Quote from the linked blog
The word Kaaba came from the Tamil Language which originated around 1700BC.
That statement alone is enough to condemn the article to the trash can.
The word ?KAABAH? is the feminine form of ?KAAB?, a genuine and original Arabic term meaning that which is prominent / stands out among its peers / sticks out from its surroundings / is the basis or foundation of something / center of attraction or gathering.
The pagan rituals being conducted in Makkah today are an amalgam of kabalistic Saturn worship, fertility worship, and male phallic symbolism. Also, with all due respect, Arabian culture is far older than Hindu/Vedic culture. (The ?Brahma? of Indian culture was taken from the Arabian ?Abrahm?, NOT the other way around).
Anyway, there were many kaabahs (prominent places / sites) in Arabia, but only one was allowed to endure and overshadow all others. This is why the word became, in the minds and consciousness of people, synonymous with the cubic shape. But that is not the original meaning of the word.
Let me give you a few examples.
Example #1
According to Islamic history, Muhammad sent his general, Khaled Ibn al-Waleed, to a valley called ?Wadi Nakhla?, site of a holy tree that was dedicated to al-Lat, the Arabian fertility goddess. The worshippers of al-Lat used to put ornaments on the tree, and dance naked around it. Muhammad?s command, according to the account, was .
Translation ?Go to a tree in the heart of Nakhla?.
And so the messenger of God dispatched Khalid, along with 50 of his finest warriors, and they burned the Kaabah of al-Lat to a cinder, as the story tells us
Hence, the Kaabah of al-Lat was a TREE. It was not a cubic stricture.
Example#2
Look up ?Kaaba of Najran? in your internet search bar, and you will learn of a huge cathedral that was built on a hilltop overlooking the city of Najran (near the Saudi-Yemeni border). This cathedral is mentioned in old Arabian poetry, and was described vividly by the British explorer Philby.
http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_John_Philby
The Kaabah of Najran was NOT a cubic structure. It was a cathedral, a place of holiness and prominence for the Christian community of Najran, and was placed in the care of Arab cardinals. The building was destroyed and buried by the criminal Saudi Zionist rulers, when they annexed the region in the 1930?s.
Example #3
Arabian history tells us of a conglomeration of tribes called ?Al-Fils?, who had their own Kaabah, where they offered animal sacrifices. This kaabah was described as a vaguely face-like rock outcropping (formed by wind erosion). It was like a human face in the middle of a mountain. It was not a cubic structure. According to Islamic folklore, Ali bin Abi Taleb, the alleged cousin of Muhammad, led his own contingent of warriors against the Kaabah of al-Fils and, using sledge hammers and pickaxes, went ?Taliban? on the thing.
It was not a cube either.
To understand how the meaning ?cubic structure? was incorporated into the language, let?s take a look at the term ?Kleenex?.
Long ago, when my grandma still had her teeth, when someone wanted to blow their nose, they would say ?Pass me a tissue?. Later on, a certain company brought to the market a brand of tissue called ?Kleenex?, which became so popular, that it became the generic synonym of the very word ?tissue?. Hence ?Pass me a kleenex, will you??.The many kaabahs of Arabia fell into ruin and oblivion, all except one the Kaabah of the Hijaz, in what is today known fraudulently as ?Saudi Arabia?. Because it was the only Kaabah that endured, and because it happened to be cubic in shape, the word ?Kaabah? itself took on the meaning of ?cubic structure? and became a generic term, just as ?kleenex? became synonymous with ?tissue?.
But this is not the original meaning of the word. The Quran does NOT say ?Allah has made the Cube to be the Restricted Sanctuary?.
It says
{Allah has made the place of prominence/base/center of gathering to be the Restricted Sanctuary}
This meaning is obtained by reverting the word to its original context.
As for the cubic structure that is beloved by all Muslims today, it is nothing but a shrine dedicated to the god of time (later incorporated as SATURN), which they circumbulate 7 times. It is an Arabian Jewish kabalistic symbol that was adopted by the Himyarite Jewish tribes of Jurhum and Khuza?a
( ة who migrated from Yemen and settled in the Hijaz, after the final collapse of the Ma?rib Dam.Look up and research ?Black Cube of Saturn?, and judge for yourself the accuracy of what I?m saying.
Peace and best regards. -

I have seen this claim before that Brhma of indian culture was taken from the Arabian Abrahm. Is there any concrete proof of this?

