It's because deen cannot simply translated in to "religion" because "religion" is manmade.

      Peace Earthdom,

"Religion" is a correct translation. In "english" We say "the catholic religion" or "the
protestant religion" or "the jewish religion" or "the muslim religion" or "the hindu
religion". We do not say "the christian deen" or "the jewish path" or "the catholic way"

      I hope this is useful.

      ONE GOD

      peace

        Peace,
        Brother hawk99.

I finished MD Medicine in 1982. Starting from 1978 for six years I was practising as general practitioner, knowing well it is a disservice and a haram practice, the reasons why it is that would surely and slowly come to surface in my thread "Peace Vs. Emotions". I was not practising it without fear in God.

Then I tumbled on the concept of homeopathy which I found to be a better system than MM. While practising it I was again disillusioned and found its concept inconsistent. I prayed all the while I do not want to practise any system of medicine that involves drugs in any form.

A wonderful concept called acupuncture seized my heart; I embraced it immediately, leaving the homeopathy; and it was amazing experience for me for 13 years. By Allah's grace the 13 years were like me journeying with Allah all alone. With just a single needle on a vantage acupuncture point, precisely guided by Allah effecting a cure within seconds of touching it, took me to a level beyond the skies. This is Allah's work and not mine, I was clearly informed of it by the One Curer if I am right.

Per day my earning was USD 2000 from morning 530 to 930 am. But then I became afraid when the people began murmuring if I could be God, or Avatar of God. It is easy for the Himdu community to say so and even they would not hesitate to fall at the feet, which practise I warned them against. I became really afraid. People were queuing up before my house night and day.

My prayer now to Allah I would not be willing to continue acupuncture as the patient speak I am god or godlike. Save me from this shirky business but I want to be a doctor. I left acupincture one morning of a sudden, telling all my waiting patients, "I will not touch you with needle any more for it was not me effecting a cure, but Allah." Many, almost all left me in just three moths. My house was deserted with no more patients coming to me. I became a pauper like.

Allah finally taught me His Way. From the year 1999 December the patients one by one started trickling again after a gap of 3 years. Now after 13 years of leaving acupuncture, with the cure effected in each patient through prayers alone, I am teaching Quran and how to be under the grace of Allah by shirking away from shirk. My fees now is USD 2000 per patient. It is no more a fees now because I am not curing but God. It is an offering they have to give as their alms for Allah having guided them in the right path through a chosen person from among them. I was not revealing this all along only to avoid embarrassment on both the sides.

Take Sadaqah (alms) from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it, and invoke Allah for them. Verily! Your invocations are a source of security for them, and Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

          My brother,
          Man of Faith,
          Salam.

Hmmm... Please remove this awesome expression for what Allah holds for you should be uniquely a newly different method of easy sustenance hitherto untouched and unimagined by any of the 8 billion population of the world. Right now each one of us is on top of the worlds by Allah and as a believer we believe as such and may Allah increase us in His belief. Say, "O Allah, the Most Benevolent, Ample-Giving, forgive me for that Hmmmm..... expression" You hold much more for me and unto each of such believers of this forum". After all the USD is nothing but a donkey eating paper. Even the donkeys would not taste it. So the more you devalue the nasty paper, your credibility of your IMAN raises in His esteem.

          1. Those who spend their wealth in Allah's Cause by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Most Bountiful. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Allah has heard you repeating after this prayerful words. Most, almost all toil hard in business to earn the ugly paper; should Allah make things easy for you in this temporary life or make it hard? Easy, isn't it? Then will you seek from him to give you good 'busi'ness? Or 'easi'ness? All the rest of the world seek from The Most Easy, 'busi'ness; they are like bygones. Seek EASINESS from Allah, The Most Easy! He would be pleased with you for having coined a new Attribute to Him over the so called 99 of Sunnis.

O Allah, The Most Colourful! Make my life easy, cosy and rosy!
O Allah, The Hearer, The Knower! Make me, Surrender unto Thee!

Your life shall change from this moment! Never doubt! Say Amin! Which means O Allah, I have placed my IMAN in you at whatever I had wished for right now as I was reading through this post.

          1. It is not for any person to have IMAN, in other words to be a Mumin, except by the Leave of Allah, and He will put the wrath on those who are heedless.

          Your dear brother
          Fazlur Rahman

          Salam.

About saving the money, there is not a word in Quran which I would not dare do.

One fifth of what I earn is spent in the cause of Allah in line with 2273 and 841

              1. They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs In order that ye may consider-

I do not save but spend for the best living for saving the money and believing in the savings for the future is haram; and spending is halal for unless we believe Allah would bring us more and more, it is impossible to spend.

The more I feel, "I earn!" The more niggardly I become. I would begin to consider I am in no more need of Allah. So to be in fear for Allah all the time, I spend except for a few months' saving ahead of me. Soon even that fear will go, by Allah, the Ample Giving.

I would be satisfied with what Allah leaves me behind after spending in His cause which would be too good for me.

              1. "That which is left for you by Allah is best for you, if ye believed! but I am not set over you to keep watch!"

