There are those who abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing the believers, and providing comfort to those who oppose God and His messenger. They solemnly swear "Our intentions are honorable!" God bears witness that they are liars.*9107 Any masjid where the practices are not devoted absolutely to God ALONE belongs to Satan, not God. For example, mentioning the names of Abraham, Muhammad, and/or Ali in the Azan and/or the Salat prayers violates God's commandments in 2136, 2285, 384, & 7218. Unfortunately, this is a common idolatrous practice throughout the corrupted Muslim world.
Do Not Pray in Those Masjids

You shall never pray in such a masjid. A masjid that is established on the basis of righteousness from the first day is more worthy of your praying therein. In it, there are people who love to be purified. God loves those who purify themselves.9109
Is one who establishes his building on the basis of reverencing God and to gain His approval better, or one who establishes his building on the brink of a crumbling cliff, that falls down with him into the fire of Hell? God does not guide the transgressing people.Check the verses underlined as per {1736] in case you disagree with the translation.

PeaceThanks for this, kind of just opened something up in my mind which I didn't see before.
Its kind of a shame, actually. I've prayed in various types of mosques in my few years of which I've reluctantly forgiven parts of their belief and focused on the positives they have done in order to assure them and myself of the brotherhood we share even if splintered. I might have to review that belief now.

You become quite isolated when you cannot go to the mosques or other temples, but how fun is it to participate in an act of worship when those in it are mentioning others than God in their Communion (prayer)? They are misguided and unaware of their disservice and arrogant that they are right despite the clear answer in The Book (Qur'an). As long as they are not confronted they are nice, but try to convince them that Muhammad is but a blessed servant of God in a series of Messengers and that he could have been any devoted person in history or say to Christians that Jesus is not the son of God.
Sadly this verse from The Book is utterly true
12106 And most of them will not believe in God except while setting up partners.
Or this
3945 And when God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are filled with aversion; and when others are mentioned besides Him, they rejoice!
Humans are so prone to take idols, is it because God is unseen and humans subconsciously need a physical object to worship? Idolizing Muhammad is not much different than the Children of Israel who communed through the calf. More advanced idolatry perhaps?
