Yes, I have seen these people in Malaysia, and I have seen some quite devout ones too.
In Malaysia, sharia even just a formality in piece of paper and mostly used as civil code.
Even in Sarawak (East Malaysia) mostly people in there is Christian.I visit there once time in 1998 with my grandfather.I have some Malaysian friends, and looks like they act like someone who didn't life in Islamic country.Some of them didn't wear jilbab, do carefree life.

Read again I said I don't care about homosexuals and I just condemned the act of anal sex, whether done by homosexuals or heterosexuals.I did my research and there are quite many heterosexuals who are also engaged in anal sex but there are also quite many homosexuals who are only looking for love but never anal sex.
