Mocking Sunnis/Shias

I just wanted to make a post about manners.
This is something that has bothered me for some time. If you go to any arabic or english language Sunni forum, which I regularly do, then you will find people interacting with utmost courtesy and respect for each other. They are respectful, grateful, and always respond with great humility.
Here, on the other hand, Sunnis and Shias are routinely mocked or responded to derisively and sarcastically. How many times have we heard people respond to a Sunni by mentioning the Prophet derisively? Or Abu Hurayrah as "the father of the cat", etc.
The truth is that if we believe ourselves to be closer to the proper deen and the sirat al-mustaqeem, then we should act like it.

wickedness after attaining faith. And anyone who does not repent, then these are the transgressors.? (Qur?an 4911)So if we believe that we are closer to the true faith than Sunnis and Shias, then we should act like it!
And if we shouldn't mock idolaters and pagans, then why are we so sarcastic and derisive of sunnis and shias??
I have relatives, as I'm sure many of you do, who have spent their lives praying 5 times a day. I couldn't keep that up even when I was a sunni! So who am I to say which of us is better? I can't - only the God can. -
Are you a Sunni? What? Sunni and Shias treat others with respect, courtesy?
It's the irony.
Sunnis and Shias just respect people among themselves, okay?
Just look how many of them call non-denominational muslims kaffirs, anti-Prophets, people who are worthy of death, apostates, disbelievers, hypocrites.
Look how many nondenominational muslims (whom they label Quraniyoon or Quranist) are tortured, jailed and persecuted for speaking out their beliefs. What the hell is that? -

That doesn't mean we have license to treat everyone who doesn't agree with us poorly.
The Quran is clear that we should not mock people or be sarcastic towards them, even if they are idolaters. - so we need to cut out all mockery of sheikhs and imams and traditional muslims. We can disagree with them, but not mock them.

You are saying that all of the nondenominational muslims are always rude towards Sunnis and Shias. Maybe some of them are simply rude but the rest of them are just "rude" towards Sunnis and Shias because the Sunnis and Shias treat them like garbage.

"It doesn't matter if they are treated like garbage."
These two comments don't really work. Its very clear that in many places, online and not, when Sunni and Shia aren't bashing themselves, they are bashing Muslims who are not Sunni or Shia together.
I've personally been accused as a "Sunni hater" for backing innocent Shias, and worse when my true views come out. The words "Hadith Rejector" is meant as an offensive term.

Is it a personal thing though or is it just collectively based on their widespread beliefs? I'd be surprised if anyone on this forum is actually that spiteful against individual Sunni and Shias unless they are horrible people back.

Kind of lame term that "hadith rejector", but somehow quite the compliment even if meant as an insult.
