The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model: The Remarkable Program Of The Words.
-
Thank you.
"A question do you know what a verb is? If you do can you give three examples with their tenses?"
-> A verb is word that describes an action which contains a "movement" - sorry, it is my philosophical understanding of a verb so far.
Examples- to walk; 1st person I had walked, I was walking, I walked, I am walking, I walk, I will walk, I would have walked, I would walk
- to build; I had built, I was building, I built, I am building, I build, I will build, I would have built, I would build
- to eat I had eaten, I was eating, I ate, I am eating, I eat, I will eat, I would have eaten, I would eat

Excellent.
There was a reason for my asking this which you will soon see. I want to show you something about Arabic verbs and hence The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model.
Look at the verbs you have chosen! Let us use only the pass tense form for now!walked
built
ateLet us have a look at them. They are made out of letters of an alphabet. Some letters are consonants and some letters are vowels. What I want you to do now is replace all the consonants with the letter x and all the vowels with the dash ( i.e. -). Here are my three examples
- wrote = xx-x-
- read = x--x
- studied = xx-x--x
Do the same with your three examples.
-
Ok.
- walked = x-xx-x
- built = x--xx
- ate = -x-

If Quran is for the Mathematicians or the illiterate barbarians?
Post 2
The bi-literal and tri-literal verbal roots of the past tense extend into four further extensions and dimensions producing another 2 458 624 (two million four hundred and fifty eight thousand six hundred and twenty four) verbs of various shades of determined and calculated meaning.
How is it possible that such a thing could have emerged or evolved from the mind of man (and/or woman).
The Qur'aan says that of all the languages ALLAAH designed he chose the Arabic language that he placed and preserved in the hearts and minds of the barbaric people of Arabia so that when the time is right His symbols would become perfectly explainable to the world. The Qur'aan states that no other language in the world completely fulfills that need; only Arabic. How is it possible that such a thing could have emerged or evolved from the mind of man (and/or woman). If we apply this sense to arabians who were worse minded than a common man, you can even call them the worst of all people in the world in that they were illiterate and barbaric forming the most majority when the Quran was alleged to be revealed in the classical arabic and not in their own colloquial arabic tongue - how could they have ever understood, emerged and evolved. Then the whole purpose of Revelation of Quran is destroyed. Allah says it is easy to understand for those who think, remember, ponder and reflect and not to those who are maths and language oriented. Whoso corrects their evil habit and emerges pure, Allah picks up such purity oriented bondsmen and would conduct him in the straight path through His Quran. Allah is the author of Quran; and none but Allah should be able to teach Quran.
Do you think with your understanding of millions of verbal patterns for each word, and only with the knowledge of multiple millions of vocabularies - you can derive at a determined and calculated evaluation of an ayat? If it is so Quran need not have been sent upon a people of barbaric nature who only could utter hundreds of varied slangs of colloquial arabic.
Whenever Allah chooses a prophet it is to warn and give glad-tidings for the last time, to an almost incorrigible population. At that time the arabians were the worst among the entire population in the whole world. So Allah had to choose their mother tongue to reveal Quran in Arabic. This is the only reason why arabic is chosen for Quran. Even the barbarians and incorrigible illiterate could understand the guidance form the Quran, if Allah so Will. For it is Allah who would guide them if they wish for it. Otherwise every language is Allah's. Allah knows how to communicate to the ones who turn to Him alone for the guidance. It is Allah who guides even a bee. The guidance is by way of Allah's intuition and not by way of institution.

