Alone With the Truth

Hello,
I joined this site for support and to interact with others because I do not know anyone who follows the Quran only- apart from me. I'm a young woman living in the UK, and I'm at that stage of my life where I have chosen a lifestyle- (being a quran only muslim) and deciding to follow through with it for the rest of my life. It's going to be one hard journey because my parents do not support me.
I'm looking forward to meet some very amazing people here and feel like I'm not alone.
NOTE I do not follow Rashid Khalifa and his 19 theory.

For many, this site is a source of support and interaction. If being a monotheist is a challenge, then it is a worthy challenge! ) There are definitely more monotheists than those who follow Qur'an only--don't forget about these people, because they are truly brothers and sisters in faith.
It is not rites that make a monotheist.
ALLAH knows best.

Welcome to the forum and congrats for your choice. Am currently there too and my parents are totally against Quran Alone and i am not only lonely but feel downtrodden and victimized. But i believe patience and prayers will pay. It is too bad that Quran only muslims are oppressed by traditional muslims.

Sunni Majority
Quran only Minority.Which means there will always be less of us. Truth is mocked and ignored by the majority.
I just hope I have the strength to accept that. )

I am also a Quran only Muslim from the UK, but my parents believe in God but not in religion.
UK seems to be one of the best places to be a Quran alone muslim from what I hear of other countries, but I can imagine it is difficult for you coming from a Sunni family (I originally reverted to Sunni Islam before deciding to follow Quran alone - and I know many Sunni muslim families, so I feel for you).
But you are right - following the majority will lead you far astray - I thank God for guiding you to His true religion and I ask of Him that He continues to help and guide us and strengthen and support us.

I was a sunni, and even a hardcore salafi
All praise due to God, that i want to follow the Quran, without any other teachings beside it now!
Had he uttered any other teachings.
We would have punished him.They plotted and schemed, but so did GOD, and GOD is the best schemer.
I am still on my journey, i want to learn a lot, everything!
We made the Quran easy to learn. Does any of you wish to learn?
My arabic is weak, but i want to fix that one, and i believe we all should !
We have revealed it an Arabic Quran, that you may understand.*
I am 20 years old from the netherlands, i am a software engineer, so i could help the community a lot in sha Allah!
May God guide us to the Quran, and it's best understandings, and Paradise in both this world and the Herafter!

Just remember to never be unkind to your parents, whether they support you in your beliefs or not. You do not have to agree with them if they ask you to do something that is against God's way, but you should not come into conflict either. God indeed guides whom He Wills and is ever Merciful towards those who serve Him. )

It's easy to say that but it's not easy to do, especially when said parents don't respect you and try to force their decisions on you.

I'm from the UK too and come from a non-muslim background so any de-conditioning is kept to a minimum.
You will find much wisdom here and lots of encouragement.
