This is quiet a learning experience. People born into different faiths may be an act of nature, but your story proves some question what faith they are born into and whether it makes logical sense to them.

This is a good forum to learn and share and ask questions. We are all students on the path of learning and hope not only to learn but apply what we learn to our lives. Thank you for your introduction article, what I mostly liked is your sincerity and the capacity for expressing so many ideas in a concise manner with no boring, and I liked the most, your expression that God's language is the piece and humanity, although I do not agree on the word humanity, I would add that God's language is the piece, love and responsibility.

Thank you for sharing parts of your personal story with us, and I am glad that Dr. Rashad Khalifa's work opened your eyes as it did for me, too. But I feel I am ready now to move on, without sticking only to his teachings, and expand my spiritual views, for which purpose this Forum served to some extent.

I strongly agree with you. Allah has given us the free will but has also given us the intellect to decide what is good and what is bad for us. I ponder in Quranic verses and use my intellect how to apply them into my life. I have never faced any situation where Quran is not sufficient. Once we understand the Quran and what it truly teaches us, we do not even need to go through each and every verses everytime, we can easily use our logical intellect and apply to the situation.

Knowledge has no boundry and I will not be stopping here. I will be looking for more and more opinion from other brothers here just to increase my faith to the creator and his guidence "QURAN".

Always Respond to a 'Greeting'

"When greeted with a greeting, you shall respond with a better greeting or at least an equal one. Allah reckons all things."
(an-Nisa? 486)

Always Say 'Good' things

"Do you not see that Allah has cited the example of a good word as a good tree whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches are high in the sky. It produces its crop every season, as designed by its Lord. Allah thus cites the examples for the people, that they may take heed."
(Ibrahim 1424-25)

Be 'Humble', and speak 'Lightly'

"Walk humbly and lower your voice, the ugliest voice is the donkey's voice."
(Luqman 3119)

Invite to Allah with wisdom and kindness

"Invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path, and He knows best who are the guided ones."
(an-Nahl? 16125)

"It was mercy from Allah that you became compassionate towards them. Had you been harsh and mean-hearted, they would have abandoned you. Therefore, you shall pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, and consult them. Once you make a decision, carry out your plan, and trust in Allah. Allah loves those who trust in Him."

Be Kind to your parents

"Your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship except Him, and your parents shall be honored. And lower for them the wings of humility, and kindness, and say, "My Lord, have mercy on them, for they have raised me from infancy."

Suppress Anger & Forgive People

"who give to charity during the good times, as well as the bad times. They are suppressors of anger, and pardoners of the people. Allah loves the charitable."
(al-E-Imran 3134)

Counter Evil with Good

"Not equal is the good response and the bad response. You shall resort to the nicest possible response. Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend."
(Fussilat 4134)

"They steadfastly persevere in seeking their Lord, observe the Salat, spend from our provisions to them secretly and publicly, and counter evil with good. These have deserved the best abode."
(al-Ra?d 1322)

Do NOT Say 'Bad' things

"And the example of the bad word is that of a bad tree chopped at the soil level; it has no roots to keep it firm."
(Ibrahim 1426)

Do NOT be 'Arrogant' or 'Carefree'

"You shall not treat the people with arrogance, nor shall you roam the earth carefree. Allah does not like the arrogant showoffs."

Do NOT engage in 'ignorant' talk

"The servants of the Almighty are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace."

Do NOT Curse the Idolaters

"And do not curse those who call on other than Allah, lest they blaspheme and curse Allah, out of ignorance. We have adorned the works of every group in their eyes. Ultimately, they return to their Lord, then He informs them of everything they had done."

Do NOT make fun of others, or call them names

"O you who believe, no people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than they. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than they. Nor shall you mock one another, or call each other names. Evil indeed is the reversion to wickedness after attaining faith. Anyone who does not repent after this, these are the transgressors."

Do NOT be suspicious, or spy on one another, or backbite

"O you who believe, if a wicked person brings any news to you, you shall first investigate, lest you commit injustice towards some people, out of ignorance, then become sorry and remorseful for what you have done."

