Torah, Exodus 1212 - For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments-- I am the LORD. (NASB)

Koran 974 - The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by their Lord's leave, to carry out every command. (Khalifa)

If you check the chapter 12 of Exodus, knowing that the year begins with the new moon of the winter solstice or the first new moon after the winter solstice

    http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9605972.0

and the fact being presented that on the fourteenth Night of the first month, God executed his punishment against pharaoh, may very well be that comparing the language of God in 1212 of Exodus and 974 in Koran, the night of decree is the full moon/the night of the second sabbath of the first month of the natural year.

Till now I had seen only the new moon of the first month being with the most possibility of the night of decree, but the similarity of the language of these two verses, made me consider the full moon.

Peace, and praise to the One who says - be.

    May you be His bee.

    R.

It is a fact that We had descended compositely this Book Grand Qur'aan during the Night of the Apportionment .
And what is that pointer which could lead you the perception as to which one is the Settling-Decisive-Night of the Apportionment?
Suffices to know that the Settling-Decisive Night of the Apportionment is better than nights in other thousand months.
During that night, by the Will and permission of Allah the Exalted, the Angels and Gib'raa'eil descend to the sky of the Earth; downwards intermittently with commands-decisions-decree on each and all matters-affairs.
The night is secure and safe for said activity till the emergence of dawn.

In addition, from Exodus 111, ~ Now the LORD had said to Moses, "I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely.

The final decree of the Lord before pharaoh letting people go.

        Also comparing with Koran

        2185 A month of aspiration, in which the Koran was revealed;

Aspiration for what? - For the children of Israel to be free from pharaoh.

        Peace,

        R.

To me it is interesting the comparison between the Scriptures, although I am not quite certain about that soli-lunar calendar...

            Peace readers,

From all the pointers of this dense study, simplifying it the most to be understood by everyone, the night of decree is the second sabbath/the full moon of the first month of the natural year.

            Observations, read http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9605979.0

By the night, the night of decree, the Lord's passover over Egypt. The final decree when Lord decided to make pharaoh let people of Israel go. The oath of God in Koran.

            Also check http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9605972.0

Peace, and Praise be to GOD. The Lord of the Worlds.

I think I am done with this subject. Thank you for your patience, Layth for the first inspiring article about this great Night. World's Last Chance team about their great work with the luni-solar calendar, without which I would never be able to observe what I have addressed.

Thank you again. Peace and love, and let go everything, including what I have presented.

Observation is a Gift of God to whom all praise and dedication belongs.

                  Compare Koran vs.Torah, Numbers.

2185 A month of aspiration, in which the Qur?an was revealed; as a
guide to the people and clarities from the guidance and the
Criterion. Therefore, whoever of you witnesses the month, then
let him fast therein. And whoever is ill or traveling, then the same
number from different days. God wants to bring you ease and not
to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count,
and magnify God for what He has guided you, that you may be
                  thankful.

9 Then the Lord said to Moses, 10 ?Tell the Israelites ?When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body or are away on a journey, they are still to celebrate the Lord?s Passover, 11 but they are to do it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

So, in the first natural month, the first ten days after the zero moon day, are for fasting.

This year, the zero moon day of the first month, compared with pope Gregory, is the 2nd january 2014.

Praise be to God. The Lord of the worlds.

                  Peace,
                  R.

Compare the oath of God in Koran with the night of decree in Torah

8416 So I do swear by the redness of dusk.
8417 And the night and what it is driven on.
8418 And the moon when it is full.

T 126 and ye shall keep it unto the fourteenth day; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at dusk.
T 1212 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night...

The full moon of the month is the fourteenth day.

                    Peace,
                    R.

P.S. This night, the blessed night of decree is marked with the oaths of God

Here you have again another comparison

                    K 89-1 By the - dawn.

T 12-6 The congregation of Israel shall kill the lamb at - dusk.

K 89-2 And the ten nights.

T 12-3 ...In the tenth day of this month...

K 89-3 And the even and the odd.

                    T 12-3 10 days - even number; T 12-15 7 days shall ye eat unleavened bread - odd number.

K 89-4 And the night when it passes.

T 12-12 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night.... T 12-13...when I see the blood, I will pass over you... - Lord's night pass over.

                    peace

I am 100% certain that Moses never read the "TORAH", as per today's definition of TORAH.
Because the TORAH (Book of Deuteronomy) contains a story about Moses death. rotfl

And if the "Sunnis/Shiites tradition" is true, I am 100% certain that Muhammad never read the Quran, as per today's definition of Quran. Because according to the 'tradition' the Quran compilation was being performed 23 years after Muhammad's death and most of all Muhammad is illiterate (of any script) rotfl

So are you QAners certain that today's Quran is the same as Muhammad's ?

                      Salam / Peace

                        Hello guys and gals,

Since every study goes through stages of refinement, here is the latest and completed version of the Natural Time Measurement together with it's annexes, as well as the time of the Night of Decree, which is near.

                          Salaam Jafar

God or some Phrophets never wrote anykind of Scriptures.
Muhammad himself also never wrote the Quran, it's his companions who wrote it.

By reading historical evidences from the Torah until Quran, it's very clear if the God only sent his wahy by lisan/oral transmission not by Arabic or Hebrew text who suddenly felt down from the sky in front of the Propherts.

Btw I see Torah, Mazmur/Psalm, or some Injeel both canonic or not is not really Phrophet's writing, but alleged Prophet's writing.

                          Salaam/Peace

Regarding Sabbath, I see this only autharized to Bani Israel, Pharises, Yehudas.

Btw Sabbath even is not a name of a day, but a "state of calm" according some Christian intepretator.

I accepted your calculations, and am fasting now since the first new moon of the new year January the 2nd 2014, for 10 days.

I assume you are doing it as well...
