So far I have been working on translation according to Suras. However, I thought of doing it as words/concepts. One of the most frequently used root in Quran is Alif-Lam-ha. So I have decided to start from beginning few verses at a time.

    Badar

    2163

So your deity for worship is a deity that separates oneself from other deities. There is no deity for worship at all, except for one the extreme, eternal compassion.

    2255

One who is not a deity for worship, dose not at all belongs to genus/species of illah (a deity for worship), except he is the absolute sustainer of existence full of the intelligence and knowledge.

    32

One who is not a deity for worship, dose not at all belongs to genus/species of illah (a deity for worship), except he is the absolute sustainer of existence full of the intelligence and knowledge.

    36

One is who desires you all to tie into relationship. How one wills it to happen? There is not at all a deity for worship, except for one, the most noble, illustrious, possessing wisdom and knowledge.

      Nice, and good...

But in another place, the Qur'an says

I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.

"I am GOD; there is no other god beside Me. You shall worship Me alone, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) to remember Me.
We did not send any messenger before you except with the inspiration "There is no god except Me; you shall worship Me alone."
Your congregation is but one congregation, and I alone am your Lord; you shall worship Me alone.
GOD promises those among you who believe and lead a righteous life, that He will make them sovereigns on earth, as He did for those before them, and will establish for them the religion He has chosen for them, and will substitute peace and security for them in place of fear. All this because they worship Me alone; they never set up any idols beside Me. Those who disbelieve after this are the truly wicked.
O My servants who believed, My earth is spacious, so worship Me.
And that you shall worship Me alone? This is the right path.
Your Lord says, "Implore Me, and I will respond to you. Surely, those who are too arrogant to worship Me will enter Gehenna, forcibly."
I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.

But then of course, we come always at the same difficulty of the Arabic tongue and the Arabic language (important difference), and that almost no-one today knows the intrinsic meaning of Arabic roots and Arabic words...

A translation perhaps could be only a hint, a sign... a direction in which to start thinking...

Just looked at the few verses you pointed out. Can not even yet establish roots of several words, then what to talk of grammatical forms.

Yes translation is just a pointer for lot more work yet needs to be done. When word Allah could be broken down into its constituents as "One who is not a deity for worship", then everything changes up side down.

        Regards

One who is not a deity for worship testifies and bear witness that he is not at all a deity for worship. Besides him, the messengers and the possessors of knowledge keep establishing with out deviating from right course. There is no deity for worship, besides him, the noble, illustrious, possessing wisdom and knowledge

            Peace bkanwar2.

Quote One who is not a deity for worship testifies and bear witness that he is not at all a deity for worship. Besides him, the messengers and the possessors of knowledge keep establishing with out deviating from right course. There is no deity for worship, besides him, the noble, illustrious, possessing wisdom and knowledge

Please look at the two expressions highlighted. There is a contradiction?

            Peace.

Thanks good logic for pointing out this. I was just talking to my one of two friends in this world who are helping sincerely in this task. He pointed out the same issue as you are.

It is not a contradiction. Let me point out why?

One who is not a deity for worship testifies and bear witness that he is not at all a deity for worship. Besides him, the messengers and the possessors of knowledge keep establishing with out deviating from right course. There is no deity for worship, besides him, the noble, illustrious, possessing wisdom and knowledge.

The him in the sentence is a pronoun used in place of One who is not a deity for worship .

So why is the problem, because we are so use to reading and having conceptually, understood "Allah" as "One and only deity for worship".

Now let me replace the pronoun , by noun/concept it is referring to in the sentence.

One who is not a deity for worship testifies and bear witness that he is not at all a deity for worship. Besides him, the messengers and the possessors of knowledge keep establishing with out deviating from right course. There is no deity for worship, besides one who is not a deity for worship is the noblest, illustrious, possessing wisdom and knowledge

Furthermore, one needs to use pronoun "he", instead of "him" here.

Only one who is not a deity for worship and listen again, one who is not a deity for worship; he certainly is the noblest, most illustrious, possessing wisdom and knowledge

a definite noun from root ?Ha-Qaf-Qaf, meaning ?it became suitable to the requirements of wisdom, justice, truth, rightness, fact and unavoidable?

a particle with various meanings here ?from?

from root, Alif-Lam-ha, meaning ?a deity for worship?.

a restrictive particle with usual meanings of ?but, beside, except?, also means ?only?. This last one is used here due to context.

explained multiple times meaning ?one not a deity for worship?

connector particle with another particle both explained above

                    explained above

                    explained above

a definite noun from root Ayn-Zay-Zay at the measure of , the root meanings ?mighty potent, noble, illustrious?