              Brother

Thank you drfazl for your posts. I was wondering about saving too and I just dont understand there is the ayat about when someone is dying he should leave for his wife a one year financial security. To me that seems imposible if one doesnt save (2240). Otherwise saving is contrary to 1042. Maybe its not so black &white depending on the reason, circumstances etc...What do you think?

                  Peace all

In that case all words and languages are man-made. The Arabic language was not exclusive to the Quran, God chose this language for His revelation or no one would have understood it. It existed prior to Quran.

Religion is not an accurate translation of deen, but it may be acceptable as such. You need to analyze the etymology of the word religion and not what it stands for in common usage. I have my theories of that and it is not far off from deen.

Yes Man of Faith, the word "deen" is cannot simply translate into "religion", but it has the wide meaning.
The proper example is my intepretation in page 2.

"Religion" is a correct translation. In "english" We say "the catholic religion" or "the
protestant religion" or "the jewish religion" or "the muslim religion" or "the hindu
religion". We do not say "the christian deen" or "the jewish path" or "the catholic way"

Thankyou for some your explanation of english grammar in this thread, but as non English speaker I more concentrate on Arab-Indonesia, rather than Arab-English peace.

Not only Surah Kafirun who told about this, but also 1041.Both of this verse told us to follow our own path without disturbing another people paths. It's why I call Surah Al-Kafeerun as anti oppresion.

1041 And if they deny you, then say ?I have my deeds (amal), and you have your deeds (amal). You are innocent from what I do, and I am innocent from what you do.?

See this verse.Verse 1041 is very similiar with Al-Kafeerun and it's about amal and not limited only for religion.

Another blind sheep promoting European freedom. A blind sheep that does not see the fence around him/her. Freedom in Europe, hahahahahahahah. Do you want to see where your freedom ends? just try to walk in the opposite direction of the flock, and when you are close to the fence try to jump it, then you will see how you end up slaughtered in the table of your masters.

Hoey my comrade, don't describe me by using that Christian term such like "blind sheep" elektro.

wrkmmn, do you know who really I am? do you know my background?

I live in a village with traditional adab and cultures still highly viscous.Because of this I always hide my Quran alone teaching from my family, friends, and neighboor because if they know my true faith, possibility I will be abandoned and became "trash" in society.
Baah I'm educated people, I want have some free-thinking withouth any opression.

You must say Alhamdullilah to Allah because you live in a place withouth any oppression, forcing ideals so you can implemented your Quran Alone teaching openly without any fear nor bounded by any traditional mindset.

2240 Says the dying husband must without fail put it down in his will that his household shall take full care of his wife with honour and dignity for one year and until such time she moves to another house with an honourable exit. This ayat is not about bequeathing wealth and money he has saved but about the 'death-will' he should hand down to his household or next generation.

With this take, we do not find contradiction between 2240 & 1042.

                      Going back to al kafirun,

I don't see in this aya much to interpret. It says exactly what it says and it is full of meaning. We are not God, we cannot make as we want with the people or the things or the universe. Therefore all we want with dealing with those with whom we do not agree is just state clearly that we disagree, and that we agree to disagree. In that sense it is, like earthdom says, applicable to different circumstances, like personality of tastes or whatever.

You to your thing I to my thing and the world goes on turning. It is, yes a bout freedom, and more even than freedom, facts, and it is about clarity. We know where we stand. Ultimately, clarity, acknowledgement of facts, makes for peace and for freedom.

                      Salaam

I do not save but spend for the best living

Just don't spend it all in the good life, remember Qur'an 731 O CHILDREN of Adam! Beautify yourselves for every act of worship, and eat and drink , but do not waste verily, He does not love the wasteful!

I just wonder, if you do it for the sake of God, why don't you do it for free? because, the gifts that come for free shall be given for free.
Jesus told his disciples when he sent them to fulfill their duty " Matthew106-10 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ?The kingdom of heaven is at hand.? 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, 10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Matthew 715-23 15 ?Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep?s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Qur'an 4730 And if We wished, We would show them to you so you would recognize them by their looks. However, you can recognize them by their speech. And God is fully aware of your works.

Spending for the best life includes every care you undertake with belief in God as bottom line. Believe in your income that which God gives you; and shift not your belief to the savings you had stacked as wealth from what God had given you. This is thankless insincerity to God.

And as to the gifts they come for free to be thrown away at random? Any verse with effect to that? Please read 2273 and see if you could sense your view anywhere near to that!

And finally I do not get why you had referred the ayat 4730?

I laughed! I thought of a similar joke myself, that "oh, well he isn't taking a small price, so maybe he is avoiding those revelations that way" hahah.

                                    Freedomstands,

God is your God and my God.

Of course God curses. Blindness is a curse. But one should always look at oneself first. God does not have to really do anything for the soul shrinks to non-existence and then they will have a relapse. That is punishment enough. Perhaps they are reborn blind.

Even more sin it is to hurt a blessed person, because they have the favor of God. God protects those held dear.

That is indeed a message to be reflected upon.

                                    Be well
