      Peace.

This thread is as long as it is, because the men are afraid of losing their authority over the women. They are afraid of losing their ability to guilt us into dressing a certain way. It's all about control.

I've been to many beaches in here in the US and the Caribbean. The beaches are almost always family friendly environments. I have not seen any guys on the verge of raping anyone.

Meanwhile, on a trip to India (my mom's hometown), I had boys throwing small rocks at me because I was wearing JEANS. brickwall

That's exactly what it is about. And that's why some men on here get so emotional, aggressive, and insulting. They can't deal with the fact that we don't take their attempts at shaming and scaring us seriously.

          There's an 'ancient' saying

"If you're in Rome, dress like Romans"

In India's remote area? Wear Sari..
In Detroit? Don't wear Hijab, that's dangerous to your safety.
          etc...

And it has nothing to do with morality..

            Peace Earthdom,

Qur'an foresaw this behavior. It is nothing to lose Faith over?

And there hardly ought to be any blame exclusively on the women as it the immorality of the whole community that should be at blame. If every person everywhere did not reward a certain way of being then people would change their ways. So men show appreciation of dressing a certain way. But then we can also ask ourselves if it should be disallowed for a woman to bathe just because she risks showing her nakedness. It is a restriction of freedom. I suppose this is turning it a bit extreme.

But in an urban setting there is no reason with extreme cleavage or excessive naked skin and when you need to express your beauty in such a way it may be a bit immodest. It is obvious that many women choose a certain dress to show their beauty as a female human.

Difficult is where to draw the limit. But the community together draws that standard and in the western world it is okay with generous cleavage and things like that so no wonder these women protect their newfound dresscode. If something is normalized then it is difficult to change, but like I said in my previous post that if men showed their dislike at the heavy body revelation then women would change, but right now the whole community is accepting the behavior and looks except people who are seen as a minority. It is only when a majority of people show a certain thing is wrong or people of authority then a certain behavior will change.

            God bless you

              Peace,

I forgot to say that this behavior must come from the women themselves through inclination rather than men forcing a certain way of dressing.

              God bless you

                The full circle.

Brutes would want to have women at their disposal always and for anything, for blaming, or for sexual entertainment. They are not ashamed of that. Not ashamed at al. No rebuke not being punished, no nothing. But if they happen to have a sexual fantasy, then women must be restricted and punsihed, and a whole new clothe Qur'an invented so that women can be the scapegoat and the object too of their power delirium.

Put men in jail if the cannot behave and let decent people live their lives. Do not come to decent people with the tantrums of the sexually obssessed. They for nothing "araused" and disolute have a problem. Let them solve it and leave the rest of people uncontaminated by their filth. And nowhere the Qur'an says people cannot bathe or cannot swim or cannot give birth. Or are those troubled disolute men meaning that women should give birth with their panties on?

                  Peace Jafar,

Still not an excuse for them having thrown objects at me. That's the point I am trying to make.

Yeah, and I'll dress the way I want in Rome. Unless it poses as a security risk, I'll dress the way I want.

I had boys throwing stones at me a while ago after I slapped one of them in the face when they were trying to harass me. In general, kids here harass anyone who looks in any way different, it doesn't necessarily have to do with clothing. I hear obscenities daily and even when I'm covered from head to toe.

                      Peace,

Even if women decide to suddenly run around naked in the street men must be able restrain themselves. They are responsible for their actions and men for theirs. We cannot force our way of thinking on them. All we can do is showing disapproval with our body language and thus certain women will understand, but not all. But it is not easy when a majority of men accept and approve of a minimalistic dress code.

A well-trained man can endure in a society with half-naked women without problems. And one can always look the other side if it looks too extreme.

The desire to hide various parts of the woman body is up to the choice of the pious woman and not upon men. But the ideas vary between personalities and cultural origin, as where I deem it okay showing hair, arms and part of the legs my wife sees that as a bit intimate. She hides those and I do not force her to show them. I would never command a woman to hide her hair, hide legs (unless it is a mini-skirt then I would still not say anything but I would certainly not approve of her) or hide her arms.

Well. We have to respect even the immodest woman even if we do not approve and live together in harmony, in Islam. As a community is all we can do is not to show her approval, that is the most efficient way of changing the behavior of a whole society. Not sit around here on the forum whining.

But we ought not tell the woman she cannot take a bath in the sea, that is violating her rights as a human is it not?