The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model
I have attached Fig.001. There is nothing like it in the world. A complete Language Program designed by ALLAAH (God) Himself. Bring something like it or find fault with it. The Qur'aan is Perfect from every angle. And you have seen nothing yet.The Program to generate all the Arabic Root Verbs. Read the notes below.
http//www.theholytablemountain.net/lexmod1.png
There is a debate that has been raging between scholars of the Qur?aan, especially between Muslim and non-Muslim protagonists that goes something like this
? The Qur?aan claims to be a revealed book in an unadulterated or pure Arabic language but in reality it contains many words that are of foreign origin.?
In other words if the claim contained in the Qur?aan is proven to be incorrect then it would be clear evidence that the Qur?aan is not a divine book that was supposedly revealed to Muhammad (S+) for the guidance of the whole of humanity for all time. Henceforward it could or should be discarded and regarded as nothing more than a literary curiosity.I would like to present this argument here from a completely different angle which I will show to be the correct one. This presentation of The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model is important because its understanding is necessary for the further understanding of the other models of knowledge contained in the Qur?aan. They are among others The Qur'aan Cosmological Model and The Hidden Book that I am discussing in other threads. Everything will be easy to understand; knowledge will be gained; and an appreciation will be shown to the magnificence of the beauty and design of the language in which the Qur?aan is manifested.
I will begin as follows by asking,
?Is there anybody out there who can give the answer to the following three questions?- What is the definition of Arabic?
- What makes a word to be an Arabic word?
- And what makes a word to be a non-Arabic word??
Arabic is the name of a perfect language that has its origin in a program of mathematical knowledge brought into existence by (ALLAAH) God. And that is the fundamental theorem of language.
If a word has its origin in that program then it is defined as Arabic. But if a word does not have its origin in that program then it is defined as non-Arabic. And that is the first corollary or immediate deduction from the fundamental theorem of language.A word is not defined as Arabic because the person who first uttered it was an Arab. Nor is a word defined as non-Arabic because the person who first uttered it was a non-Arab. The definition of what an Arabic or a non-Arabic word is has nothing to do with nationality.
And that is the first strike of the sword of truth against a fallacy of a definition of the origin of the words of language.A great many words of the great many languages calling themselves non-Arabic can be defined as absolutely Arabic even though first uttered from the mouth of one who was non-Arabic. But this knowledge is known only to those who will have knowledge of The Qur'aan Lexicographical and Etymological Models
And a great many words of the languages calling themselves Arabic can be defined as absolutely non-Arabic even though first uttered from the mouth of one who was Arabic. But again this knowledge is known only to those who will have knowledge of The Qur'aan Lexicographical and Etymological models. What is the Qur?aan Lexicographical Model?
The Qur?aan Lexicographical Model is a program of the design, order, and structure of all the words of the Arabic language. Beginning from the layout and forms of the fundamental verbal root letters; their various types; their further extended verbal dimensions; and all their possible derived words visually presented as a model of about a thousand pages arranged vertically and horizontally. The Arabic language consists of an alphabet of 28 letters plus one special letter called alif; 3 short vowels written above or below the consonantal letters, which can be extended into 3 long vowels using the 3 universal letters alif, waaw, and yaa?; and two important diphthongs ay and aw. From here the entire structure of the language is build upon a well designed arrangement.
The fundamental verbal root letters
Roughly speaking the Arabic language is based on letters arranged in twos threes and fours with vowels in between and after. They are all verbs of the past tense.
Here is the complete list of examples of all the Arabic fundamental verbal root patters.Verbs based on this pattern
XaaXa consonant- long vowel- consonant- short vowel
M?L- = MaaLa = he or it inclined, sloped, bowed
T?L- = TaaLa = he lengthened
S?B- = SaaBa = he hit (the target)Verbs based on this pattern
XaXXa consonant- short vowel- double consonant- short vowel
R-F- = RaFFa = he or it flashed or flared
T-R- = TaRRa = he sharpened (a pencil to a point)
L-B- = LaBBa = he abided (at a place)Verbs based on this pattern
XaXaa consonant- short vowel- consonant- long vowel
T-W-- = TaWaa = he rolled up
L-W-- = LaWaa = he curved, bent (something)
H-W-- = HaWaa = he or it fell downVerbs based on this pattern
XaXaXa consonant- short vowel- consonant- short vowel- consonant- short vowel
N-M-R- = NaMaRa = he numbered (numbers)
S-B-R- = SaBaRa = he was patient
K-M-L- KaMaLa = he or it was complete, whole, totalVerbs based on this pattern
XaXXaXa consonant- short vowel- consonant- consonant- short vowel- consonant- short vowel
S-LS-L- = SalSaLa = he or it formed a chain reaction
Z-LZ-L- = ZaLZaLa = it quaked (the earth)
N-MN-M- NaMNaMa = it rippled (sand in the wind)There you have it the complete verbal program (100%) upon which the entire Arabic language (99%+) is based and thus the Qur?aan and as we have already said wherein it is manifested.
And remember that this is only one Page of a Thousand Page Program called The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model. To be continued in posts to follow inshaa allaah (if ALLAAH - ELOHIYM - GOD had willed).
Post 2
Can you imagine this- that the language with the largest vocabulary in the world (probably not excluding English as well) can be reduced to a singular program of five simple verbal patterns that produces
007 056 (seven thousand and fifty six ) of nine forms of bi-literal (of two letters) verbal roots of the past tense;
065 856 (sixty five thousand eight hundred and fifty six) of three forms of tri-literal (of three letters) verbal roots of the past tense;
614 656 (six hundred and fourteen thousand six hundred and fifty six) of one form of quadri-literal (of four letters) verbal roots of the past tense;687 568 (six hundred and eighty seven thousand five hundred and sixty eight) in total verbal roots of the past tense.
Then the bi-literal and tri-literal verbal roots of the past tense extend into another fourteen further extensions and dimensions producing another 1093 680 (one million and ninety three thousand six hundred and eighty) verbs of various shades of determined and calculated meaning.

