This post is more ?philosophical? than scientific. But science is the subject.
On the web, we find many articles and videos about so called scientific miracles of Quran,
Many of them, if not most are fakes.Objectively, many miraculous verses have multiple interpretations. Many miraculous verses are used by opponent to Quran to show what they call ?quranic mistakes?.
For many other ideas, even if quran is proved to carry them, like for example that earth is spherical and turning around sun, we can find ?thinkers?, before Quran, that exposed those ideas.I have personally a scientific background. What I find miraculous in quran is that there is no verse that can be contradicted by science. There is no verse that carries ?old beliefs? proven to be false.
For a book of about 600 pages ?written? in the 7th century, dealing with some natural?s phenomena, it is a miraculous. Even books written in the 20th century are now contradicted.I don?t think that quran is a scientific book in a sense that we will have one day, a scientific and indisputable proof that Quran is from God.
But, perhaps I am wrong,However Quran is a scientific book for me in the way he should be studied.

That word, who was meaning stupid recitation for me, was explained by ?making own arrangements of verses? in order to try understand what God is saying.Tartil is then a methodology. With this understanding, i was many times amazed by capacity of tartil to give answers to questions. Googling quran for a specific word or a set of words resolves many times the problem.
Quran explains himself. There is no need for extra teacher (rabb) than God.Allah chooses Arabic language for his book. The more I read Quran, the more I discover the particular properties of the Arabic language. Etymology of Arabic words are in the Arabic language and don?t come from others languages. It is a clear/pure language (opposed to aajami). Arabic also explains itself and fit perfectly with a book that explains itself. In order for Arabic to maintain his purity against ?foreign? contributions, it is quite necessary that that language has been protected in an isolated geographic area. South of Arabic peninsula fit perfectly.
This ?miraculous? property of quran can be called completeness. It is similar to completeness property of Universe.
Einstein said "The eternal mystery of the world is its comprehensibility ... The fact that it is comprehensible is a miracle"

Word ayat is used both in quran to indicate quranic verses and natural phenomenon?s.
In Fact, we have two set of Ayats Quran and Science.From this idea, we can deduce that the way we have to study quran is the same way we have to study science.
We have then to make hypothesis, build theories and compare them to proofs and reasoning.
We don?t have to be sad if we are contradicted. Ego is the original sin of Ibliss.
Proofs based on hearsays are not proofs even if accepted by 99,99% percent of the people.
Every new theory in quran understanding should be studied and compared to available theories. If it is better, it should be accepted until a better one appears. Two or more concomitant theories are even possible.We have to flush false theories even if they seem very beautiful and ?spiritual?. Exaggeration is a way for shaytan to astray people and let them, for example, makes stupid things as ridiculous prostrations toward a cubic stone somewhere in the desert. What is the gain of such activity compared to the gain of studying words of God ?
Beautiful sentences and concepts that sound good are dangerous. ?We are childs of God? sounds good. ?God is Love for all Humankind? sounds good. But it is not true.

It is difficult for me to explain complex ideas in the English language. However, what I want to say is that Quran is really for free-minded people, and is to be studied exactly in the same way that science is studied. All what is said about the good way to study science can be said about the good way to study Quran. The two sciences are from God, and only the subject changes.

The scientific method in essence requires complete honesty. It requires us to do everything to remove bias and the emotional wishes of the Ego. Without honesty and a neutral and unbiased approach, we will have great difficulties getting closer to the truth, whatever we are studying.
The Quran should also be studied in this way, in a methodical, unbiased and patient way. If we have a theory, we must be ready to scrap that theory, or at least modify it, if we come across evidence that go against our theory. But we might be mistaken about many things in the Quran, so what seems like a contradiction in one place perhaps isn't, and sometimes we might see things that support one understanding, while they actually don't. So it can be complicated and we can easily fool ourselves.In studying the Quran, we must never rush. We need to pray for access, and we must also work on the purification of our minds and hearts in order to gain higher levels so that we may be shown more truths from the Quran.

