Washing your hair after sex - that's another innovation. Another lie imputed to God.

      Peace justamuslim,

We're talking about bathing after sex; not the hair but just the body itself. The heat of the water (steam) can damage certain hairstyles. Whether this is an innovation or not, I think many people just prefer to shower or are accustomed to it after partaking in sex.

My Mum didn't start wearing hijab until she was like 38. My Aunts are kind of like that too....
don't take stuff from no body, they got nothing on you.
The problem i would say is young Egyptian men. Some act like they've never seen a woman before. gropping and molesting girls in public! nope

          Salaam,

Its bad news you took it off, you have given in to the female desire to show off yourself (for who? To help the modesty of men or to attract?). The very reason women are told to cover themselves.

To learn what the Qur'an says, as opposed to liberalist qur'anists who love nothing more than throwing away and difficulty in Islam, please read the following article based solely on the Qur'an, any questions are welcome.

          http//www.detailedquran.com/quran_data/The%20Quranic%20dress%20code%20for%20women.htm

          Which is found at http//www.detailedquran.com

Salaam and I hope you reconsider our decision.

My mother wears Hijab and I have always been a huge supporter of the hijab... but..... you give evidences from dictionaries. When was these dictionaries written? Do you have a dictionary from before or maybe from the time Quran was revealed ? confused

By that laughable logic, lets throw away the Qur'an.

If you have a problem with the logic of the article, give a spcific example.

              Thank you

                  Salaam,

(Khimar) is wrongly translated on your website. Please take a look at 2431

                  2431 ...
2431 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their Khimar over their bosoms...

You can see how and where to use "Khimar" in 2431.

Intentionally 2431 is not used to describe (Khimar) but this same aayat is used under (Zeenat) and again intentionally 732 is ignored under the category of (Zeenat).

May Allah protect us from twisting the word of Allah and guide us to His true path pr

I have a problem with that article. I believe that there is no logical point that God has commanded women to cover from head to toe. God talks about clothes during summer and winter and during war. Where is the differentiation if one wears a veil 365 days a year? Where is the Clothes of adornment talked about in 726?

God commands that Women cover their Ornaments. Only women are spoken of to have natural ornaments. Men are never spoken of to have natural ornaments. If i let my hair grow out, will it become a natural ornament?

And what about the jewerly that we are allowed to wear 1614. are we supposed to cover that also?

One of the Most descriptive is, Women should NOT "strike with their legs" (e.g strutting) even after covering their ornaments. 2430. If you cover from head to toe and strut, what can be noticed of your body. I'll give you a clue, the chest area, the derriere....

O children of Adam, you shall be clean and dress nicely when you go to the masjid. And eat and drink moderately; Surely, He does not love the gluttons.

Say, "Who prohibited the nice things GOD has created for His creatures, and the good provisions?" Say, "Such provisions are to be enjoyed in this life by those who believe. Moreover, the good provisions will be exclusively theirs on the Day of Resurrection." We thus explain the revelations for people who know.

How about men showing their hair? Why is it that men are not told to cover themselves? It is said that bald is sexy!

Laughable. What happens to women like myself, who live in countries where covering is not the norm? I draw more attention when I am covered versus when I am not. Oh, and even though I am not covered anymore, I do not receive looks, attention or glares from lusting men. I believe it is not just because of the way I dress (modestly) but because of my behavior.

I act and carry myself as a woman devoted to God. That is what makes the difference.

                        Peace.

The Qur'an does not warrant at all that covering of women is destined to keep men off temptation. Not at all. And there is no instance in it of any woman tempting any man because of her looks.

But there is a mention of a man tempting women and make tham do follies because of his looks. So, if anybody should cover because of looks, it should be men. Cute men.

You are right...from what I have read there is nothing there regarding it either. You know just as well as I what most women are taught, however. (

Are you inddirectly suggesting that I should wear the hijab due to my cute, dashing and handsome look, huruf

I swear the girls in my school say that i am more handsome than brad pitt.. seriously ;D ;D

Maybe I should wear Niqaab instead of Hijab

Either that or you make sure there is no knife within a km. distance that the ladies can get hold of. Blood doesn't look good on cute boys.

voodoo voodoo voodoo eat eat eat

You are right...from what I have read there is nothing there regarding it either. You know just as well as I what most women are taught, however.

One should think that the hijabists who keep pounding on women to outdo anything said in the Qur'an have obviously no knowledge of a man named Yusuf in the Book, or they think the Qur'an is lying or they trust the whole world is so stupid that it is not going to notice the travestism of hijab for women.

Did Yusuf, when all the women and one particular woman wanted to have with him more than words feel powerless to resist? Did God at that time tel any woman to cover her head or whatever? No. Not at all. So when it would have been most to the point to say something on that, the Qur'an does not miss the opportunity to shut up. Fancy that.

                                          Salaam