                      God bless you

Yeah in current society, people who didn't follow the majority's behavior mostly will get abandoned in society.
This is one of the main problem in our faith. Can we be strong to hold our faith in the middle of society who opposite it??

The cult that created french revolution, marxism, counterculture, etc. has created also feminism but feminism is like a Golem and now the (pseudo)creator cannot control the creature.

When somebody warns a feminist (darkness daughter and self-worshipper, Lilith style girl) saying her "do what you want but don't claim that it's from Allah" she will answer for sure "I will say that's from Allah and nobody can stop me". If another warns "When in Rome dress like romans" she will certainly answer "When in Rome I dress like I want" and everytime the feminist answer in this way. Nobody can change her fake concept of freedom and for sure I wannot to do it, I only want to warn men of every race and religion about the feminism as an ideology of hate that is showing its true face here in the West.

When feminists are inside patriarchal societies they appeal to victimism and to the stupid chivalry of old fashioned, (pseudo)traditional men... but brothers, when they take the power (supported by financial elite and bizarre cults) they implement policies of tiranny against men kill your husband and don't go jail, commit adultery and you'll get a good divorce taken the kids and getting a nice alimony of the man, take a good job because the non elected Government of European Union stablished preference for ladies while the men become jobless, etc.

All this is against basic common sense and if some men think that they can persuade feminists to participate in a team with men they are in a big mistake, because they are men haters, despite their angel face and their mermaid's songs (cf. Ulyses and the mermaids myth).

Feminism look like this... sun group

                            But really is... voodoo elektro

Well, if everybody can say that she/he likes is from Allah somebody can say that can eat pork and become drunk drinking wine, can have consensual (agree) sexual intercourse with her/his father, mother, brother or sister... why not? if both like it, everybody is free... no? And the worse, she/he can say that all this is from Allah.

This is the final point of absolute freedom no Law, even the basic ten commandments of Moses are superstition and patriarchal opresion, male control, etc.

They don't realize that is about moral and social structures that prevent Chaos and Yahiliya.

Universe has a structure and when you see an atom the protons and neutrons are in the nucleus and electrons in a orbit around them... but you know, all this is protonic opression, evil protons want to control innocent electrons, definitely protonic atom has to be abolished and replaced by a aleatory mix of particles or by a new atom with the electrons in the nucleus and the protons around them (antiparticles and antimatter).

God created Universe with particles and matter and no with antiparticles and antimatter, but obviusly anyone is free to say that matter isn't ok and a Universe of antimatter is Allah's will. It's free to say it but it's a LIE.

                            Allahu akbar

Yes, but not the women, of course; those feeble vixens! You forgot to add that this "mental strength and discipline" applies only to the men of Japan and not those citizens in personal possession of a vagina- God forbid!

Including the women and their life as a whole. Sometimes I can't imagine how people can control their moves and action etc. This includes how they design their house and garden, their arts etc. Fineness and simplicity.. evidencing how they value nature and life, to the extent of every detail. All these needs lots of focus and self discipline. Mastering the heart and self control... I don't admire western culture or women and got a headache just by looking at them. Nothing so special about them, and just a matter of personal preferences over many traditions and cultures, everyone has their own preferences. laugh

So, when you made generalisations about women previously, that only applies to "Western" women. "Eastern" women are, of course, not like that - I should have figured! That stands to reason. Thanks for the imparting of clarity. Anyway, I best rush along now, I've got to spend the next twelve hours plastering makeup on my face so that when I go to work my co-workers will "accept" me, then I've to give my collections of handbags a polish so I'm not "humiliated" tomorrow morning for not having shiny accessories . And of course, I've got to fit in a group therapy session as well this evening with all my female friends because we're so "afraid" of society and blighted by expectation and all the rest of it so we might communicate our pathetic feelings to one another and "release some tension".

                                    Toodle pip!

                                        Yes you should...

Perhaps you think this is a good way to spend your time, but this is not how I choose to spend my time - nor did I realise that you were paying me for my time and that I am under your instruction............ hmm

by the way, why wear makeup when you are claiming equal rights? confused

Not that I am denying that women should be given equal rights, but do point out to me where I have explicitly asserted that women should have "equal" rights to men.

I do not wear make-up. Even if I chose to, it is no concern of yours.

                                        Men don't wear make up!

"Men don't wear make up!" ? hmm
