Science has no laws; only theories. One study hardly covers all of the ground regarding sex.
What about pregnancies and STDs? Do contraceptives ever fail or have serious side effects? yes What has been the availability of contraceptive technology throughout history? hmm Are there health risks to women from pregnancy?
Safe sex is a misnomer, just like nonlethal weapons. There are less-lethal weapons, and there is safer sex, but there are inherent risks with both sex and weapons.
Marriage means different things to different people. To some, commitment is the same as marriage (common law marriage, for instance). Marriage predates marriage licenses, to be sure!
Studies have also shown that people in marriages have more regular sex than people not in marriages. Without marriage, any children arising from sex are likely to have fewer resources available to them; likewise for the single mother. Marriage protects people--it protects a male's interests and a female's interests, as well as the interests of a community.
What is the case against marriage?

Abdul-Hadi, I do notknow whether it was intended, but your comparison of sex with weapons is very apt. Are weapons bad or good, is sex good or bad. None of the them It is people who are good or bd, wise or idiots.
And sex indeed is no play and no joke just as weapons. One must be sure that one controls weapons and not that weapons take over over us. We are not animals nor machines. Our sex life has its meanings and for each person everything is different. Statistics on this kind of things are useless unless we have wisdom. So people who have more sex are happier, or happier people have more sex. It is two different things, but statistics wouldn't say. Specially since statistics are also a weapon of mass distraction.
What should not be done with sex is take it as entertainment as if it was a film. It is not. It is very deep and when we do not honour it, we are dishonouring ourselves and deluding and straying ourselves. It is not bout guilt it is about self-understnding and self-love self-respect and responsibility, and of course if we respect ourselves we should consequently respect the others, because the other sare also selves.

Hi my name is J.R i'm a monotheist i study Theology and sex as i was doing my researcher about Sex and Religion i began to wonder if Humans Distorted Sex; Sex is natural thing is a connection and or bonding between two individual(or more if that's your cup of tea). Sex is good not only does it feel good but it has surprising health benefits there was a study done in Nottingham University. The study asked 840 men about their sexual history. Those who kept up a regular sex life in their 50's ? ejaculating more than 10 times a month ? were at a lower risk of prostate cancer. not only can sex lower prostate cancer it can also Lowers Your Blood Pressure , and Lowers Heart Attack Risk.
Sex along with hugging and praying also releases oxytocin, the hormone of 'caring'.
Found to be true in human and other mammals.now why is something so Good for us be so Bad and shameful this is where religion meets sex religion say no sex until marriage,no masturbating,and no touching of any area of your body that makes you feel good.
As far as I know only western religion / tradition teaches such thing above.

Abdul-Hadi, safe sex is good sex you are making me seem as if i hate marriage and or marriage sex if anyone is having sex i suggest them to protect themselves you and your partner should get checked and i suggest the person to know his/her partner for a while im not talking about that one night stand stuff im talking about two adults who has feeling for each other and dont want to get married. I personally don't have anything against marriage i think it is a beautiful thing but im a young man who don't want to settle down just yetTo answer your question about STD's you can get Sexually Transmitted Diseases not alone by sexual intercourse but through oral sex,bodily fluids, like blood and semen or direct skin-to-skin contact with an infected area of the body.Herpes, HPV, and syphilis are transmitted primarily through "skin-to-skin" contact. even if your not having sex you still can get std.
Not all Marriage protects people from STD not to be a bummer or anything there are husbands and wife's that have cheated and given their spouse sexual diseases. I hypothesize that's the origin on why (some) human, especially human within Patriarchal society invented marriage.
To ensure the longevity of female and her infant.
As human female within Patriarchal society have so many restrictions that can deprive them out of sustenance.The Mosuo society I have cited above is a Matriarchal society, the female hold everything, including property, land and resources.

Whats the problem with mindless sex within marriage? Some studies indicate married people have sex twice as much as single people, you have next to no risk of STDs due to exclusivity, they know what you like, and you get to shag someone you fancy and spend your life with.

In the Quranic Light, Intimacy can only be shared with the Hetero-gender Spouse. There is no premarital Intimacy, nor Intimacy with animals or the same gender as per Quran.
A spouse/mate is of opposite gender, and not the same gender. A Mate/spouse is spoken as a seed-receiver, and may reproduce children (If God willed or be unable to make children). Same-sex Intimacy is not allowed, and is a waste of seed/sperm. Women are the receivers of the seeds, and are likened as a crop-producing farm. As a farmer, you do not put your seeds in the trash, nor everywhere, rather, You only put your seeds where they belong
