      means in TWO things which are actually the TWO gardens mentioned in 62;
means in MULTIPLE things which are actually the trees of fruit mentioned in 68.

Please refer to brother yaseen's Companions of Heaven, http//www.free-minds.org/companions-heaven

      Peace,

          Salaam,

          There are still some questions.

          5568

According to Corpus Quran we have the following

          nominative feminine indefinite noun
          nominative masculine indefinite noun
          nominative masculine indefinite noun

          5570

          According to Corpus Quran

third person feminine plural object pronoun

If is referring to all 3 of them how is this possible? Can someone please give me similair usage like this please.

At the moment I have two explanations

          1. is only referring to . As that is the only feminine word.
          2. Who gave the genders to words? And how did they derived them? With other words, are and in The Quran masculine?

          I came across this verse
          26148

          According to Corpus Quran
          genitive masculine indefinite noun
third person feminine singular possessive pronoun

          How is this possible?
It looks to me without question that is feminine, unless someone comes with something I overlooked.

If no one can come up with an explanation then I am afraid that we have to investigate every word of The Quran for it's gender.

Last question, to what is referring in 5556?
          5556

Salaam and thanks to anyone who tries to help.

We may consider that Plural feminine pronoun is referring back to total four gardens mentioned in 5546 and 5562. And it is object pronoun of preposition; prepositional phrase relating to elided fronted predicate of the nominal sentence. Next word is the subject of sentence and third word is adjectival description of preceding word.

Beautiful and good natured wives shall be their companion in those gardens.
