Clean in my mind and heart

1- When I am clean from my mind and from my heart, at such times, I feel myself very close to Allah. This is because, if we have problem in our minds and heart then it may lead us to go astray. 210-11, 37
I have a question... If i want to feel very close to Allah, i have to be clean from problems in our minds and hearts, but i am always filled with problems and issues, if it is not home problems it is worldly problems. The prosecution of innocent muslims and so on.. it really bothers me and i dont understand why?

I don't think you have the right understanding of 210-11. Would you mind explaining more. Perhaps this would help. Some 20 years ago, I thought that my heart and mind were diseased as I had troubles with hadiths. It took years to see the truth.
When your heart and mind is filled with problems, don't you think this is when you need God the most?

This statement you posted is a kind of dilema.Why?
You said you want to be close to Allah by remove problems in mind and heart, but as we know in this world we always face the problems or tests from Allah to testing our faith.There is some to get close to Allah, like by do salat, meditation, recite Quran, thinking His creation etc.And in the last Allah is not only your actions but your heart.

We all or many of us have felt that way at some time. We suffer because we are powerless in the face of it. As against that you should do, of course what is in your power and for the rest trust God and ask him to take care of those you cannot help. He can and He will. You have to trust. You have to trust that everything in His hands will be squared, that those who suffer will be requitted as least pproportionnately. That their reward will be bigger for having undergone such trials. That, as God says, nobody will regret anything. You have to trust, brother or sister and not be impatient. For you it may be a big dispairing mess. For God it is nothign. God can right everything and make good everything.
Help along, pray along, and trust. He knows. He knows how you feel, just ask Him and trust Him. God wants that we ask him for things.

I often try to pray but it results in me neglecting prayer and wondering if its necessary, even thoug i KNOW it is obligated i am very rebellious when it comes to the ritual prayer i was tought as a child.
I dont know why that is. So my connection with Allah is merely talking and trying to feel his response if you understand what i mean. I just think in quiet moments you can sometimes have an answer.

I think the biggest problem to get past is the doubt about whether God exists or not. If you become momeen and become absolutely certain then it becomes a lot easier.
Most of us may have to work hard before God actively shows Himself through signs which are clear enough not to be missed. When you begin "to walk along the beach with the Lord" then you will not have the slightest doubt about God's existence. And you will particularly feel more Peace and Prosperity since God walks along with you.

I really want to become momeen but maybe you are right, i always want to know who GOD is and from reason, this image of an old man with a beard jumps in my mind when i think of him.
That's what i have when i pray, i think of an old man with a beard thats staring at me and checking every move.
That scares me a lot (you wouldnt believe what other scary thoughts enterd my mind when i am praying or trying to pray)

As it states in the Quran, Surah Ikhlas, nothing is comparable to God. If you free your mind of this constriction, as you are trying to, it will really help.

Yes i believe that too, but i really want that connection and some kind of approval because from Allah.
Like i said i need to get to know Allah better i think it is very important to understand life and why we are here.

Do you want to get to know Allah swt in terms of your personal relationship with Him or also in general? His attributes as mentioned in the Quran are a good place to start to get to know Him in general, to recognise He is very close to you in a way that we can't comprehend, but He's close. And that He is beyond comparison.
I would say speak as openly as possible, of course with respect, but in an open manner. Allah swt knows everything you feel etc, but this is about you understanding and expressing your connection with Him. I would also say do charitable things - in the ways you can spare - and simply do good for the sake of Allah swt. I believe this way, we may become closer to Him in a way, as well as fulfil what He wants us to do - out of love for Him.

I believe in a Contact Prayer - as far as I can tell its supposed to be individual although I also stand bow and prostrate without rakats. The timings - it really depends how you interpret these verses. It could mean when you are compelled to prayer, to connect and contact for thanks, for praise or for fajr and isha which could also be the start and end of your actual day. There are also metaphorical interpretations of salat-ul-fajr and salat-ul-Isha.
I would say you don't need to physically bow and prostate since in your own mind and soul you are submitted and reverent towards Allah swt.

I think the Quran is easy to read in terms of understanding the main principle or 'cornerstones'. Such as knowing the behaviours to follow and what to avoid, also because its a reminder it becomes more self evident almost, remain humble, seek help with patience, constantly turn to Allah. What have you found difficult to understand? Do you mean the Quran in general or verses? I would say read it prayerfully, and with a real intent to know the interpretation and the guidance that Allah swt will bestow through logic, through reason and even through intuitive understanding. This may sound unusual, but sometimes I just open the Quran up and start reading it after a prayer, for example. I just go with the flow.

The metaphorical interpretations could vary but one is fajr - is a metaphor for when light comes in, when we receive blessings, whatever we have been asking for and we humble ourselves in prayer. Isha - is a metaphor for the darkest time, when we really need help and we seek that help from our Lord.
I'm not sure what you mean by how does a person have to interpret these verses - you mean about salat or the timings of salat? I may have already explained, I'm not sure.

Which verses would you say it contradicts? There could be people who cannot physically bow or prostrate but Allah swt knows their love for Him and their devotion. Prostration really is about your intent, so when you prostrate on the floor, it doesn't matter about the position, what matters is your intent when you go into that position.

I mean with the interpretations, that everyone can make their own rule on some matters as the hijab and so on, because not everyone has the same translation of the Quran or not everyone understands a certain verse in same way. I am trying to explain i hope you understand.
So if i read a verse (aya) i think what does Allah swt want to say with this specific verse and is it ok to use a verse alone or do you have to include the previous and the next or maybe the whole surah to understand the meaning?
