    Saalam waleykum,

I hear this a lot when it comes to Islam, and the subject is most obvious pedophilia, necrophilia, and zoophilia. I do not mean to sound rude but I when I researched these topics all three were yeses that Islam allows these. I know you can't always trust internet sites, but can anyone here tell me with proof and facts? Many cite 654 and 3349 when it comes to pedophilia being acceptable in Islam as well as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) oh and and apology to everyone if my question sounds rude.

      Peace

Pedophilia seems to me to be an ambiguous thing , but speaking from what I know of the quran, there are rules for spouses , and the spouses are humans, not non-humans, but any order of human. Dead people don't seem to fit the criteria either as the sexual relationships in the quran seem to be something that is done between two live persons.

        Salaam,

Why? These verses have nothing to do with pedophilia. The Quran does not even mention anything about age. Marriage is something you have when you have come of age. The Quran mentions as little as the Bible about a prerequisite age. The "muslims" who practice underage marriages are not following God's religion and cannot be affiliated with those who truly do.

Where is necrophilia mentioned according to critics?

        God bless you

Thanks for the answers but not f someone comes up to me saying these stuff is allowed how should I respond? Also for the necrophilia part people cite the story of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his foster mother in the grave. The translation of the hadiths says the prophet slept with her. Correct me if I am wrong but the usage of "slept" gives a different view to the event.

            peace Wania, all,

            I strongly recommend the following
            http//misconceptions-about-islam.com/muhammad-married-young-girl.htm

As for 654, traditional commentators contradict themselves with regard to their understanding of this verse and the verses in the above link.

You may find variance in traditions etc but Quran is clear on this matter.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Maybe that you disagree with them and that they should re-evaluate their views and not believe everything they are told or even that their research may be wrong.

That story/hadith sounds insane. I've never come across that but anyway in regards to sunni islam you cannot marry have sexual relations with foster mothers so maybe it literally means "slept" also how could he sleep with her.. Sunni islam prohibits the digging up of graves, so unless he slept on top of the burial... Weirdest hadith ever.

The article Wakas linked is good, have a read.

              peace.

Please see chapter/verse 4/23, "Do not marry what you fathers had married from the women..." and "forbidden to you are... your foster mothers who suckled you". If you could not do so while there were alive you certainly could not do so while they are dead.

@ Wania if you are truly ready to become a true submitter then you shouldnt ask what does the Quran and Hadith say it is what does the Quran say and what can I deduce from my reason. If someone told you that the Quran supports terrorism would you then become a terrorist or neglect islam completely . All the "philias " you mentioned are wrong and harmful and shameful so you must know that such cannot be in the Quran tour job then is not to find out whether the Quran accepts it or not but to find ways to refute it from the Quran .Some Sunnis are really sick people better to stay away from them altogether but no hate. Peace