"O you who believe, you shall avoid any suspicion, for even a little bit of suspicion is sinful. You shall not spy on one another, nor shall you backbite one another; this is as abominable as eating the flesh of your dead brother. You certainly abhor this. You shall observe Allah. Allah is Redeemer, Most Merciful."

Do NOT be 'Racist'

"O people, We created you from the same male and female, and rendered you distinct peoples and tribes, that you may recognize one another. The best among you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous. Allah is Omniscient, Cognizant."

Sorry for my poor English, I am from Nepal and English is only my work language in Dubai. Probably my saying of humanity I guess falls under the tree of responsibility you have mentioned.

Glad to know that you too were influenced by the teachings of Dr. Rashad Khalifa. I still follow Musjid Tucson and read its articles time by time. but mostly I am commited to looking Islam from global perspective by looking at different people's opinion in this site. I am still in learning stage and any knowledge, advise or suggestion will be highly appreciated.

I have read many of you articles here and honestly you are among my favourites!!

May God Guide us to right path always!

Even though all seems to be familiar, I believe, It's very important to apply them into our lives. I do already apply them into my daily life in best possible way and will pay more attention for sure. Thank you for the reminder and specially with Quranic verses.

Your English is excellent, and I sometimes feel that people can communicate otherwise then just by words only, (no difference whether it is in person or through the Internet), because there is intuition and even telepathy , and the mind is even capable of communicating with God, too! )

So, I was not only influenced by Dr. Khalifa's work, but I was blessed enough by the fact that that's how I ever connected with the Qur'an and Islam for the very first time, two or three years ago.
It is still the purest form of Islamic teachings and message for me, and my main Islamic reference is still the web site of the Masjid Tuscon, and I still follow it like you, and read articles there now and then. For me, submission to God is learning how to be ever more humble in front of Divinity, and how to let God do everything in my life.
But lately, I also feel that one has to grow spiritually and expand, and my main efforts are to search for more ways to get myself rid of the ego as much as possible, and try to get nearer to God increasing my love of God.

I hope you will forgive me for exhibiting my personal opinion, I always try to write what I think God might inspire me, but of course, I do not succeed that each time... )

It is so good to have you as a member as well, since you followed some of our articles for some time, and I wish God will bestow even more blessings to you always.

The Mind is capable of comminucating with God.. INDEED!!

So, I was not only influenced by Dr. Khalifa's work, but I was blessed enough by the fact that that's how I ever connected with the Qur'an and Islam for the very first time, two or three years ago.
It is still the purest form of Islamic teachings and message for me, and my main Islamic reference is still the web site of the Masjid Tuscon, and I still follow it like you, and read articles there now and then. Welcome to the forum. This place is a treasury for any Truthseeker.

Dr. Khalifa was the first source of information I encountered when I realized something was wrong with the practices of Islam, and he immediately had me convinced and what he tried to say was right and that traditional Islam is distorted beyond recognition. I was also convinced about code 19.

However, I never accepted everything Dr. Khalifa had been trying to teach and I continued to study independently, read Quran, tried to learn some basic Arabic, found alternative sources of information on the Web, discovered this website, and now this is where I am now.

Without intention to brag, I feel I am most certainly blessed and despite hardship in my life, I am sturdy as an old steam locomotive. I will not tell more in detail here, there is much to it, but I am glad God is providing me with guidance and it feels like He is keeping me near. I get closer to the Truth every day and that is what I wish everyone else too.

Directly or through His devout servants (=fm members and others), that is from where I gain my knowledge. And God communicates through inspiration, giving me "aha" sensations pretty much every day.

My brother, you are also most likely blessed being guided by the Lord to this website and to discover Dr. Khalifa, the human Beacon. It was pleasant to read your story and I am happy to read what the Lord is doing for you, just do not start taking things for granted, as a friendly piece of advice and thank Him every day. And remember the tides may change and you are exposed to new trials again through various means.

Finally, I would like to say, keep yourself unlocked, I mean, do listen and try to understand everything people have to say, even if you do not agree with it. Think about things you do not agree with and they may still learn a thing or two even if you do not agree fully.

Sorry if it appears I am trying to teach you how to live, I feel perhaps too caring about the well-being of others. I just wanted to say hello really, and now it comes to this. At least you know something about me.
