The Quran has no ayats forbidding homosexual marriage,

    facepalm

OMG are you blind or what? This is direct insult to God and entire Islam. I posted ayat's where God clearly say that homosexualism is forbidden, entire cities were destroyed because of this.

Quran also don't say nothing about animal sex but this does not mean you can have sex with dogs.

Are you people sick or what?

        How not to be angry?
Some "muslims" here clearly have no idea what islam is. I really dont know what kind of muslims can call them self muslims and support satanic filth like homosexualism.

Islam is compassion and tolerance not anger, hatred, bigotry, discrimination.

                Peace all.

If you look the verses on the Quran and carefully, you will noticed the Sodoms actually not gay but heterosexual..

                Evidence
The gay people may only 5% or less of the residence in the country, but in the Sodom case, you will notice the people who doing the homos, is some people. Then it's strange, most of male in a city like Sodom is a gay. That means the Sodom men did homosexual not because they're born gay or mistreated, but they're have sexual thinking n hoterosexual

1179 They said ?You know we have no interest in your daughters, and you are aware of what we want!?

BLUE This means they are not a single or
Plus they forcely persuade the other male, to sex with them. It's clear if they're doing it for adultery. (1567-70), (26161, 26169)

                    Salam Sonny

To draw comparisons between homosexuality and bestiality is not even on the map. I would suggest you withdraw such statements.

There is a difference between clear and clear. Most of us sick people would suggest that when the term "clear" is used there is absolutely no doubt. For example there is nobody here who would say that pork is not forbidden, right? That is because it clearly states it is forbidden.
Many of us sickos also remember 37

He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding.

Not the entire Quran is to be taken literally because in the Quran it says all should not be taken literally

Now, if you believe the story of Lot, Noah, Moses and others to be true (that it actually really happened) then you believe in a lot of things that go against the very essence of Islam. One for example is the story of Lot where the verses only speak about male homosexuality but God punished all, heterosexual, woman and child. The same goes with the story of Moses where the only one who was at fault was the Pharaoh, not his misled people. I dont know about you but I could never believe Allah would be so cruel as to punish without forgivness or that he would punish innocent people.
The stories are allegorical. They have a message for us and they should not be taken literally. They should not be used as to allow or forbid anything.

Also, when it comes to stories you must always read the entire story and not take anything out of context. For example have you realized that the beginning of surah 7 is directed to prophet Muhammed? It is like Allah is invoking bravery in prophet Muhammed, asking him if he remembers how Allah has protected prophets before him. It is like Allah is telling him "Do not fear when people are against you and want to ban or kill you, I will be there to protect you if your life is danger"

Have you realized that in surah 26 it is almost the exact?

72 A Book that has been sent down to you, so let there not be any burden in your chest from it, that you may warn with it; and a reminder to the believers.
262 These are the signs of the Book of clarity.263 Perhaps you grieve yourself that they do not become believers.

I am not trying to prove you are wrong. I do however think you should start to read entire surahs instead of individual verses. There is a message for you. Most of the people you seem to think are sick non-muslims have discovered that the story of Lot is not forbidding homosexuality but it holds a different more hidden meaning. I have already told you the meaning I see, that we should never let our own ego/nature take over hand so we forget about Allah, so much it comes to the point when a warner is sent to us we try to kill him instead of listening to him.

                      Peace Sonny,

Apology accepted, If you reread my previous post, I stated that only the marriage
between man and woman is acceptable by default, meaning that a detailed list of
who can get married is not necessary because, the Quran only recognizes marriage
between man and woman and does not mention any other type of union, therefore
those marriages are not based in God's law but man's law.

                      Peace family,
The Quran has no ayats forbidding homosexual marriage, on the otherhand, it is one
of the types of marriage not mentioned including marriage to animals or inanimate
objects etc. Therefore other types of marriage other than man and wife are excluded
                      by default.

                      peace

Peace @Sonny, read my post above your post, the Sodom male is not homosexuality gay but they're heterosexual.

@Sonny it seems you're just follow Quran Alone recently, this mean the traditional teaching still stuck in your brain. It's ok, and make yourself study more peace.

If you know, homosexual is not included in heterosexual category and homosexual is not sexual problem and some gay already born as a gay, this means a male with female brain hormons.

There is a explanation by Farouk Peru in his website
                        http//quranistvoices.wordpress.com/2011/04/29/homosexuality-and-the-people-of-lut/

If you're not satisfied, just type "homosexual" in free-minds search tool, in there you will find some treads about homosexuality.
So homosexual is sin or not, depending on the background n circumstances( in Sodom case it is actually big sin).

                        Salaam

                          Salamun Alaykum.

