irrelevant, but believing in one god and that there is a messenger determines whether a person gets to spend eternity in a place of reward or punishment.
I'm sorry, but i would like to note that Faith without work is useless, it is not just your belief, it is your good works that count also.

Assumption! Says who? Why not?
Suppose Mr Smith had an experience that gave him knowledge of the existence of that which is called Allah, I know that no-one would be able to share that experience, and there would be no evidence for it for anyone else. But why is it not possible for someone to have knowledge of the existence of God? We are not talking about evidence or proof to present to others. Note that 'knowledge' here means 'direct experience'. We are not talking about intellectual knowledge as in e.g. knowing that there are penguins on Antarctica without having seen them first hand.

Every person tastes death, then you receive your recompense on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever misses Hell, barely, and makes it to Paradise, has attained a great triumph. The life of this world is no more than an illusion.

#Repetition of the Creation#
021104 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it.
So the second creation will be repetition of first creation. There is no magic behind this. We just simply look for the information about first creation to find out what is going to happen in the second creation.

Heaven and Earth were one piece
2130 Have those who rejected not seen that the heavens and the earth were one piece, so We split them apart? And that We have made from the water everything that lives. Will they not believe?Expanded universe
5147 And the sky We constructed with resources, and We are expanding it.Jannah (Heaven) in first creation
699 It is He Who sendeth down rain from the skies with it We produce vegetation of all kinds from some We produce green (crops), out of which We produce grain, heaped up (at harvest); out of the date-palm and its sheaths (or spathes) (come) clusters of dates hanging low and near and (then there are) gardens (Jannah) of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety) when they begin to bear fruit, feast your eyes with the fruit and the ripeness thereof. Second creation is just a repetition of first creation. But it's preceded by the doomsday, when the expanded universe get rolled up (21104). My understanding is that the sky and the earth becoming one piece again. And the second creation will take place, as described in 2130.
1448 The Day the earth is replaced with another earth, as are the heavens, and they will appear before God, the One, the Supreme.
If all those things is just a repetition, It's not a mystery about what will happen after the doomsday. The Jannah (heaven), humans and his/her spouse, The colors and the languages, all of them will be created naturally.
But Al Quran has telling us that this second creation is massive in size.
3974 And they said Praise be to God who has fulfilled His promise to us, and He made us inherit the earth, enjoying the paradise (Jannah) as we please. What a beautiful recompense for the workers!
So you can see, that the Jannah is lay down on the earth (the new earth in the second creation). It is similar with the Jannah in the first creation, except the one which described in this verse
5625 They will not hear any nonsense therein, nor blame.Size of Jannah
5721 You shall race towards forgiveness from your Lord, and a Paradise whose width is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believed in God and His messengers.The size of the Jannah on the new Earth in the second creation as width as the width of heaven and earth in first creation. Since the humans will live forever, I think this the reason why the new earth will be created larger than the previous one.
So back to your questions, since all the things will be re-created naturally, I think the language in the heaven will depends on location in the new earth, just like what we have today.
We will have our lineage get connected as well
5221 And those who believed, and their progeny also followed them in belief; We will have their progeny join them. We never fail to reward them for any work. Every person is paid for what he did.

The title of this thread appears to be a little wrong"What is the language of heaven". It should habe probably been named "What is it like in Heaven". But saying that, What is the language of Heaven !!!! which nobody seems to answer ??. Well if one goes by Islamic accounts then the language of Heaven is obviously Arabic since there is supposed to be an exact replica of the Koran in Heaven as there is here on Earth ( Classical Arabic of course)!!, and there are a few people on here that who swear that Arabic is the original language of Adam and thus of mankind (utter nonsense in "my view".
But keeping in line with other posters, the Koranic Heaven of wild orgies and non stop sex and exotic fruit of every kind served by young kids isn't allegorial at all and is just that as explained in Islamic text. I mean forget anybody else i.e, women and children etc etc where Heaven isn't a pretty place for them, unless your a hot blooded male of course. If I was a pagan living in Mohamad's time and living in a harsh environment, and male of course, I would be jumping at the chance to get a piece of that action!!!
Sadly for me (as an adult male) I don't beleive it is like that at all. But probably would have sucked me in to join the cause as a 7th century desert dweller in Arabia.
P.S...An old saying...If it's sounds to good to be true...It probably is. !!!!