I have been trying to convince many people of this fact, but all I get in return is mockery, arrogance, and denial.
Try convincing them that the word "IBLEES" is a pure and original Arabic term, and is NOT derived from the Greek "DIABOLOS".
Or that "SHAYTAN" has its own roots and is not derived from "Satan",
Or that "ISTABRAQ" is a derivative of "BRQ" (something that glitters and shines), and is not taken from the word "Brockade".You will get laughed at....even by the so-called "Arabs" themselves.
It's a sad state of affairs.
But I now believe that the term "3arabi", as it features in the Quran, does not refer to a nationality or an ethnicity, but is a description of a kind of speech that is consice, eloquent, and capable of expressing the meaning of terms in an original way (the meaning is "built in" to the word roots themselves), whereas all the other languages of the world are described as being "a3jami" (not consice / lacking something / struggling to convey the meaning). Hence, even a blond haired, blue eyed Swede can be described as "3arabi" if he /she speaks it.
They will laugh in your face and insist that the Nabateans of North Arabia "invented" Arabic, completely out of the blue, around 100 AD. They are incapable of grasping the difference between LANGUAGE and ALPHABET.
I say let them drown in their ignorance, denial, and Orientalist beliefs.

Arab, in quran, is only used to point to the language. So a swede can be a 3arabi.
I think that arabic speaker are designed in quran by AArab(ب while language is designed by aarabi (ي.quranic AArab(ب is traduced by bedouin/nomads. Absolutely nothing in the root of word arab points to a desert or a peasant.

427 And thus We have inspired to you an Arabic (ا revelation, so that you may warn the mother town and all around it, and to warn about the Day of Gathering that is inevitable. A group will be in the Paradise, and a group in Hell.9101 And from among the AArab (ب around you are hypocrites, and from among the people of the city, they persist in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will punish them twice, then they will be returned to a great punishment.

there is no reason to consider that Ahl el madina are not (aarab)we can also notice that Muhammad knew at least two languages
16103 And We are aware that they say ?A human being is teaching him.? The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign (Aajami), while this is a clear Arabic tongue.and that people seems to have made reproach not to use the aajami langage
4144 And had We made it a non-Arabic revelation, they would have said ?If only its verses were made clear!?. AAJAMI and AARABI ? , say ?For those who believe, it is a guide and healing. As for those who disbelieve, there is deafness in their ears, and they are blind to it. These will be called from a place far away.?41-44 seems to indicate that arabic language have properties that aajami don't have and that quran coudn't be in an aajami langage.
So it is clear that at least two languages coexisted in "people of Muhammad". I remember an article of brother ayman who explained that arabic was a popular langage and that aajami was the elite/religious/business one.
it can explain why there was no alphabet that fit in a good way with arabic language before quran and why dots seems to have appeared only after that.
I will not even be very surprised if arabic language was written in another alphabet before Muhammad. Many of my friends are writing arabic mobile messages in latin alphabet and they use 3, 7 and 9 te replace inexistent letters in latin script.Peace

so i give it as an exemple of "new hypothesis".2217 Surely those who entrusted Muhammad; and those who was guided (Jewish /bani Israel ?), and those who change religion (Sabians), and the supporters of Issa (Nassara), and who hesitate (the Majoos); and those who were polytheists (moshrik); God will separate between them on the Day of Resurrection. Past form of guided (allathina haadoo) can indicate people no more guided since they rejected Messiah
Nassara can indicate last guided people (who accpeted Messiah).

Sabians who change from religion to another.
Majus who hesitate , don't reject really

I know what is said about Majus (persians in islamic tradition) but it seems that is not so obvious. Darius, the persian Zoroaster, spoke about magyan as if they were strangers here http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behistun_InscriptionSabians is also an undefined sect according to historians.
