All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

        Salaam,

In fact most people will go to Hell and it does not matter if they call themselves Muslims, Christians, Jews or whatever. It is not depending on that.

        God bless you

Can you tell us more about how most people will go to hell? It sounds fun and exciting. Be sure to provide plenty of proof.

          Salaam,

12103 And most of the people, although you strive , are not believers.

4059 Indeed, the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - but most of the people do not believe.

And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." (An-Naml 73)

And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief. (Al-Furqaan 50)

Alif, Lam, Meem, Ra. These are the verses of the Book; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe. (Ar-Ra'd 1)

And most of them believe not in Allah except while they associate others with Him. (Yusuf 106)

          Do you need more verses?

Besides obvious evidence from Qur'an; take a look at the world around you? Does it look like many people will go to Heaven to you?

Do they fulfill the requirements from this diagram?

Thank you for the verses. I do indeed agree to that, as according to my own observation majority of people (hadithers and non-hadithers) are NOT believers.

            Peace

              Salaam,

The sad part which is worth noticing is that it is the yellow part most miss out on and which leads to consequences in the whole chain of belief. You need a balance between the various parameters which also is kind of the goal in Islam whereof you see that it is within the outer circle of Islam. Islam is derived from the root S L M ( &#1605 which has a general meaning of wholeness, fullness or completeness and you need to balance the whole faith system to fulfill the Islam in the outer circle as presented in the diagram. As you probably understand, the yellow part is linked to the ego level within our mind and soul. When we can let go of our ego, share our possessions to those who need and be helpful and kind then we fulfill the yellow part, while certainly also fulfilling spiritual pureness as taught by Qur'an in terms of hygiene and modesty etc. My argument is that one may need to first approach a certain Belief in God (Nearness and Guidance) as a first step as according to my thread http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9605447.0, but once you have a certain determination/reassurance then it must also be shown through behavior and deeds and acquired "Realm" Knowledge (as I call it).

Mere inner faith or words alone will not lead one to salvation but one has to show it throw his/her actions. My twisted copycatting of Jesus alleged quote "Man cannot live by words alone but must prove it through his actions".

So, to the question of the thread in which this originates we can tell that both Jews and Christians will go to Heaven if they fulfill the criteria presented in the diagram before (belief in God alone and no idolatry is directly integrated in the blue sector of the diagram).

              God bless you

I believe those who are sectarian will never go to heaven, By God... (3030-32) and (385), also (381)

Maybe atheist (true buddhist etc) are likely to be in heaven

It is clear in the Quran... none are jew or christian

Otherwise Muhammad is a Christian or Jew before the revelations.

Ibrahim was not a Jew <- Ibrahim has no religion. So as Muhammad, not a Jew/Christian (religion).
                nor a Christian http//api.ning.com/files/uGCxg7sZSOsBbNwvSUN0m6uFBP5OUvR7e-3lYPcnfzzdki1NKdfBKi*MBEzKhhqFLbCaNgzbOCTwHTwBFp0cz3nyqUP-l7F1/arrowDownSmall.png
but he was (an) upright (man) <- showing a great concern for what is right, fair and truthful way
a Muslim <- defined by the above ayat - an upright man - obedience and justly balanced.
and he was not one of the polytheists <- Concern with right/wrong in religious matters - 3030-32

and... of course, the "DO NOT" prohibition, first priority

The bedouins say, "We have believed."

                Say, "You have not believed
but say, 'We have submitted,' <- Islam
for faith has not yet entered your hearts. <- no faith!! but Muslim

And if you obey Allah and His Messenger <- Islam, vs. disobedience, all or any part of the Qur'an
He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything <- see below

"NOT DEPRIVE OF ANYTHING" means does not require "FAITH". In fact, does not even have to believe in Allah existence!

Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." <- as long we submit, Allah is forgiving, even if we have 0% faith

It is wrong, but Allah forgive. Allah will guide us to faith, and it is none of our business to decide about faith. We are not Allah. Human beings need only to concern about the "DO NOT" prohibitions (minimum, ie. the priority between "prohibition" and "command" (bonus))

I believe those who personally "i'qtiqad (creed)" to deny the "DO NOT" (minimum requirements), or as a sect/group.. will abide in Hell eternally. The rule is very clear. Further and not just not having faith, even need not to be righteous in all aspects of life (it is command, therefore second priority). We need only list the "DO NOT" from the Quran and follow the prohibitions (first priority, and minimum requirements).

Other than the "DO NOT" will cause distress in the society, and causing divisions. Therefore it is also recommended that Allah's command should be personal matters, and the "DO NOT" prohibitions should be public matters (draft for constitution etc), many will be saved. It will cause unity in the society.

                    O you who have believed
DO NOT ASK about things which <- obey or disobey?
if they are shown to you
will distress you <- factor that cause division among humanity
But if you ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed
they will be shown to you
Allah has pardoned that which is past
and Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

                        Salaam sister,

Sure. You can use it if you want. Glad someone appreciates it. I composed it for a demonstration in another thread to which there is a link in a previous post.

                        God bless you
