what is the difference between salatihim and salawatihim ? singular and plural?

Peace
As I understand the word salawat in 239 is plural of the world salat in 7034. Why in one verse plural form is used and another singular?
239 Waallatheena hum AAala salawatihim yuHafithoona
7034 Waallatheena hum AAala salatihim yuHafithoona

peace,
If we assume the author of Quran does not use words haphazardly, i.e. random, then there must be a reason for the different usage, e.g. the author wants to differentiate a little. Consider the contexts, read, study etc.

peace Wakas,
peace,
If we assume the author of Quran does not use words haphazardly, i.e. random, then there must be a reason for the different usage, e.g. the author wants to differentiate a little. Consider the contexts, read, study etc.
Background
http//mypercept.co.uk/articles/slw.htmThanks for the article but still I don't get why the different usage in these two instances . The context seems similar to me other than that one addresses almuminoona/belivers and the other one almusalleena/who maintain their communions
Do you see any particular reason why in a similar verse once plural is used in 239 and plural is used in 7034 for the word salat ?
In the following verses where the traits of believers are mentioned salat is mentioned in singular form once in 232 and once in plural form (salawat)in 239
231 The believers are indeed successful.
Qad aflaha almuminoona
232 Those who are humble when making their communion.
Allatheena hum fee salatihim khashiAAoona233 And they abstain from vain talk.
235 And they cover their private parts.
236 Except around their mates, or those who are committed to them by oath, they are free from blame.
237 But whosoever seeks anything beyond this, then these are the transgressors.
238 Those who are true to what they have been entrusted and their pledges.
239 And those who maintain their communions.
Waallatheena hum AAala salawatihim yuhafithoona2310 These are the inheritors.
2311 The ones who shall inherit Paradise, in it they will abide.
And in the following verses which mentions the traits of musallen salat is mentioned in singular form in two verses 7023 and 7034
7019 Indeed, human being is created anxious.
7020 When adversity touches him he is miserable.
7021 When good touches him he is stingy.
7022 Except for those who commune.
7022 Illa almusalleena7023 Who are steadfast to their communion.
Allatheena hum AAala salatihim daimoona7024 And those who set aside part of their wealth.
7026 And those who believe in the Day of Judgment.
7027 And those who are fearful of their Lord's retribution.
7028 The retribution of their Lord is not to be taken for granted.
7029 And those who conceal their private parts.
7030 Except around their spouses or those committed to by oath, there is no blame.
7031 Then, whoever seeks anything beyond this, they are the transgressors.
7032 And those who are trustworthy and keep their pledges.
7033 And those who uphold their testimonies.
7034 And those who are constant to their communion.
Waallatheena hum AAala salatihim yuhafithoona7035 They will be honored in paradises.

Wakas had given a good advice.
In 232 singular is preceded by preposition Fee and followed by Khasehuon.
And in 239 salawatihim yuhafithoonaIn 7023 singular is followed by daimoona and this Ayah is exception clause from the preceding one.
In 7034 it is singular followed by yuhafithoona and it links back to 7023
Each and all of salawati are thus covered. No grey area is left.