The above so far are but two parts of a thousand page program of the Arabic language that generates about a million books of the structure of the language. Do the language of the Qur'aan sound like a barbaric and uncivilized language. You have seen nothing yet.

Bro Amiyr,
If you had presented lexicographical model of Quran to prove it is from Allah, definitely it is not the yardstick according to Quran to prove the same. Or if it is out side of Quran, and only of extraneous enthusiasm in maths and arabic language you had started the thread, I am sorry. I have no say in this.

Although The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model has nothing to do with the two points that you have mentioned above, both your points can be regarded as valid to some extent. The QLM is nothing more than the direct mapping most simplified graphical algorithmic compression of the words of the language of the Qur'aan and now in the process of being presented to the world for the first time - a thousand page program generating a library of almost a million books brought into existence or confirmed by the Qur'aan. Follow this thread and you will become amazed at what you will see inshaa ALLAAH.

SalamIf only we follow the purpose of sending this Quran to the mankind by Allah, we would not be landing up in such material passions with syllables and numbers.
It would be even more amazing when Allah communicates between us and His various creations such as Dawood - mountains; Sulaiman - winds, ants, birds, Malayika, jinns; zulqarnain - the innumerable powers over most natural elements; Ibrahim - cooling fire, dead birds coming alive; Musa - the sea, the staff turning live serpent, the rock and water springs; Esa - Even as an infant, Allah communicated Esa's words of admonition to his people; and the Signs of Allah is formidable. Let us follow Quran and you will be in heavens revelling in Allah's grace and Revering Him with earnestness. Let us follow the guidance and the straight path in Quran so that neither worry, nor fear, nor grief shall touch us in this world until we reach heavenly eternity.

salaam+Here are the appropriate verses of the Qur'aan dealing with among others the two subjects
- The Qur'aan Lexicographical Model
- The Qur'aan Etymological Model
1424
Hast thou not seen how ALLAAH has struck a (mathal) likeness/similitude/comparison/parable/ model?
A good word (non-arbitrary exact etymological lexicographical entity/entry) like a good tree (perfect language)-- its roots (etymology) are firm (non- arbitrary and exact), and its branches (applications) are in the sky (wide in scope and specific) ;1425
it gives its produce (neologisms) every season ( at the appropriate time) by the leave of its Lord.
So ALLAAH strikes ('amthaal) likenesses/similitudes/comparisons/parables/models for men; in order for them to remember/think of/bear in mind.1426
And the (mathal) likeness/similitude/comparison/parable/model of a corrupt word (arbitrary inexact etymological lexicographical entity/entry) is as a corrupt tree (imperfect language) -- uprooted (etymologically lexicographically foundationless) from the earth, it has no stability (meaning subject to possible changes).1427
ALLAAH will confirm/strengthen/consolidate/substantiate those who have believed with the firm word (non-arbitrary etymological lexicographical entity/entry),
in the present life and in the world to come; and ALLAAH will leave the wrongdoers go astray. And ALLAAH does as He wishes/wills.If you can see you will see.