This is explained in epistemology, where the difference between belief and knowledge is explained. If Mr. Smith had an experience, would there be a difference between knowledge and belief? No. Would anyone else be able to share that experience? No. Why should I believe the extraordinary experience Mr. Smith claims to have had? So that is the difference. It is not knowledge.
Example I believe my car is in the garage. Is this also knowledge? No, because even though I left it there, maybe it was stolen or my wife took it to go shopping. Belief, not knowledge.So, you actually nailed it with your question. God can't be proven to exist. There is no physical, appreciable means of verifying any manifestation of the super-natural. It is faith. Without proof or evidence. And what is claimed with evidence can be rejected without evidence.

Oh dear, how should I put this? My opinion is that it is not mathematical and not a miracle. Just like all other number based or numerological claims it is sheer coincidence, bending words and wishful thinking.

Let me see if I get this right. You maintain from what you read in the Koran that there was an initial creation. Of Earth and everything with it.
What will happen is that there will be an end, where everything will be destroyed.
Then a second creation, corresponding to the first, will happen and something like Earth will be created and all humans who passed the test will live there. Forever. No more will be created an none will die.Is this correct?
And if yes, then, because we will have a planet only consisting of people who passed the test, they will continue "living" no, rather existing in a similar environment as they were before judgment day and will speak the same language as before they died.
Just people will not be able to actually communicate, as all languages have changed drastically over the years.
So with my English or German or French or Dutch I could not communicate with anyone who died only 500 years ago as our languages would be vastly different. Let alone a human who died 50,000 years ago.
But an interesting concept and idea.

Heaven and hell are real, the description of which it is not stated in a literal sense for reasons that would
be problematic because of the voluminous details needed to describe every possible personal satisfaction

Some of them, yes. But actually, not just humans who passed the test will live in the new earth. All humans will. But the people who passed the test, will live in Jannah (garden), and who doesn't, will be burn in fire. All of them will happened in the new earth.

Don't bother with the language you have in the first creation. The language in the second creation will be formed naturally. Just like what we have today. Don't bother with the time frame. Maybe you would like to learn the language of the people who born 500 years before you (if it has changed) in the second creation, as you would like to learn the language of the people in the different location. It doesn't make any difference.

This is a misunderstanding of Quranic text. But it's not your fault. Some Quran translator put that the 'reward' for the people who passed the test is virgin lady rotfl

I don't know how's the translator come into that conclusion.
But as I mention in the previous reply, that the second creation is repetition of the first creation. It including the men and women creation.
Here is the verse talk about humans creation

So there is no new creature called angels or virgins to accompany the man who passed the test..
"The virgin ladies" is no other than the woman who passed the test during the first creation. So basically, we are all in the same level.

All of the languages present here and now will also be present in paradise. However we will probably see telepathy quickly taking precedence.
In fact I have good reason to believe that the entire history of the universe itself will be accessible as this data is needed for everybody's judgement & consequently their biographic records. In a few verses we are told that God will reveal the truth of all we did. And also, that no hidden thought will remain hidden, no secret act will remain secret. So prepare yourself for this fact.
So essentially, all of what is present herein and more then a bit more on top. Heaven is this life but taken to its fullest potential, that is all.
As for allegories, I believe people are misreading the verses. They state that "an allegory of heaven is like so and so e.g. rivers flowing boundlessly" but they DO NOT ever say "heaven is an allegory" to my knowledge. Heaven and hell are physical places which we will inhabit in these very same physical bodies. God did not spend all these billions of years creating our physical forms just for a joke.

I do not think physical is another thing, I think it is a matter of perception. There is no discontinuum between physical and non physical. Our perception is limited to three dimensions, actually dimensions are infinite, I guess, so in fact it is not a matter that matter will continue to exist, but more a matter that we will be beyond the three dimensions and therefore perceive without those limits. We will be lost to start with, completely lost.
