    Salaam brother

I looked into the link you gave and found this; "The Day of Resurrection/Judgment and Requital".
Again why two terms if it's is all happening on the same day? hmm

Resurrection in time reference precedes judgment and requital. Words explain each other retaining different connotations.

I have assigned a different colour to the different terms used above, so could you please now put the three words you used, in Arabic, in the same colour so that there will be no confusion.

      Salaam

        Salaamun 'Alaiykum Farida,

This connects to "The Hour" that was asked about in the other thread. The HOUR leads up to Yawm Ad-Deen and Yawm Ad-Deen is the End of the Countdown.

and the other term both signify Judgment day/Resurrection day
Literally it means, day of religion.

Interestingly as i just learned this
The word religion in arabic (deen) is related to the word for "loan" (Dayn), and just like a loan that has to be re-paid back at the end of duration, your religious works will get re-payed back to you at the end...

          hmm Sorry for long post

          Salaam youssef4342

I took some time to reply to your thread, as first it needed a bit bit more time. As you know I am in the middle of learning so I hope you would understand my inablility to deal with the subject.
You say; in arabic (deen) is related to the word for "loan" (Dayn),
          Let's reflect on this situation in our worldy life; say one day we go out to have dinner in a resturant;
          The process starts

          1. We enter the restaurant
          2. We look at the menu
          3. We chose what we like to eat, each according to our own taste.
          4. We order the meal; in other words we are ordering that, which we will pay for later, after we've consumed the food, which comes as a "loan" (Dayn), you might say
          5. The meal is served and we start to eat. You loved your dish, where as I was really disppointed with my main course, but the starters and dessert were good so, on the whole the three course meal was not that bad.
          6. Now the time has come to pay back so we ask for the bill.
          7. The meal provider sums up the bill which includes, not only the cost of the food but it also overheads as well as profit .
          8. We receive the bill and look at it to see how much.
Let me share here my personal experiences; I've seen restaurant owners charging me a different price for the same food that others are paying more or less for. I'll give you the example of Turkey, where I am seen as Turkish because I speak a bit of Turkish and I look Turkish, so I get the same price as Turks, but when I go to the same restaurant with my husband, who happens to be Swedish, the bill shoots because now the customer is non Turkish, coming from Europe. He must be earning more so must not get away with the same cost as the locals.
In other words there is discrimination against this customer. I have seen the same pattern in Pakistan where I'm made to pay more than my sister, as the seller straight away recognises that I'm from abroad so I must have extra cash to pay.
            Coming back to our resturant;
          9. We pay the bill but in places where a tip is expected we are often required to pay , even if we are not pleased with the service. The look and the smile of the waiter says it all according to the tip.
          10. After that we leave the resturant and off we go back to from where we came.

Youm alkiyama = lit day of ressurecttion
youm alakher = lit End day
          Alakherah = lit Endtimes

all signify one thing J Day.

          hmm

          Salaam

It is common knowledge that connect all three into one, but we have to look at what Quran says and I came upon a very interesting ayat 732 where one can get different idea about yeumulkijame...

There is only one legitmate owner of this Universe. When humans will realize and accept this fact, that shall be the day.

              Please consider this

              Surah 14

A possessor of the customs and traditions, at all times.

it is noun from root at the measure of Faailun.

a common noun from root meaning usually ?a day? but it actually means ?time in absolute sense?.

a definite noun from root meaning ?customs and traditions?

After reading that ayat I know exactly what you are talking about. And I agree with you wholeheartedly. handshake

I think the point is further driven home by reading the two ayaaat after it as well (7/33 and 7/34)

I am posting here the understandings of someone from Aastana whose understandings on this topic I do agree with

                    youme Qayama etc

/ youme akhira = means the day when the struggle of mominoon will end and they will get the desired result.

/ youme deen= means when the way of life with Human rights is served for all human beings according to divine orders.

/ Ajal msma = means when the time comes and the final result is achieved.

There are other words like which also mean the same eg.

/ youme qayama= means when the laws according to divine orders are implemented.

and / youme alsaa = means the moment when change takes place

all these events are from this world and not from the world outside this earth.

/ Alhayat al dunya , is a life which has a worldly qualities .

If it is translated as Life of this world then it will be a wrong translation because is compound called /muraqab toseefi, having a noun and an adjective.

/ aldunya is quality of AL hayat / ??.so

means a life of low standard.

I see you changed your understanding on ?

Yes, because Linguistic rule predominantly in most books says that when preposition "lee" is prefixed to personal prnouns its Kesra changes into fatha. Hence, my previous understanding did not have majority linguistic support.

Bender posted references from the Quran regarding the Day of Recompense so that we could further discuss it.
'And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul a thing; and the command, that Day, is with Allah'

Instead of reflecting on why we're twice questioned about , and then defining what this Day holds, your response was not except whistling and handclapping.
