    Peace marifhaq.

I am sorry to say this ,but what you have is tales and nonsense. Keep them to yourself or give them to those who believe in nonsense and have not got the message of the creator.

Have you read Qoran? What the Qoran answers for us we take and what it did not answer for us we do not need an answer for.regarding the subjects you are offering.

By the way, welcome to the forum, minus that useless information you are willing to give us.
    Peace.

At one time I used to try to explain that virginity away. Not any more. Now I think that whether Maryam was a virgin or not does not change a thing in the Qur'anic revelation. It does not go into it and it is of no use to us to go into it. That is not what the revelation concerning Maryam is about.

The need to know whether a woman is a virgin or not may be felt by some people as important. The Qur'an doe snot seem to consider it so. It is somebody's intimacy and we are left out of that, because it does not concern us nor adds anything to the Maryam's mission.

      Salaam

        rotfl

Of course her virginity is of no importance at all, as any woman's would be...
The most important is certainly Jesus, not her!
Focusing on her is wrong, as on any other mother of prophet for that matter. Virgin birth is an utterly perplex and tricky matter. Perhaps Miriam is to symbolize a pious woman, the maximum any woman can be, for other women to follow, and that's it. But Xtisans went so far astray as to rise her to the rank of a goddess, not to mention the ridiculous notion of "mother of god" = Madonna, a woman birthing god !?! ??? rotfl

In all that focusing on the status of her reproductive biology Satan aims to turn our attention away from Jesus!

As for the one who maintained her virginity, we blew into her from our spirit, and thus, we made her and her son a portent for the whole world.

I understand that as an omen of superiority of Spirit over flesh. The miraculous birth of John and the virgin birth of Jesus are also both reminders to focus on spirituality.

        And they maintain their chastity.

Apart from all that, the initial post of this thread is rather vulgar and bizarre...

No, Maryam is included among the Prophets and she is important, just as any other Prophet she is not in the Qur'an because she is the mother of 3isa. All prophets had mothers, but we are nto told anything about them. We are told about Maryam and it is not because she is Jesus mother, but because of herself, otherwise, she would have ben ignored.

          Salaam

There is discussion here on whether Jesus was born to a virgin or not. The minority of people here think he was not. Most think he was, including myself.

In terms of the "miraculous" nature, there is some weighting that Mary was hermaphrodite/intersex. This is mainly based on

So when she delivered she said "My Lord, I have delivered a female," and God is fully aware of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her and her progeny with You from the outcast devil."

Also Mary, the daughter of Imran, who maintained her chastity. So We blew into him/it (fee hi) from Our Spirit, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His Scripture; and she was of those who were dutiful.

And the one who protected her chastity, so We blew into her (fee ha) from Our Spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.

            hi = him/it
            ha = her

It would still have required a very unique event, but Mary being hermaphrodite/intersex would explain it somewhat. This is my current view.

As with most topics, it has been discussed on the forum before, e.g.

                  Peace.

We can speculate, and many people have speculated, for years regarding "how" Mary, if a virgin, was able to conceive a child. In any case, the Qur'aan is not explicit on this issue - nor does it even explicitly state that Mary was a virgin when she conceived Jesus! For all we know, Jesus was conceived just like (nearly) every other human being on the planet - through sexual intercourse. Hell, I've even talked to certain Muslims who don't believe that Jesus was a real person at all; they believe that his story, as detailed in the Qur'aan, is a parable derived from the Bible, and Mary and Jesus are merely used as representations of something else. According to them, his story is relayed in the Qur'aan merely with the intent of sending a message to Christians who believe(d) in him. Are those people correct? To date, there's no historical proof (outside of established religious doctrine) that Jesus ever existed, especially not in the role designated to him by the Bible and Qur'aan. So, ultimately, we don't know.

If a man may or may not have existed in reality, then of what significance is it to establish a concept of his so-called miraculous conception? That's like arguing about the Easter Bunny's favorite color!

If Jesus was an actual, historical person, then we know that he was obviously born of a man and a woman. Was this woman (e.g. Mary) a virgin at the time of his conception? We don't know, and we'll probably never know. Given the circumstances, that answer should be good enough. Otherwise, we're only guessing and speculating. The Qur'aan speaks on that subject too

"And if you obey most of those in the earth, they will lead you astray from God's way. They follow nothing but assumption, and they only guess." (Q. 6116)

                  Peace,

                  Ahmad

Please study the subject thoroughly, and ponder.

                    For example
                    http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersex
                    http//www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001669.htm

True Gonadal Intersex. Here the person must have both ovarian and testicular tissue. This may be in the same gonad (an ovotestis), or the person might have one ovary and one testis. The person may have XX chromosomes, XY chromosomes, or both. The external genitals may be ambiguous or may appear to be female or male. This condition used to be called true hermaphroditism. In most people with true gonadal intersex, the underlying cause is unknown, although in some animal studies it has been linked to exposure to common agricultural pesticides.

Complex or Undetermined Intersex Disorders of Sexual Development. Many chromosome configurations other than simple 46, XX or 46, XY can result in disorders of sex development. These include 45, XO (only one X chromosome), and 47, XXY, 47, XXX -- both cases have an extra sex chromosome, either an X or a Y. These disorders do not result in an intersex condition where there is discrepancy between internal and external genitalia. However, there may be problems with sex hormone levels, overall sexual development, and altered numbers of sex chromosomes.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Very interesting post indeed @Ahmad Bilal!
I tend to agree with you.
I also think that Jesus is a symbolic figure, that's the reason why in the Gospels they refer to him as "a son of man" and as a "son of God", both metaphors indicating human-animal and human-spiritual nature. Mary is also a symbol of a chaste woman.
To be on the Straight Path and be nearer to God one has to get rid of his/her lower/animal nature and ego, and become more spiritual, specially since in the Hereafter there will be no body at all, so one should start preparing himself here...

                      PS
O, and I loved the quotation in red at the end! )