SalamEtymology The origin and historical development of a linguistic form as shown by determining its basic elements, earliest known use, and changes in form and meaning, tracing its transmission from one language to another, identifying its cognates in other languages, and reconstructing its ancestral form where possible.
Lexicography involves a process of work of writing, editing and compiling from volumes of vocabularies
I will be much obliged if you make me see an ayat that says, "The Quran is mainly to be assessed and valued by its linguistically developed, reconstruction of its ancestral form, dating back to stone ages just to confirm it is from Allah. And the compilation of Quran involves a great tiring process of work of writing, editing and compiling from volumes of vocabularies which is possible only with Allah."
I can give you the ayat 482 to rehearse and confirm that the ayat is only from Allah. And Allah knows all languages spoken in the heavens and the earth for all languages sprout from Him. It is He who communicates between celestial bodies, humans, various species and between every element and to the heavens and the earth when He intends. Without Allah's communication upon who He will, there is no chance one shall even touch Quran to get at the Truth for Guidance. To say lexicography and etymology to be used as parameter to verify its Author as Allah , is demeaning Allah and degrading Quran.
- He said My God knows all that is spoken in the heaven and the earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
14 24-27 Amiyr, you had tried too hard to arrive at your imagined model after stumbling blocks likeness/similitude/comparison/parable/model. Just see what Allah says to you

You should not attempt to pass judgement on it as you would be doing a great injustice to the knowledge contained in the Qur'aan. I understand that you imagine that I have imagined this model. Bro Amiyr,
SalamIf you know, Quran contains guidance and messages for those who are pure at heart to Allah alone - who dignifies, praises and submits with soulful humility to Allah alone. The sense here is Quran is a revealer, a reminder of the glad tidings and a warner till the end of your life here in this world by intuition that which Allah had infused or breathed-in at birth of man from His RUH.
Quran has nothing to do with words and the knowledge man had acquired from the birth of the world of his dead-past. But Quran has every wisdom to impart Iman in the Unseen Truth and guides you therewith into the unseen, unimaginable glorious future of beauty upon beauty that no words can ever catch it. Words are fruitless before guidance into the message of Allah. The words shall only testify that which is in us as the Truthful Message from the Almighty, the Most High.
I am not judging you when Allah is the Only Judge; it is plain exchange of the Communication.
- Or lest you should say If the Book had been revealed to us, we would certainly have been better guided than they, so indeed there has come to you clear proof from your God, and Guidance and Mercy. Who then is more unjust than he who rejects Allah's communications and turns away from them? We will reward those who turn away from Our communications with an evil chastisement because they turned away.

I too do not judge negatively your good intentions in any way. I want to get on with real tangible stuff but you are blocking the way brother. What must I say about your statements that contain much truth but do not address the real issue of the thread.
You also did not answer my question. Are you saying then that the physical Qur'aan contain no words?

Your answers are correct! Now for the next experiment. You write ten verbs of the past tense and I will write ten verbs of the past tense. You do the same format as above and I will do the same. Then we put the twenty verbs together and see the results. Good luck!

al-amiyrBro Amiyr,
SalamSermon is fit for priesthood and it does not befit a believer. When it comes to Quran unless you are sure by way of rehearsal or in guided-righteousness into the future by the moment verifying and testifying the message in real time, it is construed the message of Quran is not completed on you and one cannot recite Quran to others. So it is not a sermon. It is Communication of what I found as Truth in real time.
I have not answered your question because Quran is soulful wisdom communicating to mind; and not a physical language with mindlessness. Without the power of the mind conducting you, physical activity is incoherent and in-coordinated. Quran cannot be reduced to this state of affairs. Do not make wisdom and knowledge equals.
It is not blocking your way brother, but broadening and expanding the heart with mindfulness.

Beautifully said! But I am presenting the physical Qur'aan in the physical world for a physical people. We appear to be in different dimensions. I take note of all your understandings. It only increases my knowledge about human perceptions about how they see things.
You can share as much of your thoughts as you wish. I am a good listener.

SalamThis physical world is nothing but pure sport, glamour and vanity; the physical people follow the illusion; and could there be a physical Quran catering to their illusion? That too a physical Quran from Allah? I definitely need to have a look at the ayat if you could show me.
- Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then whoever is removed far away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained the object; and the life of this physical world is nothing but a provision of vanities.
