    Hi my name is Dow

I am a revert to Quran Alone Islam for a very long time now.. It was a very hard long journey and I have had a lot of Muslims try and force me to believe things that I could never believe.. and thanks to you the few the strong Quran Alone believers.. I find strength to continue to stand firm in my faith even without a Mosque or nearly anyone else i meet who thinks like we do .. of course it is God who gives us the strength and firmness to continue to stand up for the Quran Alone.. but wow I know He doesn't give us anything we can't handle but He must think we are real bad ass's is all i can say .. 😉 Cause it isn't easy now is it?

Nice to meet you guys hope we can spend some time trading stories and viewpoints that God has shared with us Bad boys of Islam ..

Love and Peace to all of you from the great Pacific NorthWest

    Dow

      Greetings and Peace, all group

      @Dow welcome

Compared to the struggles of others throughout time, our own struggles must appear miniscule. What we do is for our own benefit, for the Almighty is without needs--without need for our submission, without need for our prayer, without need for anything whatsoever.

Have you heard of the parable of the man on the rock? For 75 years, a man sat on a rock. One day, the man died. The man had the temerity to ask the Almighty for a reward for sitting on the rock for 75 years--the Almighty replied that as a reward, the rock would now sit on the man for 75 years.

Compared to the cough cough ~extra~ things that some people do, ours is an easy way. But even when somewhat difficult, ISA, it is worthwhile.

I do think of this site as an online community, and it is enhanced with every person that joins it. Even people that come here to convince the community of "traditional" understandings sometimes wind up embracing the Deen (it normally takes some time).

Who knows? There might be monotheists that live closer to you than you think.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

      peace

      ~Abdul-Hadi

I agree with the way you choose the word "revert" than "convert".
Gotta you know what I mean.

        welcome

Thank you all for your kind words.. I look forward to seeing you all down the page .. that parable reminds me of a joke i recently heard.. was about a guy who was not very nice showed up at the gates of heaven and was asked if he had done anything good in his life.. he said well i once gave 15 cents to a old lady ... when the gatekeeper asked God about what to do, He said give him his 15 cents and send him to hell...

For me the only reward i seek is to see the freedom of the Palestinians for when they are free so will we all be .. I like what Nelson Mandela was quoted to say about this.. "Our freedom cannot be complete until there is freedom for the Palestinian" Brother Barak Obama should wake up and realize he is President before his term is over and sail the Kitty Hawk into the Port of Gaza I refuse to die until i see that day ...
