How can we ask anyone for help and yet still follow 15?
Yes, I am asking for help regarding a verse which says "you alone we ask for help"
I believe it not a verbal asking at all, as He knows without us asking him,
example.
it's actualy if you are in any situation where you can lie or go by truth and you choose to go by the truth , you are actualy asking God to intervene - remember one of His qualities is the Truth.
But if one chooses to lie then he is actualy inviting the devil to help(God Forbid).peace

And We sent not before you except men to whom WE revealed. So ask the people of the Reminder (thikr) if you do not know.1644 -
With clear proofs and writings; and WE have revealed unto thee the Reminder (thikr)
that thou mayst explain to mankind that which hath been revealed to them, and that haply they may reflect.
Conclusion In short, you are allowed to ask the Quran-followers concerning the Qur'an.

I think its very straightforward. We ask Allah swt for help as our Creator, the Originator and the Divine. We do not call upon another being that we imagine to be Divine. God may provide help through other people, and so asking other people for assistance after first asking Allah swt to open our way will be necessary in some situations. Or we may help ourselves or use a mixture of the two.
After we receive such help, lets say in terms of understanding the Quran, then we still then turn to Allah swt to ensure we get accurate guidance and aren't way off the radar.

Just to elaborate further.
when our movements,actions,doings are in line with the qualities of Allah we actualy are seeking from Allah.
When our actions (and such) are in line with the qualities of the Devil we are seeking from the devil.And we are realy to seek from Allah.
With the first Sura , we are simply affirming our intention, Like the oath of allegiance or the oath you take in a court room, and the path we are to take is in the quran.

I think it is quite natural that we say things with our voice to God rhetorically. Also it allows more concentration to use speech to ask God for something, it becomes more formal somehow. It is pretty inwards to only think things to God even if He knows your thoughts.
Besides, certain verses in Quran inclines that one should say things to God. Why say (qul) "Oh Lord. Bla bla bla"? How doea that rhyme with exclusively thinking things to God? How do you adjust the tone of thoughts?
My logical conclusion is that the voice is included in the worship of God. Even if it was allegorical, what goes most natural? Thinking or saying? Neither is seldom more than a monolog but the speech adds more emphasis.
Cry out to your Lord if you are in a crisis or subtly implore Him for that new home theater system you wish for

of course there are certain hadith , which say cry your heart out - to change Gods mind......well God will do what he will, how can we change his mind when he is never wrong - it is we who may be wrong , and for that will He Do what we ask of Him? Doubt it very much.
So , it is realy simple follow Him or the Devil.

God can add things to our lives that we ask for. It helps calling to God for various reasons or the Quran would not have such verses with obvious quotations meant to reveal that conversation and to ask God for things is completely in line with His religion.
Also, I was not saying God is wrong, but He can also provide for you and He is living and something animate which can respond.
I will let you have your "thinking" religion, but I guess you miss out on a whole lot. Your God seems to have no personality and be pretty inanimate. So much for all His attributes...

I personally know a young lad who started talking to God and and even started to see angels , then he underwent Psychosis, now he has being undergoing treatment. Well i am not saying don't talk to God, but within limits.
God always does good for us , even without us realising, but if we decide to jump into the fire that is our fault.
When we are acting according to the attributes , we are actualy inviting God into our lives.
There Ayas in the quran saying "take on the Sibgah of Allah" like "take on the colour of Allah" which do point in the direction of acting according to the attributes - i think.

There are some different meaning regarding Sibgah Allah, the meaning is Allah's dye, Allah's religion, Allah's colour etc.
But it's not important because the real meaning is based on your inspiration.