It doesn?t really matter. I was simply pointing out the fact that some critics of the Quran have rushed to the unfounded claim that the figure of Abraham, revered by the three so-called ?monotheistic faiths? , was adopted from the Brahma of Vedic/Hindu culture. If one was truly adopted from the other, it is most probably the opposite case.
Take a look at the so-called ?Maqam Ibraheem?, a tiny shrine that stands near the Black Cube
http//i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb386/Gorefiendel/K27.jpg
If you look inside that octagonal cage, you will see two large footprints that they BELIEVE are the preserved footsteps of Abraham (the Patriarch must have been at least 3 meters tall to leave footprints of that size...so they BELIEVE).
http//i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb386/Gorefiendel/K29.jpg
Note how the footprints are surrounded by the pattern of flowers and leafs? Compare it to the following inscription from a temple in India, dedicated to the fertility god
http//i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb386/Gorefiendel/K30.jpg
In the picture below, we see clearly the same pattern of footprints + leafes + black banner, which represent fertility concepts (wherever the god of fertility treads, flowers and leafs grow in the path of his footsteps).
http//i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb386/Gorefiendel/K31.jpg
They claim these are all Vedic/Hindu influences on Islam. But how can they be sure it is not the opposite case?
In the end, it doesn't matter who copied who. What matters is that we highlight the case of blind BELIEF vs TRUTH.
They BELIEVE that those are Abraham's footprints.
They BELIEVE Abraham was over 3 meters tall. In fact, they BELIEVE that mankind, at the time of Adam, was 12 meters tall, then shrank shorter and shorter as the eons passed. They BELIEVE that the current site of the Kaabah marks the spot where Adam descended from the heavenly paradise.
Do those beliefs represent the truth?
Are they any different from the case of a religious Jewish fanatic who stands by what is called "The Wailing Wall" in Jerusalem, because he /she BELIEVES the wall to be a vestige of Solomon's temple?
What is the difference between the two photos below?

It is nothing but religious dogma, which the masses have been programed and mentally conditioned to believe in, as inherited from their ancestors and religious / political leaders. It is the mentality of the "flock of sheep", employed by the elite few to mentally condition and control the mass majority. It is hence CONJECTURE, which the vast majority of humanity have been following.
{Most of them only follow conjecture. While conjecture does not avail against the truth in anything. Allah is aware of what they do}...
A pilgrim in Jerusalem was once asked by a reporter "Do you really feel closer to God when you stand there?"
The pilgrim's reply was "No, I just feel I'm close to a brick wall".Thnx for your reply! So the cube we call the Kaaba today is not the correct place to perform hajj?
This is an irrelevent question, because the true Hajj, as desribed in the Quran, is no longer appliccable today. This is because there is not one nation on this Earth that is trully applying the Deen and living by its code. What we have today is a freakshow of pagan rituals. They have made a mockery out of everything related to Hajj. The Saudis have surrounded their alledged "holiest place on Earth" by Masonic-design skyscrapers and 5-star hotels that very few people will be able to afford. They have made their so-called "Kaabah" an insignificant little dot next to the giant towers around it.
In these circumstances, one can care least where the correct place is. The location becomes irrelevent once you see what they have done to the actual meaning...the substance of it.
Regards.

There are Brahma and Brahman within Vedistic/Hindustani culture.
I deliberately avoid the use of "Hindu/Hinduism" as Hinduism consist of hundreds if not thousands of totally different belief/sect and still growing.Brahma http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahma
Brahman http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BrahmanBrahma is nowhere to be found in "Veda", while Brahman is.
Brahma might be originated from Abraham, due to the similarity of the wife's name, Sarasvati, (A pun from Sara?).
During his lifetime, Abraham open up a free hotel for traveler, presumably located somewhere in Canaan / today Israel/Palestine, it's not far fetched to guess that among his 'guest' were Hindustani traveler / merchant, on journey for doing trade with their local partner the Phonecian in Sidon.
Back home, they tell the story of "This pious man named Abraham and his wife Sara", which become legends, and legends give birth to myths of a deity named Brahma and Sarasvati..
A pilgrim in Jerusalem was once asked by a reporter "Do you really feel closer to God when you stand there?"
The pilgrim's reply was "No, I just feel I'm close to a brick wall".Finally an honest pilgrim )
I've met another honest pilgrim which retold the same story after visiting Kabba.. )This is an irrelevent question, because the true Hajj, as desribed in the Quran, is no longer appliccable today. Old habits dies hard, tradition is hard to change...
The Kabba and the gathering of people towards it is an income source for the surrounding people around the Kabba..However I didn't say that it's forbidden either..
But it's ridiculous if the Kabaist insist ALL people all around the earth MUST come to Kabba.. otherwise they shall be burn in Hell ??? (Forced Tourism, backed with threat and terror)Just like you said, location is irrelevant..
And all people all around the globe have their own tradition and location to celebrate "Thanksgiving"..Salam / Peace