My understanding is that Homosexuality is transgressing the limits set by Allah. Yes some are born feeling that they are the wrong gender, Allah knows best. However it is not for us to judge. If society chooses to allow same sex marriages then it is for Allah to judge. I personally would not treat someone who claimed to be gay any different from that of my friends, I would read the relevant verses to them, and allow them to decide for themselves. We can lead by example. Showing people that there is an Omnipotent Creator, and the importance of following the Supreme's directives, the rest is up to that individual. group

There is no such a thing as a "born gay", its our sick media that promote this nonsense to destroy traditional family, divide and enslave braindead people. If I look world today and some comments here they are doing damn good, unfortunately.

Anyway, if homosexuality was forbidden for people before us this automatically means its forbidden for people today.

If you even think that homosexuality is not sin you are going against Quran and against God. I have showed you verses where God says homosexuality is forbidden unnatural and inhuman. For some reason people just ignore them.

For those people who don't agree with me I suggest to leave Quran and Islam and start reading Alistair Crowley's books. He is the biggest supporter of homosexuality and sodomy.

                            END OF STORY

People may very well be "born gay". People are also born with, imo, far more serious things like pedophiliac tendencies. I can't exactly talk from experience here, but growing up in a certain environment, it'd be entirely possible to supress such urges, right?

I share the sentiment that the Lot verses aren't referring to homosexuality specifically regarding the cruel acts they commited (for the reason Reee stated on page 1) but I agree with Hawk99 and Scrappy-Doo on the notion that homosexual marriage isn't something that's permitted within the Quran.

                                @sonny,

You are entitled to your opinions. Clearly, I don't share your views. I am not as sure as you are that people are not born gay. What if you are wrong and indeed God created people gay? Then basically what you have done is insult God saying that He created satanic filth.

Also, I suggest that you study the verses that you quoted 780 to 84 carefully. You are basing your hatred and attributing things about God based on inaccurate translation and misunderstanding. if you persist and insist on holding onto your beliefs, that is your choice. You are responsible for what you believe and do. And at the end, you answer to God standing account to your actions. You have heard more than one persons asking you to look into what you are saying.

God did not say being a homosexual is a sin. If a guy is gay but never has any relations - does not act on his desires outside of marriage and never gets married, is he a sinner? And what sin did he commit? You can be a homosexual and not a sinner.

So Sonny, I will take God's advice and choose not to view homosexuals as satanic filth and such. Islam does not teach or preach hatred. What God hates is our actions and behavior which are less than righteous. It is wrong to hate, to discriminate especially all in the name of God. What I feel is much compassion to those who are homosexuals and struggling with their sexuality. I know teens who are suicidal, struggling with their sexuality and how they are affected by people like you. What sickens me even more is the attitude that people have towards homosexuals who are driven to suicide. A little bit of compassion and understanding goes a long way. Doesn't mean you have to agree, condone or accept.

Although it is my understanding that marriage is between man and woman and having sex outside marriage is unlawful, I don't share your hatred, bigotry and such. given my understanding and what I believe, I am not a proponent of gay marriages but i do not actively oppose gay marriages on humanitarian grounds. And also I don't want to be the one to make it harder for people wanting to be in a monogamous committed relationship.

There are a lot of things that I don't agree with - homosexuality has become vogue, cool and political to the extent that if you don't accept homosexuality then you are seen as being close minded. I don't agree with gay couples adopting and I very much oppose that. There is so much homosexuality and heterosexual immorality in the media - movies, TV shows, commercials that I choose not to watch these shows. But I don't harbor hatred, bigotry or anger towards homosexuals. I oppose discrimination, hatred, bigotry, bullying and calling homosexuals deviants and satanic.

personally, i know people who struggle with their homosexuality. and the question has been asked why God would deny gays the right to marry. This is a question to ask God. I don't know the answers and i don't know even if my understanding is correct. All i can say is to the best of my knowledge and understanding, marriage is between man and woman. I acknowledge that there are many things I don't know and don't understand. Just as i don't know why God chose to guide me to his Truths when I would much rather be living an ordinary, simple life and not feeling lonely. Also, I am a heterosexual who has had to control my desires and have come to acceptance that I will never be a mother and so I am not as sympathetic towards homosexuals who have to control their desires. So being a homosexual is no greater test or struggle than being a heterosexual monotheist following Koran alone living in this world - sorry but just my feelings.

If there are people on this forum struggling about their homosexuality know that God is aware of your struggles. My advice is seek God.

Although I view same-sex sexual activities as lewd, I Personally Support Gay Marriage. That's because there is less of a "tying factor" in relationships in the Gay community, meaning that there is more break-ups in Relationships in the Gay Community. Thus marriage would be better to keep people together, instead of going out and having a relationship after the other, and thus commit more lewd acts with multiple people instead of 1.

                                  I say Let them marry!

Can you back up your statement with evidence? If as you say, some cases are due to lack of male role models then how about the other cases? How about lesbians?

So are you saying that you choose to be a heterosexual which means that you are also aroused by men but choose to be with a woman?
