    Peace Man of Faith,

Standard accepted convention is that the Book guides in timeline. While despatching us to the Earth as autanomous species enjoying freedom of choice, Allah the Exalted had said that we will be guided by Him through His Verbal Communication. He did not mention that the people will be having their personal "holy spirits".

Man is free to select whatever he likes. Allah's guidance is solely the Book, whom He the Exalted calls "My verbal communications".

      Peace,

There is no such personal Holy Spirit, it is belonging to God.

You are entitled to your opinion. I feel you are limiting yourself with your perception. But God is not limited to His Book and He is interacting with us on a daily basis.

There is so much proof of God's presence in our lives both in the present and in the past. I cannot understand you have not noticed it by reading Quran.

      God bless you

        Timespace never remained without .

And it is certain that in the past We had given to Musa the Guidance-Guide Tor'aat.
And We had caused Bani Iesraa'eel to inherit the Book.
Its served as guidance and a source-reference book to frequent for the men of wisdom who look into matters objectively without overlapping with emotions-prejudices-biases-whims-caprices.

It is the fact of remote past.

The semblance of those who were entrusted the load-responsibility of the Tor'aatAfterwards they did not bore it except like certain donkey who is carrying the load of books.Wretched is the semblance of the nation who contradicted the Aa'ya'at verbal presentation of information, facts and knowledge in the Book of Allah the Exalted.
        Mind it Allah the Exalted does not guide against their own will-considered decision those who are mischievous-distorters-substitute facts with conjectures-myths-concocted stories;

          Peace,

Allah the Exalted is omnipresent. It does not mean that He guides in person. He has given the way that one should guide oneself. And that is His Book containing His Speech-Words. Holy spirt if reffered to the Angel, then let me clarify he has nothing to do with guiding people.
Why we are not willing to accept simple words of Allah?

            Salamun alaika,

Sorry Bender, you merely see the words and in your imagination draw a conclusion. You do not see the text and the structure.

            Alhuda is Qur'aan.

The month of Ramadan is the month during which the Qur'aan was compositely; flash descended.
It is a guidance for the people; and distinctly self explanatory verbal passages were gradually communicated from the miscellany of Al-Huda'a the Guide and Al-Furqau'n the Criterion; the Separator of right from wrong, fact from falsity-conjecture.

Qur'aan describes the fact for the entire timeline. Qur'aan was thereafter revealed gradually. Whatever was coming it was coming from the Qur'aan.

BLUE So why did you translate it as Tor'aat in 4053 hmm

As for the rest, I am a bit shocked that one who has so much knowledge in arabic grammar can not grasp such a simple thing.

              is hudan equal to AlHuda?
is bayyinatin mina AlHuda equal to AlHuda?

I repeat same what you quoted my post. You need to study basic conventions of reading a text. Text has a timeline. AlHuda is the Book of Allah. And a book has miscellany of verbal passages of various types of texts. bayyinatin mina AlHuda seems to you three words whereas it is not like that. See the translation.

However, would you like to answer the question of the thread? Whom you consider your ?

Muhammad sas; Mirza Ghulam Ahmed; Rashad Khalifa

Al Quran is not more then a hudan, so is AlKitaab and also AlIndjeel ad also AlTawraat and many many other things. None of them is Al-Huda

So what is AlHuda? You quoted your self the ayaat.

This is not a fair question. You give me a multiple choice question without the correct answer to choose from. In this I way will never pass my exam

                    Salamun alaiki,

We seem to be on the same point when we take the Qur'aan as the origin and source of guidance without intermixing human opinions.

Qur'aan is the Guide. And guidance is needed in time and space. And time is just the Day and Night-24 hours and 12 months.

The guide must tell us what to do during these 24 hours and at what time; like when to go before Allah and when to go in privacy with wife. How to conduct and observe protocol when in the presence of Allah; and the conduct and protocol when in privacy with wife.

All of our actions are meant and aimed at satisfying the appetities and desires of three areas of body; the chest; the middle part stomach; and the pelvic area. Qur'aan as guide must tell us as to how we satisfy the appetities of these areas and about those acts which are beyond the limits permissible for us with regard to these three areas. This is all categorized under social conduct.

Nothing is at our discretion to determine what is good and bad. Good and bad is explained in Qur'aan. We have to remain within the bounds prescribed by Qur'aan for salvation.

                    Peace brother,

I would say I agree with most of that. God's guidance cannot be substituted by anything else, at least that's what I've understood of your post. Apologies if you meant something else. handshake

So God's spirit is not existent in our world? He is dependant on angels? What a dependant God you have.

