    Salamun Alaikum

I am a British citizen of Pakistani origin.

I started off my religious life raised in a Brelvi family. As I started to question my parents on Islam we soon became Deoband. I then came to England where I preferred to attend the Ahle Hadeeth mosque. I was still not satisfied with anything though. During a discussion with my Ahle Hadeeth brothers they told me my views were similar to Javed Ahmed Ghamidi, The Farahi school of thought. They have a group in UK where we meet up once a month where we discuss Quran and Sunnah.

I still don't agree 100% with this group and I realized that the only thing that satisfies me is the Quran alone!!!

        peace,

seek the truth and the truth shall set you free................

We have cited in this Quran every example for the people. But the human being is always most argumentative.

"Shall I seek other than God as a judge when He has sent down to you this book sufficiently detailed?" Those to whom We have given the book know it is sent down from your Lord with truth; so do not be of those who have doubt. The word of your Lord has been completed with truth and justice; there is no changing His words. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

The revelation of the book is from God, the Noble, the Wise. . . . These are God's signs that We recite to you with truth. So, in which hadith, after God and His signs, do they acknowledge?

It is an honorable Quran. In a protected record. None can grasp it except those pure. A revelation from the Lord of the worlds. Are you disregarding this hadith?

So in what hadith after it will they acknowledge?

may allah mercy be upon all

          Salaam newcomer,

Even if you do not agree with the majority of these fellows you can benefit from being here as they might give you a new perspective and also you are serving God alone without taking in hadith and other extra-religious teachings into your creed of Islam, so people may give you some support. I do not agree with everyone here and I consider people my friends even if we do not agree to 100% on everything. That is being Muslim I suppose. As long as they follow the clear three criteria in Islam and struggle towards this goal I am pleased with them.

          Anyway, welcome to the forum!

          God bless you

Just give up following the so-called sunnah. It has nothing much to do with Honorable Mohammed.
The hadiths are disgrace to islam and defending them is equal to defending the movie Innocent of Muslims.

But of course learning more about them is so much better than simply ditching them but learning them doesn't mean to follow them like mullahs and their sheeps.

                welcome to the forum.

                Regards,
                Yuliana

                    @Yuliana,

So true what you said, the sahih bukhari is in line with the movie Innocence of Muslims. I think that's where they got their material from. But sadly most Muslims today feel it essential to believe in every single sahih hadith. Regardless of how bad an image it gives to Muhammad (saw) or Islam
