Can we eat Gelatin with pork byproducts?

According to Wikipedia " Gelatin is derived from pork skins, pork, horses, and cattle bones, or split cattle hides." Though I assume that is the most common type as I heard there ones without pork too.
However in the Quran it states " Say "I do not find in what is inspired to me forbidden except that it be already dead, or blood, or the meat of pig, for it is foul; or what is corruptly dedicated to other than God." Whoever is forced without seeking disobedience or transgression, then your Lord is Forgiving, Merciful."
Does skin and bones of pig fit with the MEAT of pig? Or is that separate?
Is meat referring to just any editable parts?Thanks and oh I eat fish oil capsules which have gelatin in them. Not sure if they are pork by product types or if they are using fish since it's fish oil.

Gelatin, in my belief is on the controversial list. The way it s extracted is that the carcus of the animal is completely boiled (?)... So since only the meat of pigs is prohibited, if the gelatin is from the skin, then it is forbidden (?), but if it is from bone or around the fat, then it might not be prohibited (?).
As per my belief and other submitters', Meat refers to that, meat. It does not refer to Fat (children of Israel were prohibited from eating the fat of certain animals, that didn't mean they couldn't eat the meat of them)

I would try to find kosher alternatives, or ones made without gelatin, or just not eat the gelatin capsule part, and eat the inside filling.

I honestly don't know about this so much and since I am on medications that I must take of which uses gelatin capsules, I have no choice but to take them. I also am one that thinks that the verse quoted above has to do with the meat of the animal rather than by-products.
