~ The new beginning

As you may have observed, I belong only to God, alone, and no religion or doctrine traps my mind. Thus, I am again oriented to check the issue of the beginning of the natural year.
From Genesis, it was night when the first decree was given from th All-Mighty - Let there be light.
From the phases of the moon, it is zero moon (or new moon) with which the month begins.
From the movement of the sun, it is the beginning of light, the dawn, with which the day begins.
So, night, zero, dawn.
What are left are the seasons. Following the natural flow, there are two possibilities of beginning Spring Equinox or Winter Solstice.
Had the month begun with te crescent moon, the year would begin with the spring.
But, since it begins with the new moon, it is flowful that the year begins with winter. Also, because it is the longest - night. Then, winter is the time when everything is reset to zero, and ready to begin again.
The year ends at the end of autumn, when eveything is ready for the new beginning.
Notice my judgment, there is nothing added except what the scriptures teach and what is already natural.

Okay...since no thinking is going on here ).....I am posting the guide from Torah supporting my intuition.
Exodus 931 says The flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom. (NIV)
Exodus 932 says But the wheat and the spelt were not ruined, for they ripen late. (NASV)
According to harvesting seasons in Egypt

"wheat, barley, flax and vegetables are chiefly winter crops", if the wheat was not ruined because it wasn't still grown up, and the flax was in bloom with barley in the ear, then it means that we are talking about the early winter season.
Hence, the new moon of the winter solstice or the first new moon after winter solstice is the first month of counting the years.

When you read 12th chapter of Exodus, God commands the children of Israel to take a lamb in the 10th day and sacrifice it at dusk of the 14th day, because at night after that day the Lord would pass over Egypt to cause a final plauge.
When we look at the natural calendar, the month begins with the new moon day, however, the count begins the first day after new moon day. Because, the All-Mighty counted the first day as a working day.
The first day of creation was working day, right?
And evening, and morning......the first day.
Yet the month begins with the new moon, which is not-counted day, or zero day.
The moon wasn't created till the day four of Creation.
So the counting of the years actually began after the day seven, when everything was ready to go after God's will.
Koran - 936 The count of the months with God is twelve months in the book of God the day He created the heavens and the earth;
Torah, Genesis - 24 These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven.
When we see that there are many months during the year which at their end have not counting days/slider days before the moon completing the cycle, which is one day before new moon day, it is plausible that the count begins the day after the zero moon day, and as such the date would be correct and precise.
Either we judge with the word of God, either with the human criteria.
When one says the first day of the month, that's the the first day as God named it, a working day.
Then, in Exodus God has chosen the night after the day 14 to act and the dusk of that day for te people to sacrifice the lamb. Counting the days as I am suggesting, would be the second sabbath of the month, precisely the full moon. Day - rest, dusk sacrifice, night active.
Naturally, the full moon today is the time when the living is most active.
No light, no count.

R.P.S. Also the not-counting or month zero is the thirteen month of the embolismic years, while the system of God is counted with 12 months.

What does the turn of the year mean?
is it from w.solstice to sp.equinox, or from sp.equinox to sum.solstice or from sum.solstice to f.equinox, or from f.equinox to w.solstice?
If you read the verse again, starting from the winter solstice we arrive at the spring equinox.
Because the first-fruits of wheat harvest in Egypt (and in region since it is not far) come in the beginning of April. Just after the turning of the year.

It is not the middle of the year, nor the end. It is the turning of the year, because from the spring equinox the year turns from longer nights to longer days.

The first fruits of wheat in Egypt are ready from March to the beginning of April.
To harvest the wheat has to be in the ear first. And God is saying just before beginning the first month, that it was not. So it is not springtime. It is before spring, winter. That's when the year begins.
Then, flax was in bloom. From the stages of flax development according to the scientific article

2 months vegetative period. 15 - 25 days floweing period. Which makes from 2 and a half to three months.
Since early seeding brings best results, starting from October, November we arrive in December. Again time of the winter solstice.
Late seeding is not an option because the first fruits would not be at the turn of the year.

The year's first turn is in the spring equinox, when the daylight becomes equal with the nightdarkness.
The moon's first turn is at the first seven, when the first half of her light is equal with the complement of her darkness.
The year's second turn is in the summer solstice, when the daylights are longest.
The moon's second turn is at the second seven, when it is full of light.
The year's third turn is in the autumn equinox, when the nightdarkness becomes equal with the daylight.
The moon's third turn is at the third seven, when her first half of the dark becomes equal with the complement of her light.

Hi,
This is interesting. I am considering laylat al qadr to be the time of autumn equinox. It would make sense that the year starts after the winter solstice. What connection to you make to the Torah that talks about fasting in the ninth month? Would shahr ramadan be the ninth month/full moon?
