~ Finding the best approach in the Free-Mind's article about the Night of Decree
-
Peace,
Let's observe the excerpt from the Layth's article regarding the night of decree.
http//free-minds.org/night-decree
The most brilliant approach was beginning with the ayah 1925 to find the time of Jesus's conception.
~ And shake the trunk of this palm tree, it will cause ripe dates (Rutab) to fall upon you.
As the article states
"The known time for this stage of date development typically occurs in the Middle East at the end of the peak of hot season and dates are known as ?Rutab? from the period ending in August till the period ending in September. As such, it is with this clue that we can determine that the Messiah was given birth to in the period around September according to the climate of the Middle East."
Now the period around September is one month time interval. Which means the decree for the Jesus to be is among one month interval too.
The question is, which precisely is the night?
Knowing that the phases of the moon are the precision of counting the years, the question becomes, which phase was the moon of that night?
The count of the months of the year is anchored with the winter solstice and begins in the new moon of the winter solstice. In the 19 year cycle the new moon appears twice in the time of winter solstice. In the rest of the years as the beginning is taken the new moon/zero moon after the solstice. (This, taking the moon after the solstice to count I have learned from the World Last Chance - WLC staff).

I don't see "dates" in the aayat of alQuraan, nor did I see anyone is able to shake the trunk of dates palm tree.
May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

mmKhanPeace mmkhan,
Check yaqb.org for all kinds of translation. And regarding shaking, google for date trees and you'll see that there are trees low on height, easily to be reached.