                        Salam,

Yes guidance is in the words of Allah contained in the Book-now Qur'aan. All those who seek guidance in spirits including so called "God's spirit" are wandering in their fascinations. They delve in their subconscious minds without knowing what are the functions performed by that brain. The conscious brain attends to the guidance not subconscious brain.

Let me tell your problem. You do not concentrate on the words and the sentence but remain busy in roaming inside your own brain.

See the coloured part of your quote. It is a complete sentence beginning with verb like particle which is used to lay emphasis upon its predicate. Its subject noun is and predicate is a possessive phrase. It is telling the is certainly the guidance of Allah. Anything beyond it is not guidance but wandering. I think this much you know that subject and predicate are two different things having an ascription-relationship.

Get out of your subconscious mind and please read the post again. Wandering and astray are not synonymous.

Stop roaming aimlessely. Listen to the words of the Book of Allah. Use conscious mind. Allah has given you more than one brain---Qur'aan uses plural of paucity for it. Use the topmost brain, not the middle one.

                                Peace,

I am concentrated on the words of the Quran, but I believe there is a spiritual aspect of God's religion too.

Your problem is that the Quran is your idol despite being the words of God.

Of course God is present in this world, talking about God's spirit is just to make it comprehensible.

And Quran is Guidance but only with the help of God. There are countless numbers of people who read Quran and does not understand a thing. This is because they lack Guidance, God has sealed their minds and is not supporting them. They can really try but they cannot extract a simple thing from the Book.

God's influence is required to be able to progress on the Path. Certainly angels will help too, but they carry out the Will of God.

I think you can read and understand the words of Quran yet not grasp the Message. When you say God is not interacting in this world is a proof of this.

Well, I suppose it is pointless to discuss with you such as some other people around feel. We can agree on that you have your deen and I have mine.

                                God bless you

Reading and understanding of the semantic information of the text yields you the message and the voice of author whose book one is reading. The book is authored to convey the intentions of the author to its reader and his expectations about reciprocal response.

You wish not to first listen to the author but wish to locate his spirit around you. One cannot announce even his belief without the will of the Creator because every cell of human body is ordained and contains inbuilt written guidance of the Creator.
The Providence is all around us. But guidance is when you wish to listen His words spoken through the Messenger.

                                    Peace everyone,

Mazhar - I think I agree with you partly, then.

Man of Faith - I also agree with your point about needing God's guidance on an individual basis in terms of understanding the Quran and in life in general. I think if people worry about confusion, they simply need to say I seek refuge with Allah from the outcast Shaitan. I happen to believe, according to my understanding, that Shaitan is a metaphor for evil but I know not everyone agrees with that. I believe there is a verse that says when people do feel some confusion or things like that - when they say that, and they make a prayer they can see clearly again but right now I don't have time to look up the verse.

                                      Peace,

The Message is in the text yes. But it would be naive to believe that God is not present in the world as we know it and our only guidance is a book.

God's spirit can be in you even before you encounter the Quran since His Message is not restricted to it. People like Abraham could be believers and they had no scripture to guide them and in fact the was little in terms of scriptural information until God had the Quran revealed. Loads of people have managed to be guided before the Quran and the information was mostly hearsay and when Moses came it was stone tablets. Lots of scrolls of parchment have existed but they were not God's exact wordings.

I combine my system, I read and try to understand the Quran but I do also follow the inspiration I receive and I base my life upon the words God wrote in His Book now once I discovered about it.

But without God the Quran could have meant nothing and I may have discarded the Book without even giving it a chance.

Well we blame each other for problems and I see yours is idolization of Quran. You place it as more important than God and that Quran is an intercessor and mediator. It is the same as Christians who believe you need to go through Jesus' words for salvation, but in your case it is replaced by God's own book.

What about your own Wisdom and Knowledge, you believe it cannot be a blessing from God for putting your trust in him? You believe we cannot have nearness to God as "person" and that He is personally guiding us? God is One.

                                      God bless you

                                          Salam,

Providence means presence of Allah the Exalted and His Will all the time and everywhere. His presence and His Will with regard to us is known and becomes evident through His Words. We hear the voice in the Book. The best book is the one wherein the reader can hear the voice of the author.

Inspiration comes from the Book. Qur'aan is a persuasive book. Its Author wants us to act upon it after having thoughtfully evalualated it. Sincereity comes only when one agrees in letter and spirit with the message conveyed by the Author.

Qur'aan is the SIMPLEST book in the world. It tells in simplest words the desire of its Author as to how the man should manage his own self and understand his surroundings wherein he lives. This is the simplest Manual for the top of line product ever created-the Man. Why to complicate one's life with inspirations outside its contents?
