Which is worse:Atheism or Blind Belief in Imams/Preachers?

Atheism is shirk free. Allah loves it. They are neutral atleast unlike these hardened sunni enforcement officials such as the imams in the mosques - the dreaded terrorists bringing bad repute to Islam, but claiming to be the peace mongers!
Amongst the atheists/polytheists/socalled monotheists My vote is for the atheists, for now!

Atheists are idol-free but don't believe in a power greater than man.
Blind belief in Imams is shirk as told in the Quran but atleast they believe in a geater power. So I don't know ?Tony, where you been?

Atheism is a blatant form of disbelief but they exhibit less hypocrisy than most professed believers in God. Therefore, blind belief in imams/preachers is worse.

I think there is a verse in this reading that states that hypocrisy is worse, because when one says they have faith in the God, they are looked to by others who want to have faith in the God. So they actually are "examples", while an atheist just rejects.
It is my opinion that many atheists are not really rejectors, they just reject the common misunderstanding of the God as some OBJECT in the skies, I also reject that misunderstanding.
