    Peace,
can someone help me with this?

    Who was the first Muslim?

    2132
The same did Abraham enjoin upon his sons, and also Jacob, (saying) O my sons! Lo! Allah hath chosen for you the (true) religion; therefore die not save as men who have surrendered (unto Him).

    7143
And Moses fell down senseless. And when he woke he said Glory unto Thee! I turn unto Thee repentant, and I am the first of (true) believers.

    3912
And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him).

    Contradictions in the Quran.

All the verses you posted are relative to something I would believe. Moses was the first of his people to believe in his message, Muhammad the first in his message. The verse on Abraham is irrelevant because it doesnt say him, nor his sons were the first of the believers.

      Hope that helps.

        Peace be upon you all,

When you finally become a TRUE MONOTHEIST, you will realize that there is really nothing but the GOD. So YOU are Abraham, you ARE Moses, you ARE the FIRST.

We you understand TRUTH, you become ONE with ALL!

WHile we are "still only humans" (Havent realized the unifying divinity within) you are still seperate, and then that allows a first, second, third, and so on.

P.S. Zenje, you recognize the underlined part

            Peace be upon you Tux,

If you can give the questions from that site one at a time, I will give you my understandings. But I don't have the energy or time to answer them all at once.

The so called contradictions come from a mind that cannot think abstractly. We all start off this way but we were given something special that was designed to bring us from this weak state to a powerful state.

So in conclusion, if you want to discuss these so called contradictions, please ask one at a time.

              Peace be upon you Tux,

I started reading a few more of those contradictions, they are hillarious.

For example, the one about "Who was Abraham's father?" They give one verse from this reading(quran), and say that contradicts GENESIS(the Bible)!! lol

Another is "How many 'angels' spoke to MAry?"

They say the contradiction comes from a few verses that say MANY 'angels', but say that is contradicted by verses 1916-19 which DO NOT MENTION ANGELS AT ALL. the word "malaika" cannot be found in any of those verses, so where is the contradiction.

If you still wnat to go through them all, please ask away, but there is no substance to any of those so called "contradictions".

They also talk about what the Quran says about religious tolerance.
Here are some verses from that page.

2286, 3147 "Give us victory over the disbelieving folk."
332 "Allah loveth not the disbelievers."
4101 "The disbelievers are an open enemy to you."
551 "Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. ... He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them."

                http//www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/says_about/religious_tolerance.html

I wonder why they did'nt include this verse

                262
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

                roll

                Sorry for my poor english.

Hasten towards good to be the first among the firsts!
He who drops his ego first, is the first amongst the muslims of his people!
