Salaamun alayka bro,
In my opinion Al-Samaa Al-Dunya is everything in our reach, thus also the objects which are billions of light-years away.
I have a a different opinion on sab3a samawaatin but that is a different topic.
Salaam,
Benderbtw it's not 4111 but 12
salamun peace
AL SAMAA ...within our reach with technology or without technology
what does
AL duniyaa means

Salam
Al dniyaa is opposite to Al akhira, Al duniyaa to me means the universe we are living in.
The seven heavens is the upper orbits above earth in the solar system.

Salam wasi, is there any Quranic refrences to the number seven in relation to heavens? Its difficult to judge where the physical guidelines of 7 regions of the universe would be, given that galaxies, even galaxies large enough to have satellite galaxies, are very numerous. If there is a physical defintion of Heaven, the nearest would surely be the Andromeda Galaxy which is heading right for us. FearGod's grid is unlikely because it includes Pluto which is rather uninteresting and isn't even listed as a full fledged planet by the scientific community, and its inclusion would have to also mean the inclusion of Ceres among other more distant bodies (Sedna, for example).

the stars we see with our naked eye is the nearest heaven i would say .....but those stars are of andromeda galaxy or stars of our milky way ??
please answer this ......
-
The Andromeda galaxy is visible to the naked eye if the sky is dark enough, as are the Magellanic clouds. The Triangulum galaxy can also be made out if conditions are perfect and you have really good eyes. In this age of electric lights dark skies are hard to find for many of us, sadly. I have a reasonably powerful telescope but I rarely use it to look at anything other than bright objects nearby because of light pollution.

you have good knowledge .....then based on you opinion i can say that the nearest heaven may contain i think many galaxies ..
as per this reference
http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_galaxies
if 0.000024% percent of the sky contains 10,000 galaxies ....
which could not even a complete nearest heaven
our nearest heaven is millions times bigger than as i imagined
.just as we see can see many many group of ants ....god can see many many galaxies .....

Yes, what we can see, photograph and measure of this universe is mindblowingly big.
The Hubble telescope - which is essentially just a really big camera in low earth orbit - took a picture with an extremely slow shutter speed aimed at a tiny fraction of the sky (of the size represented by the rectangle in the image below with the moon inserted to give a sense of the scale) which was chosen because it has few nearby stars in it to obscure the view into deep spacehttp//i.imgur.com/q9wDy7g.jpg
Here's what the image shows; thousands of galaxies. This is what surrounds us in every direction, as far as we can tell. o

Link to high resolution http//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/22/Hubble_Extreme_Deep_Field_%28full_resolution%29.pngWhat is even more mindblowing is that God's domain not only encompasses the very big but also the very small, and everything in between. This video is a bit dated but it still conveys a sense of scale that is awesome in the true sense of the word http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fKBhvDjuy0

@Magnus
Salam. So all the colored things on the photo you published are galaxies? Al hamdulah, that's really wonderful. But how does it come that they never show this when they show images of the universe at television? Did they use a special filter?I agree that the universe is wonderful.
Not all things seen are galaxies. There are a few nearby stars too, these are the bright spots that have the "+" and "X" lines emanating from the center.
I don't know what television programs you have watched, but I have seen deep field images from Hubble on TV more than once.
When looking into filters used, I realize that I misrepresented how the XDF image was produced, since apparently it comes from merging numerous exposures taken over a period of several years, using more than one of Hubble's various cameras sensitive to different wavelengths. From what I gather they used five different filters in the visible-light range and four additional filters in the near-infrared spectrum https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2oZ8xaICsg -

Thanks for the info ) -
but there is always one question with intelligent scientist ....
are we alone in this whole universe ?
the function of the
earth moon and sun and nearest heaven with stars we know very well as per scientifically and as per quranbut what do you think about other planets why are they formed or created by god
or first consider other planets with our solar system
-
It is not my place to question God's motives.
All sciences related to physics work under the assumption that "what is true here is true anywhere".
Lately astronomers have found lots and lots of planets around suns other than our own, so planets orbiting stars seems to be a common occurrence in this universe.
Were I an atheist, I might assume that life is also a common feature of the universe where conditions suitable to life exist (water, energy, temperature, chemistry and so on). Now I am no atheist, and I think there is a distinct possibility that this particular place of the universe is in fact "special" because of the presence of life if nothing else. God is certainly capable of creating life wherever He choses, but we will never know if He has done so or not unless we find clear evidence that He has. Science will never be able to prove that He has not, since the immensity of the universe means there are simply too many and too distant places to look. -
i am not asking about the life existance on any other planet ....yes offcourse if god willls he could create life on sun or star or any where
but as quran says that the moon is used for calculation of months and years and it shows its phases as what quran teaches us
secondly the sun ...to show the day , brightness , and shadow etc ha
what could be the other planets in our solar systems used for ?
like suppose if VENUS is not present what could have happened
i think every planet is performing some specfic function with respect to the earth
-
Jupiter is very useful to us, since it swallows meteorites and comets that could otherwise collide with earth. If Venus was not present the size of the solar system could not have been calculated in the late 1700's. The precession of mercury illustrates that Einstein was right about relativity - those sort of things?
